31. Idiotic. How is this newsworthy? One, it isn't a bikini. Two, what POSSIBLE relevance could this old beauty pagent have on whether Sarah Palin is qualified to be vice-president? It was 24 years ago! I can tell you what's going on here: I can figure that millions of men have been searching the internet for old bikini pictures of this beautiful woman. (She really is gorgeous.) Now all of a sudden this article shows up, and its hits will soar into the stratosphere. What do these men get for their trouble? A mean-spirited yarn about why a beauty pagent alum cannot be vice-president - without ANY discussion of policy whatsoever. Any TYT claims of objectivity in politics went out the window with this piece. I think the Turks will quickly become the laughing-stock of YouTube. This vid will certainly get enough hits to qualify.

32. "I guess somehow commenting on MRS. Palin's past is off limits to conservatives."
************
Of course it's not. But why would you expect that it be treated any differently than mention of Obama's past or credentials? Any time either of those issues comes up, someone starts hurling the "racist" label.
Shouldn't be surprising at all.

34. This is a welcome video, and a compliment to our
freedoms & our ladies..that a beauty contest participant can become a candidate for V.P..
She is a welcome change, in attractiveness and intelligence, to an Obama, Hillary, Biden and many other politicians. I'll accept Sarah, and all her credentials, as opposed to a non descript Obama!

I'm not happy in regards to both candidates but nothing scares me more than the religious right, nothing!

Gee Goddess1
I am of the same opinion, ALMOST. Nothing scares me more than the Religious Left.
But neither the Religious Right or some Religious Left bible thumpers posting here belong mixing religion and politics.

36. Let's see now, if all things are equal. I wrote about Joe Biden having to quit his campaign for Democrat Nomination for POTUS in 1987, because he was caught flat footed making 3 big lies over his background.
The Liberal wingnuts jumped all over that saying it was 20 years ago.
Now the wing nuts are talking about Sarah Palin in a one piece bathing suit, from 25 years ago and still complain about the #1 rated US President, Ron Reagan, from the 80's
Left wingnuts go back in time, but do not go back in time unless they agree with what you said.
David S.- cheesy Miss Alaska contest you say.
Get a grip on yourself.

37. So,,,,,,,McCain saying "Senator Obama just does not understand" will stick in the minds of voters? My sister-in-law is always telling me that I don't "Get it". She's dumb as a box of rocks!

So in recognition of his total lack of relevancy, command of the English language, for the substitution of epithets for dialogue, his undying displays of absolutely no clues on most subjects, and certainly his use of the "typo" to distort another's post, that the Committee on Ridiculous Asinine Posts or CRAP be hereby bestowed on Captain Negative also known to his 'hack, cough' associates on the AOL TYT Newsbloggers as Minus and that from hereon he shall be known in the hallowed halls by his new title, Captain CRAP. (applause) We would like to present Captain CRAP with the Golden Fece award in recognition of all the CRAP he has spewed forth all these many years and wish him a future of CRAP blogging. I see that Captain CRAP is overcome and cannot speak at the present time, but will acknowledge his award in his next, official CRAP post. Thank you and good night.

41. Wow!!
After reading all these baffle-them-with-mooseshit comments, it appears that whatever intellectual affliction she has is deadly contagious. This should immediately be reported to the CDC, and a nationwide alert issued to stem this mass outbreak of ignorance, bigotry and political hysteria.
It seems to be most prevalent in Pachyderms, especially those with a Wright wing. If exposed to this drivel, immediately hold your nose and forcefully say "Blahhhhhh", while laughing in their faces.
The cure for baffle-them-with-mooseshit is uncontrollable laughter. By keeping the Princess Sarah as the VP candidate for the next 40 odd days before election, most sane folks will laugh themselves silly, thereby negating the Manchurian Syndrome, as this affliction has become to be known.
Blahhhhhhh !!!!
Ha Ha Hee hee haaa haaa heee haw !!!!
PS - for those perverts who thought they might see her in a bikini .... He sure fooled you, huh??

