Hillary Hits Obama for Kindergarten Essay
I knew Hillary was going to take the gloves off but this is ridiculous!
via James Taranto at the WSJ, a Clinton press release:
At an event in Boston this evening, Senator Obama claimed for the second time today that he is "not running to fulfill some long held plans" to be elected President, contradicting statements his friends, family, staff and teachers have all made about him. . . .
In third grade, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled 'I Want To Be a President.' His third grade teacher: Fermina Katarina Sinaga "asked her class to write an essay titled 'My dream: What I want to be in the future.' Senator Obama wrote 'I want to be a President,' she said." [The Los Angeles Times, 3/15/07]
And then there's the Kindergarten reference.
In kindergarten, Senator Obama wrote an essay titled 'I Want to Become President.' "Iis Darmawan, 63, Senator Obama's kindergarten teacher, remembers him as an exceptionally tall and curly haired child who quickly picked up the local language and had sharp math skills. He wrote an essay titled, 'I Want To Become President,' the teacher said." [AP, 1/25/07]
Now, those of you out there reading this, raise your hands if you've ever written an essay on becoming president when you were a tyke. I'm speculating safely that a large fraction of you are raising your hands. And if you have, shame on you if you ever run for president while claiming that this is a new direction!
Because obviously, you're third grade essay laid bare your whole diabolical plan from the beginning! And Hillary has your number. This is beyond sad, this is opposition research out of control with no context or regulation. And if Hillary is using this now, I have to believe that she has nothing on Obama. If she had something good she was saving for later, why even mess with this?
Not to mention that it also underscores the Hillary Clinton narrative as ruthless and unprincipled. Obama wins this one, easily.
UPDATE: The Jawa Report finds a long lost evidence of Obama's wild partying days. Ha!

Why someone would pull something like that out is childish, especially for a Presidential Candidate
dfhughes1:28AMDec 4th 2007
Hillary is running scared and turning mean. Using operatives to dig up dirt on people who stand in your way was a Bill and Hillary trick for years and now they go back to Obma's kindergarden years to question his truthfulness. Not unexpected from a Clinton, but how desperate can they get. I'm a democrat who is tired of the past and past directions and am pulling for a new path to tommorow. I've had as much of both Clinton's as I can stand and the same for the Whole Bush family. These power hungry, self serving political creatures need to dissappear from the scene and young people with honest and decent dreams need to lead America back to its greatness.

no way is this broad going to get there, she is starting to break down and why do so many people like that jerk- off, skirt chasing husband of hers, i mean, not only did he lie under oath, but he did, how many other women in the white house? this guy would do a snake if someone would hold his head.
the only reason so many black women like that goofy wife of his, is because they do not have any morals either,i mean, most just want free hand outs and most of their kids or born out of wed-lock. hey j. jackson what do you think?

I thought it was supposed to be one of the great things about our country that any little boy could dream of wanting to become the president when he grew up. Well, I guess now little kids can dream of growing up to marry someone who can make them president.

SENATOR HILLARY CLINTON IS GOING TO MAKE A GREAT PRESIDENT.
R A P1:28PMDec 4th 2007
I want my son to be like Obama.
The president for all the people.
Obama is a hero because of what he
is doing to bring people together.
People want Change .
Obama is bringing the human race together.
That's the human race as a whole. So I'm going with Obama for president and John Edwards for VP.
Barack Obama is the Front-runner in Iowa
BUT Hillary Clinton want to talk about Kindergarten.
No Mom or Dad would attack Barack Obama for telling his kindergarten teacher he wanted to be president
We can not attack children for their rights to desire
change for the better.
Obama!

