Clinton Loans Her Campaign $5M
As I noted a couple of days ago, Hillary Clinton raised $13.5 million dollars in January. Barack Obama took in $32 million. Today, we have learned that to stay competitive on Super Tuesday, the Clintons personally loaned an additional $5 million to her campaign. With a net worth of upwards of $35 million, the former first-family may not be so pinched by the personal loan. Then again, Barack Obama is said to be on pace to raise another $30 million in February, and that estimate was calculated before his strong Super Tuesday showing. Since then, he has raised nearly $8 million.
In case you're wondering, the Obama's net worth is estimated at $1.3 million. So where is all his campaign money coming from?
Almost all of Obama's haul--$28 million [in January]--came from small donors giving small sums online, which means he still has resources to tap. Clinton, in contrast, has a smaller pool of donors, many of whom have already reached the legal limit of what they are allowed to give, meaning she will have to reach out to new sources for funds.
But hey, on the bright side for Hillary, there's still another $30 million in the Clinton bank account.

I am a woman and have tried to give Hillary the benefit of the doubt but she continues to evidence how inexperience she actually is. The campaign just started less than a year ago and here is what I see:
She had a huge lead and head start months ago (before anyone knew exactly who Obama was) and allowed an inexperienced opponent (Obama) to close in and steal her lead in within 2-3 months.
She allowed an inexperienced candidate come onto her turf (Mass, New York, New Jersey, California, etc) and get almost half of her votes and many of her delegates.
She had contributions from big insurance companies and is now needing a "payday loan" to complete her mission while the inexperienced candidate managed his campaign successfully and wealthily without big corporate donations.
She allowed herself to sit in front of live T.V. and say she did not know she was authorizing war when the document she was voting on was entitled, "Authorization to Use Force". That showed her to be inexperienced lacking in judgement.
She allowed the inexperience candidate to win states that should have been hers and in many of those states (which is predominantly white) she could not get almost half of his votes or delegates like he has been able to do in hers.
She had 8 years WHILE HER HUSBAND WAS PRESIDENT and could not get her health care policy passed.
She has cried twice during this very touch campaign when no other candidate (Democratic or Republic) has cried. How is she going to handle, dealing with foreign leaders who do not view women as equal? Is she going to cry.
She continues to embark on missions blindly without charting her course and end up repeatedly making costly mistakes. But she is the most experience?
Meanwhile, she inadvertently is making her opponent look like he has the experience and better management skills. I reiterate, I am a woman but I do know business and if Donald Trump had to evaluate her performance, her input, her outputs, her expenditure, and her lack of profit in the last 8 months he would probably say, "YOU'RE FIRED".

BKLYNBROAD Your #13 states of Obama versus Hillary's 9 is correct, however let's put into play that one of his states (Alaska) only had 400 voters. Idaho only had 19,000 North Dakota only had 17,000, etc. Hillary won New York, which had $2 M voters. Cafif, which had $3M voters and on and on. Let's get our perspectives in line before spouting. Sometimes comparing aapples to oranges may work for Obama but let's tell it as it is called.

As an African American man, I am very proud of Barack Obama, but I am still voting for Hillary. Its not about what color you are or how well you are able to inspire people, its about the nuts and bolts - having necessary experience and connections to create a plan for change and follow through on it. Who better for the job, than Hillary? Yes, Obama has attracted record numbers of young voters and suburban type white Americans, but the young don't know anything about having to pay a quarter of your salary in taxes and the suburbanites are usually well to do anyway. Its the people in the middle class who are suffering now and if anyone can remember the Clinton Administration in the 90's it was a pretty prosperous period for all of us. I think that Hillary needs the opportunity to clean up the mess we are in and once that has been accomplished I more than welcome Obama in 2012 or 2016. I'm not a traitor, I am a realist. Now is not the time to create a false sense of hope when the reality is that it may get worse before it gets better. I think that if you really want to know the type of twisted strategies going on in this election period, listen to radio and talk shows that you wouldn't normally listen to. Just the other morning I tuned into a republican/conservative radio station and they urged all white americans, epecially men, to vote for Barack Obama, not because they feel he is the best person for the job, but to prevent Hillary from getting the nomination and going against McCain; its a pretty f'ed up idea but it may be an effective strategy to ensure that the republicans reign terror upon us for another 4 years.
If you read all of this and want to help Hillary, make a contribution on her web site, you can make a contribution as small as $10. www.hillaryclinton.com

Sadly when Obama gets the Democratic endorsment McCain is the one to win. I for one will not vote for Obama and I think many people think like me. i would vote for Hillary however. This isn't about race for me but about the Muslim factor.

