1. What does the photo below tell you about this contest? (So where are the "Black Panthers for McCain"?)

Mo, since you're the only one willing to be photographed with the sign I'm led to believe:

A. That the Rednecks For Obama club at IU is about as popular as the Campus Co-Eds For Bobby Knight club was.

B. That you've been duped, Mo. Those weren't rednecks that painted that sign. For one thing, every word is spelled correctly. Also, the "liberal" use of red indicates some left-leaning art students were probably involved. Besides, that symbol on the sign looks a LOT like the one for the Confederate Railroad Crossing Signs Are Cool Coalition.

C. That those Rednecks For Obama are all hiding nearby. They're waiting for Obama to show so they can hear his finer points on gun control.

The Black Panthers, like most sixties radicals, all grew up and grew more conservative. They were educated and got jobs during the Reagan years ( like Bill Ayers.) They joined the establishment, and are now manning the phones for Panthers for Palin.

help us to conquer the menace of evil,

Accept, O Mother of Christ,
this cry laden with the sufferings of all individual human beings,
laden with the sufferings of whole societies.
Help us with the power of the Holy Spirit conquer all sin:
individual sin and the “sin of the world,”
sin in all its manifestations.
Let there be revealed once more in the history of the world
the infinite saving power of the redemption:
the power of merciful love.
May it put a stop to evil.
May it transform consciences.
May your Immaculate Heart reveal for all the light of hope.