MR. CLARK (THE CLINTON DIRTY OPS IS NOT KO'd)
Mr. Clark; "As you know I favor Sen. Clinton for President, but this IS pathetic. If she is worried about poll numbers in Iowa, this isn't going to help at all."
@@@ Well Mr. Clark for a long time I have believed that you are not only in favor of a Clinton Coronation but in fact are part of the Hillary Rodham-Clinton, Attack Team of Phil Singer, Patti Solis-Doyle, Mark Penn and Marcy, Howard Wolfson, Lennie Davis, and Bill Press, so your admission that you want a Clinton Cornation come's with little suprise. And, playing down negative Clinton Poll numbers as pathetic is also not a suprise. But, it appears that the entire Clinton Attack Machine the Push-Polling, Op-Po's, Dirt Digging, Mud Slinging, Dirty Trick's bunch of Snakes are crawling into IOWA. When (66%) of your own party doesn't want a Coronation, Hillary Rodham-Clinton, has to spend a lot of money to buy her coronation.
Mr. Clark; "So, why is Sen. Clinton acting so infantile? Sorry, no positive spin on this one...well, not from me anyhow."
@@@ Hillary Rodham-Clinton is a Park Ridge spoiled rich Which Bee Itch, Hillary is A-Typical of that bunch. Hillary looks down at anyone not in the non click bunch. Every woman and man has met her at one time or another. Hillary is that first wife that (50%)fifty percent of men were glad to get rid of even at court cost and alimony, and considered it money well spent. Hillary was the Park Ridge Which Bee Itch who went into the inner city of Chicago, but don't let (THEM) come into Park Ridge to the Rodham home, or into Park Ridge period. Hillary is the one who stole a girls boyfriend, with a smiling face, and the knife in the back, rumor spreading Which Bee Itch, that every non-click girl remembers. Why is Hillay acting so infantile? A-Typical Park Ridge Type, throw a temper tantrum when they don't get what they want. No wonder Bill prefers "TRAILOR PARK TRASH"
Very Respectfully,
D. L. Graham

Someday my grandchildren will ask me ***What did you DO that was different??
And as I lower my head and let the white hair down.....I will dig deep in my
Memory and slowly raise my fragile head again..... Look at them all and with a
low and trembling voice.....say... *Your grandparents were the generation that
Made HISTORY.... Our generation elected the very first BLACK PRESIDENT
IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA....

ALIAS ROBERT...
HEY MR,DEL 4:27 PM DEC. 4th
YOU MIGHT HAVE TO EXPLAIN TO YOUR GRANDCHILDREN WHY YOU HELPED PUT A MAN INTO THE WHITE HOUSE THAT TOOK HIS OATH ON THE KORAN , PUT ON A MUSLIM SKULL CAP AND BEGAN GROWING HIS OSAMA BIN LADEN BEARD !
WAKE UP ! !
YP10:43AMDec 20th 2007
Okay the 'Poolguy' and 'The Kid' must be products of a public Texas school education. Obama is not muslim, he's a Christian..but first and foremost he's human. Get your facts straight. His mother is white and his dad is african(and practiced the muslim religion). Obama was raised by his mother and he is Christian.
Also, contrary to what 'the kid' thinks, most black women don't have kids out of wedlock, and according to stats there are more whites on welfare than blacks in the US. Stop sterotyping, it shows your ignorance!

Dave,
As you know I favor Sen. Clinton for President, but this IS pathetic. If she is worried about poll numbers in Iowa, this isn't going to help at all.
I did read an interesting piece:
'Fluidity' of Democratic Campaign Means All Bets Are Off
Wednesday, November 28, 2007
By Susan Estrich
(I believe it is FOX NEWS)...quote as follows:
"The conventional wisdom is that Iowa is the four-letter word for Demcrats. But that’s only partly true. Iowa picks losers. New Hampshire picks winners. Iowa winnows down the candidates. Hillary can lose Iowa and be just fine, if she turns around -- almost literally, in just five days -- and wins New Hampshire. But if she loses them both, we’re in for a marathon."
So, why is Sen. Clinton acting so infantile? Sorry, no positive spin on this one...well, not from me anyhow.
Sincerely and respectfully,
Mr. Clark