All we need is Hillary in the white house so Bill can get another chance at those young interns again. I would vote for a women for President, as soon as we have won worth a DAMN in the running. Black, White, green or orange, Male or Female, who cares; it's what can they do for America that matters.

I can't believe how blinded some people can be. Hillary Clinton is a crook ... have you all forgotten the "Whitewater scandal"? What difference does religious affiliation make? That is what our constitution guarantees doesn't it? Freedom of religion? Give the poor guy a break ... at least he is honest.

Hillary has my support. I find the other candidate to be overly confident and riding too high on the enthusiam of his "fans". Its an election on issues that will effect the entire world. I keep hearing the word CHANGE from the Obama camp. What change are we talking about? Obviously Hillary is offering "change" as compared to the current administration as well. But the Obama camp is just trying to push the slogan over and over to get the sheep to line up behind him.
NoBS8:42AMFeb 7th 2008
I urge everyone to think carefully and do their research. This is not a ball game. We can't just pick a team and rah rah rah. This could effect every aspect of your life and everyone in the world. Yes, its that serious. Question question question everything you hear. Don't get caught up in slogans and cheering. Tune that out and do your research.

I would never vote for someone that is an admitted cocaine user( Obama)! This Texan will cast his vote for Hillary Clinton!!!!!!!!!
dlk8:55AMFeb 7th 2008
Go Hillary! I support you and your efforts. I just sent the Clinton campaign money because I believe, like Hillary that we need her focus on the issues, her visions for the country, and her savvy ability and dedication to get the job done, no matter the personal cost.
michael dane9:09AMFeb 7th 2008
Clinton talks about her experience but she's got hardly any more experience than Obanma. You can't count her experience as first lady as political experience. Before that she was on the Walmart Board because her husband got her there. Obama will bring a fresh new government and she will bring Bill along with her to help run it. Vote for Obama if you want change, not another Clinton.

to "Nana" you say your are one of the intelligent ones
but your spelling sure tells me different and the hate you spew from your own personal feelings tells me that you need help too. you may feel this way but the voters have made their choice and it is not the way you want them to vote. It seems your in the minority at this point and hopefully you will stay that way. Maybe you should crawl back under the rock you crawled out of and stay there. This world can do without you and your kind.

I think Hillary's "loan" to herself is a scam, intended to get people to feel sorry for her. What a crock!! Supposedly, she's already paid herself back. Really committed to her cause, she is, especially with a bank balance of 35 million. And where did the money come from? China? Some Arab country? The fact that others are asking if the loan was just a ploy speakes vo;lumes about the Clintons. They do nothing by accident.

