Yesterday Michael Moore spoke with Wolf Blitzer and got pretty mad with a report the Sanjay Gupta compiled about the film SiCKO. Tonight Micheal Moore and Gupta got together and debated on the Larry King Live program.

Here it is in three parts. As always feel free to visit Michael Moore's website as he is a big fan of citing the sources of what he claims.

Michael Moore gets incredibly upset with Wolf Blitzer and CNN about a report compiled by Sanjay Gupta.
This inspired a blog post by Michael Moore titled: CNN vs The Facts. (Here's an additional article from CNN.)
Below is Moore pumping his fist at main stream media.

Minor Hat tip to Blitzer... for letting Moore rant. Vote up this clip if you enjoyed it.
Possibly the best plea to the Main Stream Media since Jon Stewart went on Crossfire.

I've posted a bit recently about Micheal Moore's new documentary "SiCKO." It's already available on the web, and Micheal Moore encourages sharing.

Here is Micheal Moore's recent interview with Jon Stewart. Moore was suppose to be on Larry King but he got bumped for Paris Hilton. Jon Stewart is currently 2nd in the Champions Edition of Tag Series, show him some support and give him a vote.

Health Care Nightmares

First, allow me to apologize for posting another Michael Moore clip. I am driven by the high tides of Social Media and currently Michael Moore is peaking. Speaking of Social Media the clip to your left is one that Moore posted on Youtube, asking Americans to submit their "Health Care Horror Stories".

I have already seen SiCKO and it blew my mind. I knew Americans had to pay for health care, I just had no idea how expensive it was. No matter what country you're from everybody runs into medical troubles at some point in their life. I had no idea your health care industry can make fortunes thanks to other peoples misfortunes. Myself, I broke my arm once on Xmas eve when I was a young kid. In hindsight I am happy that my parents didn't have to open up their wallet to pay for my injury. Why is the USA the only western country that chooses not to have Universal Health Care? From what I understand America is afraid of the word "Socialized". Up here in Canada we look at it this way... Universal Health Care simply means that every Canadian collectively takes care of each other. All I have ever had to sacrifice is a couple bucks of my paycheck each month. Peace of Mind is Priceless.

One example of a youtuber taking advantage of this project was Clayton Redfield. He submitted this clip to Micheal Moore's Youtube Sicko project. You can learn about his nightmare and success story in the clip below. In a nutshell Clayton received a bill for $66,000 after he had heart surgery, after posting the video to your left, his insurance lowered the bill to $500. Could this be a sign of scrambling insurance companies? Maybe? So take advantage and upload your own video to the project.

It's the start of the weekend and you might find yourself with an hour to burn. For those who are hyped up for Micheal Moore's film, (which will be released on the 29th of June) you can get warmed up by watching the documentary "Big Bucks, Bug Pharma" which is about the pharmaceutical industry.

You can also waste 2.3 seconds by voting for The Health Tag Archive in this weeks Tag Series.

Half Hour News Hour - I Don't Get It

I don't have a television but from what I understand, Fox News Channel is a "Cable News Network." They report and broadcast current events, delivered and presented by credential-laced journalists. FNC is recognized in the mainstream as a legitimate news network. I also am not wrong by saying it's plugged in everywhere: banks, airports, restaurants etc. It's part the current American culture.

I think most cable news programming is silly. Out of all of them, I have stumbled into far more zany FNC clips online. But, the market has spoken: FNC gets big ratings.

I find it bizarre, though, that the same news station that relays critical information to large portions of the American population, would air such a blatant display of bias. Before you jump on me, hear me out. The 1/2 News Hour was created to be a conservative version of the Daily Show. And thus they already admit they are bias. The kicker is, and please take a moment and think about this, TDS is on the"Comedy Network"... FNC is a "News Network," can you see how this begins to appear odd?

Quote: Guardian UK - Fox launches rightwing satire show - Feb 17/07
The attempts at humor aren't helped by an intrusive laughter track and the presence of a real news ticker at the bottom of the screen. Fox News is, after all, a news channel
Flip on FNC at the wrong time and you might catch a segment of the 1/2 News Hour and you may start to take the comedy show as real news. I watched one clip and I got angry at pregnant women. In another I laughed at the thought of forcing people to convert religions? I didn't really, but the only point I have is that News Channels broadcasting this type of "comedy" just doesn't seem right?

Anyway, here is the clip that popped up in my RSS that inspired this post. I thought Sean Hannity was a news man, not a comedian. Here is his sketch of conservative American comedy, the topic, Michael Moore's new film Sicko. Let's observe.
