The excavation of a rural Missouri property will continue today, and police believe they may find bodies and more disturbing evidence that children were sexually abused there. An Arkansas man is found guilty of capital murder in the death of a television anchorwoman. Anne Pressly was attacked in her home on Oct. 20, 2008. She was beaten so badly that her face was shattered. A jury must now decide whether 29-year-old Curtis Lavelle Vance should be executed or spend the rest of his life in prison.

A pancake-craving post on Facebook saved a New York teen from a robbery charge. Rodney Bradford, 19, had been arrested for the crime. But his attorney noted that Bradford had posted a comment about breakfast on the social media site at the time the robbery occurred, and the teen was later released.