Just in case you need more reasons to not vote for Hillary
Subject: History lesson
** We need to think about the logic of those who would consider, even for a moment, bringing anyone associated with the Clintons back into the White House-----especially Hillary.***
** ** ** **Hillary Clinton** has been telling America that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her record,' which she says includes her eight years in the **White House** as First Lady - or "co-president" - and her seven years in the Senate.** ** ** ** Here is a reminder of what that record includes:***
** * As First Lady, Hillary assumed authority over Health Care Reform, process that cost the taxpayers over $13 million. She told both Bill Bradley and Pat Moynahan, key votes needed to pass her legislation, that she would 'demonize' anyone who opposed it. But it was opposed; she couldn't even get it to a vote in a Congress controlled by her own party. (And in the next election, her party lost control of both the House and Senate.)***
** ** ** * Hillary assumed authority over selecting a female Attorney General. Her first two recommendations (Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood) were forced to withdraw their names from consideration, and then she chose Janet Reno. **Janet Reno** has since been described by Bill himself as 'my worst mistake.'**
** ** ** * Hillary recommended Lani Guanier for head of the Civil Rights Commission. When Guanier's radical views became known, her name had to be
withdrawn.**
** ** ** * Hillary recommended her former law partners, Web Hubbell, Vince Foster, and **William Kennedy** for positions in the Justice Department,
White House staff, and the Treasury, respectively. Hubbell was later imprisoned, Foster allegedly committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to
resign.**
** ** ** * Hillary also recommended a close friend of the Clintons, Craig Livingstone, for the position of director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of up to 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, both Hillary and her husband denied knowing him. (FBI
agent Dennis Sculimbrene confirmed in a **Senate Judiciary Committee** in 1996 both the drug use and Hillary' s involvement in hiring Livingstone. After that, the **FBI** closed its White House Liaison Office, after serving seven presidents for over thirty years.)**
** ** ** * In order to open 'slots' in the **White House** for her friends the Harry Thomasons (to whom millions of dollars in travel contracts could be awarded), Hillary had the entire staff of the White House Travel Office fired; they were reported to the **FBI** for gross mismanagement' and their reputations ruined. After a thirty-month investigation, only one, Billy Dale, was charged with a crime - mixing personal money with White House funds when he cashed checks. The jury acquitted him in less than two hours.**
** ** ** * Another of Hillary's assumed duties was directing the "bimbo eruption squad' and scandal defense:** **---- She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit.** **---- She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the
appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.**
** ** ** ---- Then they had to settle with Paula Jones after all.**
** ** ** ---- And Bill lost his law license for lying to the grand jury***
** ---- And Bill was impeached by the House.**
** ---- And Hillary almost got herself indicted for perjury and obstruction of justice. She avoided it mostly because she repeated, 'I do not recall,' 'I have no recollection,' and 'I don't know' 56 times
under oath.***
** ** ** * Hillary accepted the traditional First Lady's role of decorator of the White House at **Christmas**, but in a unique Hillary way. In 1994,
for example, the First Lady's Tree in the Blue Room (the focal point each year) was decorated with drug paraphernalia, sex toys, and pornographic ornaments, all personally approved by Hillary as the invited artists' depictions of the theme, 'The Twelve Days of Christmas.'**
** ** ** * Hillary wrote 'It Takes a Village,' demonstrating her Socialist viewpoint.**
** ** ** * Hillary decided to seek election to the Senate in a state where she had never lived. Her husband pardoned FALN terrorists in order to get
Latino support and the New Square Hassidim to get Jewish support.**
** ** ** * Hillary also had Bill pardon her brother's clients, for a small fee, to get financial support.**
** ** ** * Then Hillary left the **White House**, but later had to return $200,000 in **White House** furniture, china, and artwork she had stolen.**
** ** ** * In the campaign for the Senate, Hillary played the "gender card" by portraying her opponent (Lazio) as a bully picking on a poor woman.**
** ** ** * Hillary's husband further protected her by asking the National Archives to withhold from the public until 2012 many records of their time in the **White House**, including much of Hillary's correspondence and her calendars. (There are ongoing lawsuits to force the release of those records.)**
** ** ** * As a Senator from **New York**, Hillary has passed no major legislation. She has deferred to the senior Senator (Schumer) to tend to the needs of New Yorkers, even on the hot issue of medical problems of workers involved in the cleanup of **Ground Zero** after 9/11.**
** ** ** * Hillary's one notable vote, supporting the plan to invade **Iraq**, she has since disavowed.**
** ** ** Quite a resume, isn't it? Sounds more like an organized crime family.***

NANA is typical of the democratic base (sadly). First to her argument that white people will not vote for a black man....in every race that Obama has run in, he has won over much of the white democratic community. In fact, as we saw in Super Tuesday, Obama significantly outperformed Hillary in his popularity among white men.
I'd also like to say that NANA is typical in thought and strategy....adding Obama's middle name to try and scare other ignorant bandwagon readers. How sad and pathetic. Try reading a book every now and then.
But,NANA, I guess you are right....when looking for someone to lead our nation in times like these, we shouldn't focus on character. We shouldn't focus on those that started with nothing and built their lives up from ground zero...no, we should just look towards people that have been married to people that have been successful, right? Forget about character....we need someone that will sell us all out if it wins her 1 more vote. Hillary is a joke, and the fact that she can't raise any money and loses a 40 point lead nationally tells everyone the whole story...Hillary = Titanic (the unsinkable....we all know how that story ends).

A muslim? What facts support that rumor? Rumors repeated often enough, become facts for some people.
I am not black. According to Hitler, I'm a member of the master race, but many in my master race are showing signs of desperation and pure hatred, and that's a weakness. Let's fight fair.