42. Had Cenk wrote this, I could understand, but that Ana Kasparian, a woman has not the fashion sense to tell a one-piece bathing suit from a bikini is simply appalling. I am now forced into reconsidering my previous statements on her intelligence outranking that of Cenk's, but after this, I'm afraid she's just another average woman who is used by TYT to sit in a corner and type out idiot posts for Cenk one after the other. Alas, another liberal woman dissed by men just like Hillary was, and now doomed to look at that cracked glass ceiling and know she will never get to break it, let alone throw a rock. Pity.

43. 16.
No I'm not upset, just observant to the reasons behind the McCain VP choice. I also can't fathom how you got a "grouchy" sense from just viewing letters on my post.
----------------------------------------
You can be "observant" all you like but unless you actually know why Palin was picked, all your ideas are based on assumption.
-----------------------------
To also claim that Christianity unifies the Christian base shows me you're one of those religious rights I'm speaking of.
---------------------------------
That's simply circular reasoning goddess. If it were not for Christianity, there would be no Christiain base would there? You cannot have one without the other. Furthermore, the label of "religious rights" is used by you as a derogatory term for the beliefs held by many that are opposed to what those rights actually are simply because you don't agree with them.
-----------------------------------
And to assert "everyone" is a false statement since you can't possibly claim everyone is happy with the VP choice. My agnostic republican mother is for once in her life voting for Obama. Hmmmmm
------------------------------------
Yet you make the same false assertion in the paragraph above this one. Who claimed that "everyone" was happy with Palin as the VP choice. You alone render that statement false.
I hate to break it to you and your agnostic mother, but anyone who votes for Obama for President will be doing so for the first time! That hardly makes any point you were thoinking of making.
-------------------------
The matter is that there are secular republicans as well as Jewish republicans and to assert the latest religious fad into politics is not right.
-----------------------------
That's odd, because the "newest" religion inserted into politics is "global warming." You break it down and its a religion with Mother Earth at the center, her disciples running here and there spreading the tenets of the new order and advocating a "holy war" against the non-believers. I have no idea why you included secular Jews and Republicans, unless you somehow think that will bolster your arguement.
--------------------------------
When the fastest growing religion, Islam over populates the world will we be happy seeking Islamic representatives with Islamic political ideologies into office? What will Christians think then?
---------------------------------
Look at where the greatest number of Muslims are growing..Europe, Asia, Africa, etc. Why is this, does it have to do with the tenets of the religion or with unchecked breeding? Liberals like you always seem to equate the world with the United States. Until the Constitution is changed, we govern without a designated religion. There are already Muslims in our government so are you really saying that we will have no choice but to adhere to Sharia Law simply because we will have no choice? You had better hope not because then you will be property, you will be a muslim or die and conversion to the Muslim faith still makes you less than equal. Do you liberals ever think of the Law of Unintended Consequences or just take it on face value that everything will be Ok?
-----------------------------------
I also don't understand your name throwing of other Democrats. I don't subscribe or side to parties. I side with issues and policy.
-----------------------------------
Your post certainly didn't follow that policy or you would never have put anything about religion in it.
----------------
Sometimes Republicans have the better policies, sometimes the democrats do, but then I don't expect you to understand the interworking of government, especially since you claim all republicans and Christians are united.
---------------------------
Refer to my reply above. There is interworking in government, but its not to our benefit. There is no abrogation of the legislative branch by the Judiciary, yet it it is done all the time. Roe v. Wade the best example. There is also nothing in the Constitution that allows governmental entities to make law, but that's done all the time as well. The Executive Branch has the task of seeing that laws are followed, but the Legislative Branch cannot be investigated even in the case of clear violations of the law which is why you will never see the FBI investigate Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac and the Democrat role in it's failure to follow the law.
Then you make the claim all Christians are united. Where in hell did that come from and what does it have to do with the government?
I'm sorry, but you'll have to do better than that before you get taken seriously by me as I speak for myself, not others.
