31. "20. I just watched this video again and if anybody thinks it's authentic, then they're really stupid. "
Oh, the irony. On top of irony.
Makes the whole thing even funnier.

33. iynaroc02,
Do some research before you run your mouth. You think that because she inhereted something that shes less of a human being that other people? Despite what the Obamas would have you believe, they are some priveledged upper-class people as well. They didnt grow up poor and had no struggles of any kind. So effing what!
Since you asked,
Cindy McCains education includes B.A. of Arts in Education and a Masters in Special Education both fromt he University of Southern California. Shes also got published works including "Movement Therapy: A Possible Approach" and had a long teaching career working with Children with Disabilities. I have been in education for 12 years in addition to my 8 years in the Marine Corps so I know it takes a strong person to take that life on. So your implication that Cindy McCain is not strong or that Michelle Obama IS strong is inherently flawed. Michelle Obama grew up in a normal two parent, two income home with no financial struggles, went to Harvard and Princeton, and became a lawyer. WOW! real struggles there right?
the reality is that both of these women have led good lives however simple, and have had everything they have ever wanted. BOTH of them are outstanding citizens and are accomplished at what they do. So lets stop with the predjudice non-sense that Mrs McCain is some kind of rich, powerful stereotype who isnt anything but Mr McCains wife, and that Michelle OBama is a black, poor, product of the ghetto who had to over come some type of strife. Both of those are WRONG.

34. You totally missed the point iynaroc02. I thought it was cheesy, yet pretty funny.

35. Aw Mo,
I agree that Blayze should play Young McCain.
But as for the present day, I'd go with this McCain Campaign commercial:

Thanks!! If you get by St. Alfonso's, me and Eddie Varese will save you a seat!
BTW, for all of you with huskies named Giuseppe - that does not in any way make that little patch an Italian ice.

37. sigh.....people, it is a joke, satire. And it is damn funny. This is Mo doing what he does best. Long may he live!
A sense of humor is imperative in this world, especially in these times. A child would have known this was a joke. There are plenty of places to spout your beliefs, this isnt really the most relevant.

I dig what Blondie said...& also w/ the other guy who thought it was even funnier because some "challenged" folks thought it was intended as a real (genuine) video.
You can't fix stupid...
But duct tape helps.

41. That's what's wrong with the world today. People take sensitive issues for any race and make demeaning jokes for comedy. There should be a fine against taping something as preposterous as this. It is also harmful because as the old racial epitath goes, "They all look alike to me", someone who relishes that, might actually think this is Michelle Obama. It's clear to me that it isn't her. Poor performance by everyone who chose to participate in this. IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS! Find something tasteful to do. Go help the homeless and misfortunate.

42. I really enjoyed the background article on McCain. Just why this was not printed instead of the hogwash in our daily papers. I guess we have to depend on the internet for the complete truth. Thank you......loads.......

Great....
FIRST "unresponsible", & NOW "misfortunate".
I want 5 rolls of duct tape on my desk by 9 a.m. Monday.
'EPITATH' - WTF is THAT????
Epithet.
I am about to use 1, & it will (again) include the word 'stupid'.
Ignorance indeed appears to be *extremely* blissful, as of late.

44. Sherry,
I'm gritting my teeth in frustration as well, but still thankful we live in a democratic country where we can disagree on a public forum. At least we have that.
But, yeah...anyone who "might actually think this is Michelle Obama"...there's not much we can do for them.
And fines? Yikes! I'd hate to think where socio-political satire would end up.

Matilda:
Saying that Mo Rocca is promoting an old racial epitath (it's epithet btw) of "they all look alike" is like saying Twain using the N-word in Huck Finn was promoting that "racism is alright": you've missed the entire point of the piece.
So, yes, ignorance is not bliss indeed.
