Pope Blames 'Society' For Pedophile Priests

So far in his celebrated visit to America, His Holiness has expressed shame and regret for the massive sex abuse scandal and the way it was handled. But he also said it was sort of America's own fault.

According to Breitbart: ...He urged efforts "to address the sin of abuse within the wider context of sexual mores" as well as a reassessment of "the values underpinning society."

"What does it mean to speak of child protection when pornography and violence can be viewed in so many homes through media widely available today?" the pontiff said on the first full day of his US visit.

Who is Trying to Prevent Our Troops From Geting Porn?

Our troops are risking their lives to in Iraq and Afghanistan and there are a bunch of nosy do-gooders who are trying to prevent them from seeing any porn. This is a disgrace. Trying to keep porn away from the troops is un-American. See who the culprits are here:

I thought these people were pretending they supported the troops. If I was a soldier going overseas, I would hate these people more than anyone else. Get out of our lives, man. And leave our troops alone!

Times Reporter Wrecked By Crusade To Save Child Porn Star

A couple of years ago, New York Times business reporter Kurt Eichenwald stumbled upon a porn site run by an underage boy named Justin Berry and became obsessed with saving him. New York magazine this week has a really sad story by David France about how the journalist's (surprisingly successful) crusade to save the boy basically ruined his own career.

It's a really dicey situation. On one hand, Eichenwald is a hero for getting this boy out of the kiddie-porn world. On the other hand, his methods were pretty sketchy. To win the boy's support, Eichenwald posed as a rabid fan, sent him more than $2,000 and arranged a meeting.

People Who Get Paid to Watch Porn

This is your taxpayer money hard at work. And who's cashing in? Conservative "watchdog" groups. Of course! In the video below, we explain why these conservatives are getting paid with your money to watch porn all day long.

This is so stupid and useless. And these guys complain about big government. Here they are wasting your money while at the same time intruding into people's personal lives. It's big government all around.

You can read more about this story and the man supporting it, Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) in this article.

If you ask me, this is all a ruse for a couple of horny guys to watch porn day and night. I wonder if they take shifts. I feel terrible for their cleaning lady. I wouldn't touch that computer with a ten foot pole.

Research Findings from the Red Light District

I'm in Amsterdam today, and last night my wife and I conducted an anthropological visit to the Red Light District. (Wow, the things we have to do to advance research and scholarship.) Amsterdam's adult section makes Las Vegas look tame. The pornography shops have special sections with categories like "orgy" and "animals" and "grannies" and "watersports." There were also categories were so exotic I'm going to have to look them up. The evening acts feature not erotic films but rather "live sex acts." A fellow was standing outside one of the theaters, inviting people to come in. "Three on one action," he called out. "Fifty euros, three free drinks." The most striking visual aspect of the Red Light District is probably the windows. You feel like you're walking down Fifth Avenue in New York, except that in the windows you don't see Gucci bags and Hermes scarves. You see prostitutes. There are the fat ones and the skinny ones and the Eastern European ones and the Asian ones and the old ones and the "barely legal" ones. One woman was bent over touching her toes, while her rear end--apparently her special feature--protruded in the window.
