I THINK IT IS TIME THAT THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY HAVE A GOOD REVIEW OF THE HISTORY OF THIS COUNTRY!
START WITH THE FIRST AMENDMENT:
WE ARE TO HAVE FREEDOM "FROM" RELIGION AND WELL AS FREEDOM "OF" RELIGION AND THE SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE IS IMPORTANT.
LOOK AT WHAT FAITH-BASED GOVERNMENTS IN OTHER COUNTRIES DEAL WITH? IT IS NOT DEMOCRACY!
DO YOU WANT A WOMAN FORCED TO HAVE CHILDREN IF SHE DOESN'T WANT THEM OR SHE WOULD DIE HAVING THEM?
DO YOU WANT WOMEN TO GO AROUND COVERED FROM HEAD TO TOE IN A HOT BLACK BURQA ALL SUMMER?
SOME OF THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY ARE GOING TO THE POLLS AND VOTING BLINDLY OR UNDER THE ASSUMPTION OF WHAT OTHERS HAVE TOLD THEM IS CORRECT!
LET ME ENLIGHTEN YOU!
WHEN PEOPLE START IN ON THE 'UNDER GOD' IN OUR PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
THIS WAS ADDED BY A BILL ENACTED BY CONGRESS BACK IN 1953 AND ALL OF US WHO WENT TO SCHOOL UNTIL 1953 SAID THAT SAME PLEDGE AND WE WERE GOOD PEOPLE.
AS FOR "IN GOD WE TRUST" ON OUR CURRENCY:
IT HAS NOT ALWAYS BEEN THERE!
ABRAHAM LINCOLN HAD IT PUT ON OUR CURRENCY TO REMEMBER THE CIVIL WAR THAT TORE THIS COUNTRY APART.
THIS COUNTRY WAS NOT FOUNDED ON CHRISTIANITY:
IT WAS FOUNDED BASED ON THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION AND WE WERE FIGHTING TO BE REPRESENTED IN THE ENGLISH PARLIAMENT AND KING GEORGE AND HIS MINIONS WOULDN'T HEAR OF IT!
AND DON'T BRING UP THE PILGRIMS!
THEY LEFT ENGLAND AS SEPARATISTS BECAUSE THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND FORBADE THEM TO WORSHIP AS THEY WISHED.
THEY DIDN'T WANT TO FOLLOW THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND'S TEACHINGS, JUST AS THE PEOPLE OF THE PROTESTANT REFORMATION FELT THEY DID NOT WANT TO FOLLOW THE TEACHINGS OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!
WHEN THE RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS ENDORSE SPECIFIC CANDIDATES, THEY ARE IN CLEAR VIOLATION OF THEIR NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUS!
AND DON'T FORGET, THIRTY YEARS AGO, THE CATHOLIC CHURCH QUIETLY ADMITTED THAT POPE GREGORY BACK IN THE 6TH CENTURY MISINTERPRETED THE GOSPEL OF LUKE AND MARY MAGDALENE WAS NOT A PROSTITUTE!

I'm only voting twice. Once for Dr. Ron Paul in the primaries, and once for the Presidency.
B/T/W I'm a 33 year old whose been a business manager for the last 7 years, and have never voted before because no other canidate ever spoke to my interests in a way that I can understand and appreciate.
Ron Paul is about an ideal of freedom. That is the ideal of our great nation and it's constitution.
I finally feel the way I've wanted to about my country. These truths are self evident.
Long live the Republic of the United States of America! Vote Ron Paul.

For those who think one of the Democrats are "anti-war" I hope you remember when they were all asked if they could promise to bring home all the troops from Iraq by the end of their first term. None except for Richardson and Kucinich made the promise.
Hillary, Obama, Edwards and the rest of them would still keep our troops all over the world, send our sons into UN wars and wars that have no value relative to our national security.
They're not anti-war. They're just anto Bush/Republican war.
Dems were in power during WWI, WWI, Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, Columbia, Albania and others. Wake up and smell freedom. Vote Ron Paul.

I agree with Patrick; the fact that McCain is doing the best of any Republican against the Democrats is an important factor.

Im laughing at you guys who believe that Obama/Clinton/McCain are all different and have different agendas. If anyone of these three make it into office it will be Bush administration #3 I can promise you that. Both Bush Sr./Jr. are members of the Council on Foreign Relations, the founding/high up members of that institution wrote the agenda that both Bush' followed.
I bet you would be surprised to learn the McCain,Clinton(s),Obama are all members of that group, in order to join you have to pledge your willingness to only follow it's agenda. So they all have the same common agenda, hence they are all the same and all have that same agenda in common. Not to mention the same agenda they promised to follow is the same agenda that both Bushs followed. Good luck with your major media approved candidates, you will all pay in some way for supporting them, whether it is poverty, homelessness or a further loss of your freedoms.
Whether you know it or not Ron Paul still stands a chance with the convention, McCain believe it or not does not really have as much support as the major media will have you believe, you can even see online how he's not very popular, whether it is very low approval on his online videos, whether it is very low amount of people watching his videos, or how poorly those few viewers who did watch them rated it, his so called major media perpetuated popularity is just not translating and you will see that at the republican convention. Word to the wise, do not support a traitor, support a person who will remain true to America and it's founders' principles.
