The Return of Alan Keyes
You know who Alan Keyes is? He's like the college sophomore who just read Ayn Rand and thinks he's discovered the the philosopher's stone. Check this out:

Alan Keyes is little more than a right wing demagogue. This man ran against Barack Obama in 2004 for the Illinois Senate Seat (at the last minute). Some of the things he said in that debate were scary and yet comical. I believe Keyes said something to the effect of if Jesus came back to earth he would not vote for Barack Obama. Other wonderful statements were blathering on about the blood of Jesus this and that, Jesus on the cross, on and on...
Even the leader of the REPUBLICAN party in Illnois refused to endorse Keyes. Needless to say, Obama beat him in a landslide.
I mean, if the guy wants to be a preacher, do so. Maybe Jerry Falwell's Liberty University needs a new president since his death.

This guy made Ron Paul look like Einstein yesterday and that is a real feat . However, I had no idea who he was or why he was there- still don’t know why he was there. The Iowa debate has specific rules and one of those rules is that you must have a certain percentage in the polls. I saw yesterday that another stipulation is having a campaign headquarters. Keyes meets neither stipulation. Yet, he was there. Today…. I see that two of the Dem. candidates were disqualified by the same stipulations listed above. ?????????? So, I think my original question is trumped by why was Keyes there.
