NBC Chicago is reporting on the rash of Craigslist ads offering more than just money for tickets to the Obama rally in Grant Park.
Clearly Obama is arousing more than just political passion from these supporters. Is this a healthy trend for American democracy? Is a presidential candidate worth whoring oneself for? Whether or not one approves, one thing is certain: the sexualizing of Obama began early in this process.

You know, I was kind of wondering the same thing when I saw the original...
Why would Hillary be fully dressed in a pantsuit at three in the morning?
Why does she put on her makeup, lipstick, and glasses before answering the phone?
This sounds just as bad as George Bush continuing to read "The Pet Goat" while our country was being attacked on 9/11. What will happen when Hillary is President and she shows up late to an Emergency meeting of the Joint Chiefs because she had to apply her mascara first.
On a personal note, my own mother used to get all dressed up with makeup and do her hair just to go down to the 7-11 for some milk. Is this practice common among women? Couldn't Hillary just throw on a robe and answer the phone with no makeup, tired droopy eyes, and a nasty case of bed-head instead? Would she still be equipped to respond in this moment of crisis? Or would we be better off if Bill just took the call?
