Much Love to All The Readers of the News Bloggers

The Young Turks have appreciated the opportunity to blog at AOL. It has drawn to a close now. We have also appreciated all the feedback we got from the readers, even the ones who didn't have a lot of positive things to say (yes, we tried to read as many of the comments as we could).

Anytime someone takes the time to read our posts or watch our videos, whether we agree or disagree, we are grateful for their time and consideration. I don't just say that because it seems the polite thing to say, I'm a corny guy, I actually believe it.

You can follow The Young Turks in a couple of different ways now. You can always watch the whole show and read all of our blogs on our website -- www.theyoungturks.com. You can also watch our short daily news and entertainment clips on our You Tube Channel. And you can also listen to our show on XM 167 on satellite radio.

Until we meet again ...

YouTube Divorcee Loses Case

Back when the above video started circulating, we all pretty much agreed that the YouTube divorcee seemed out of her mind. Well, the judge in her case agrees, and has found her guilty of cruel and inhuman treatment. He called the video: "a calculated and callous campaign to embarrass and humiliate her husband."

Now she has to make do with what she was due according to the prenup, which means she has to clear out of their fancy apartment. In this era of reality-TV malice, isn't it refreshing when emotional cruelty isn't rewarded?

'YouTube Divorce' Hits Good Morning America

Tricia Walsh Smith made a YouTube video complaining about her husband's attempt to throw her out of their apartment (and about their sex life, among other things). It got three million viewers and has now scored her an interview on Good Morning America.

On the show, she explains her reason for posting the video: "I wanted attention to my plight . . . basically for me it was a life or death situation." She paints herself as the most wronged woman in history, saying, "What was I going to do? Go live in the park?" and "I did it for survival," and "I'm hurt and nobody cared!"

Youtube Mashup that looks like it could be used as a trailer for the award winning documentary Seoul Train. Here is an actual clip from Seoul Train where refugees storm an embassy gate, producing an incredible image.

In case you missed it last Sunday was Mothers Day. Jon Stewart jokingly reports on the four candidates that are bad sons. I have to correct Jon here turns out McCain's 95 year old mother was with him during his interview.
All kidding aside this is a great opportunity for you to learn about some of the Presidential Candidates.

Soldiers denied access to YouTube - Press Association

Gen Bell said: "This recreational traffic impacts our official DoD network and bandwidth ability, while posing a significant operational security challenge".

I subscribe to George Stroumboulopoulos youtube channel and today while perusing his videos from his CBC program "The Hour". I came across this interview with Myspace.com creator Tom Anderson. My brows raised when I heard that Myspace along with a handful of other websites were being censored to anybody using department of defence computers, it appears they have stressed their bandwidth? The Young Turks asked "What Could $456 Billion buy?"... I would say maybe a better computer system, one that functions better then my cheap laptop.

The Search Engine Journal gives a list of all the sites that were banned. I couldn't help but to notice All the sites that are banned have internet twins, it's like banning your soldiers from drinking coke but telling them Pepsi is OK.

Twins - Banned ---> Not Banned
So if your scratching your head about what that decision will accomplish in the end, I'm sure your not alone. This next story might make you scratch your head even more. My friend Jon here will explain.

Don't like Jon? Here is a BBC article from last week. So in the same way that I subscribe to "The Hour" , you can subscribe to a channel presented by the American Military. it's gotten over 3,000 subscribers in just over a week.

Here is one of the Iraq war scenes your military doesn't want your military to watch. As presented by MNF Iraq.
Multi-National Force - Iraq established this YouTube channel to give viewers around the world a "boots on the ground" perspective of Operation Iraqi Freedom from those who are fighting it.
