Clinton Will Lose Texas
Mar 11th 2008 8:20AM
Filed Under:eHillary Clinton, Democrats, Barack Obama, Breaking News
The Texas Secretary of State will release the official results of the Democratic primary on March 29th. But if initial estimates hold, Barack Obama will beat Hillary Clinton in the race for delegates. CNN confirms what others have been seeing for days. While Clinton won the state's popular vote, Obama racked up more caucus support, so that, now that the dust is settling, the Lone Star state's delegate total reads:Obama: 61 delegates from the popular vote + 38 delegates from caucuses = 99 delegates.
Clinton: 65 delegates from the popular vote + 29 delegates from Caucuses = 94 delegates.
So news people can now stop saying "two big wins in Ohio and Texas." Big win in Ohio, sure, but not Texas. Yes, Clinton could still pull it out, but that seems increasingly unlikely.
A further analysis of the delegate race over at DailyKos reveals that Clinton's supposedly big week has actually resulted in a net loss of 15 delegates to the front-runner. That's right, Obama continued to widen his delegate lead. Add to that another 6 delegate cushion after Mississippi, as well as another 99,000-vote-advantage to buttress Obama's overall lead in the popular vote, and one gets the feeling that Obama's momentum didn't really subside as much as was reported.
For those who have asked, roughly one-third of Texas voters participate in the state's caucuses.

FORGET ABOUT THE STUPID CAUCUS - IT'S PRIMARIES AND POPULAR VOTES THAT COUNT. HE WILL WIN MISS AND THEN ON THE ANOTHER BLUE STATE PA - HE WILL LOOSE THAT AND HE WILL LOOSE FLA AND MICHIGAN. HE WILL ONLY WIN ONE BLUE STATE AND THAT IS ILL. NOT A GOOD REPORT CARD.

Dont forget she won Michigan too. She boasted a win in Michigan. Your crying commander and chief won Michigan.
But she was the only person on the ticket.
How can you Hillary lovers stomach that crap. She would hit your momma in the head to get elected

OBAMA IS THE BEST CHOICE !
CLINTON TALKS OUT OF BOTH SIDES OF HER MOUTH.

Impeached Billary just doesn't get it. Buying a Senator seat with Presidential Pardons does not erase all the crimal activities of their lives.
charles Monaghan9:18AMMar 11th 2008
First of all...anyone will tell you that caucuses are not democratic since all people do not have a chance to vote but only those available at a certain time and obviously..Obama bpacked the audience through his plans with black voters and his people. Secondly...it was Obama himself, the two faced bastard who said that "the popular vote counts" and evern Superdelegates etc.....stop this favoritism for Obama...I swear you are going to cause such a hatred between blacks and whites with this bull shit....read the article in the Connecticut post today...www.connpost.com on caucuses being undemocratic and then shut your mouth. Let me tell you...you are going to cause a god damn race riot in this country...do you realize what you're doing. I know people now who were NEVER prejudiced thru their whole lives who are prejudiced now because you people in the Media caused it. Obama DID NOT win the state but Clinton....did.

No, David she did not lose Texas, she won Texas, she won the popular vote! So, how could she lose
Texas. No matter how you dice it, it is still a win for Hillary. If we held our contest like the Republicans, winner take all delegates, she would be our Candidate, but again the delegate count is like the electoral vote. Remember that with Gore and Bush. And we know who should have won that. It amazes me how you try to spin this! I know that it will matter about the delegate count but remeber the We The People count and that where the popular vote makes it more legitimate than a delegate count!
charles Monaghan9:20AMMar 11th 2008
Keep up this negative attack on Clinton and when Obama gets the nod for nomination and all the people kick you in the ass by going to McCain...then you'll have earned the money the republicans paid the big wigs who own your corporation.
Hunter9:20AMMar 11th 2008
You wont find the delegate numbers from Texas on Hillary's web site.
99 Obama
95 Hillary
But She does boast about her win in Florida and Michigan :(
Who wants bill back in the White House groping the groupeeees. Hilary couldn't keep her man in check, how is she going to keep the country in check without crying on national t.v.
Lisa9:26AMMar 11th 2008
Hunter,
Maybe youre right about Michigan, but wait till they vote again. What about Florida, she won that! They were all on the ballot, and Obama Lost. Look at the polls now, she is ahead almost by 20 points in Florida. Just wait till they vote again in Florida. Obama must be shaking in his boots at the thought of that. If Florida and Michigan were not stripped of their delegates and if we had winner take all of the delegates like the Republicans. We would be saying Obama who?
Face it Hillary is the strongest candidate out there and if Obama wins, we will have at least 4 more years of a Republican President.
Hunter9:26AMMar 11th 2008
Dear lisa Bush didn't win the popular vote
but won the electoral vote and became the president. Go McCain 100 yrs of our kids dying the streets on foreign soil. Sucks
Hunter9:30AMMar 11th 2008
Lisa Billary will never get world leader respect. The Commander and Chief doesn't cry on national t.v.
Besides even with a sizable win in florida Obama will get a sizable share of delegates leaving him as the front runner.
Why are you so easily able to digest the fact she claimed a victory in Michigan?
If Obama had done that you would be crucifying that guy.
G9:35AMMar 11th 2008
Hillary is willing to rip apart the party for her personal gain. Penn. voters: End this thing or we'll end up with 20 years of conservitive rule in this country. Folks, this is way bigger than one person. For the good of the party, she should gracefully withdraw. If she does and Obama get slamed in Nov. she can come back in four years. If she takes this to the convention, there will not be anything to come back to.

Billary Lied to OHIO And they know it, Now see what Michigan does. Florida didn't know Obama. He always starts 23% behind. Its hard to get crooks elected these Days.

HILLARY A TOXIC FRIEND?
It would appear that being a supporter of Hillary Diane Rodham-Clinton these days may be toxic, to your health and well being!
Arkansas- There is a growing voice being heard from the press for the name of the donors to Presidential Library of former President, and (CEO) of the Co-Clinton- Presidential “Team Clinton” Campaign, Snowman Slick Willie William “Bubba” Jefferson Clinton. Questions are now being ask what favor’s were asked for those donations and what favor’s were given and by whom? RUN FOR COVER BOYS!
Florida- The Rev. Al Sharpton of New York City, and a strong voice in the “Civil Right’s Movement is now in “The Sunshine State” in the Black-Afro-American Community asking how many were disenfranchised in voting do to the fact that they did not go to the poles and vote as they had felt that their vote and time would have been wasted as the National Democratic Party had stated their delegates would not be seated in the “Sum of All Fear” Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado, this year for breaking the rules? "Hung out to dry "disenfranchised" Black-Afro-American Voter's did you say"?
New York- Governor Elliott Spitzer of New York has been caught up in an FBI sting operation, dealing in prostitution, crossing state line’s, coming under the Mann Act, a (20) twenty-year or two dime’s in the slammer possible gig. This is the same “Superdelegate” Spitzer who supports the Co-Clinton-Presidential Campaign, and who with Hillary supports giving licenses to Illegal Mexican’s New York State Driver’s Licenses, with (12%) twelve percent of the Mexican Population in The United States, while (60K) Sixty-Thousand jobs were lost this month and (1M) One million homes being foreclosed on, the dollar and stock market dropping.
One less Hillary "Superdelegate"?
Pennsylvania- Gov. Ed Rendell yet another Hillary supporter, and “Superdelegate” is facing re-election and it would appear that the support of Hillary is dangerous to your job security in a state with a large Black-Afro-American Community, working to make sure the “Real First Black President” is not elected. One less Hillary "Superdelegate"?

Hunter,
First of all her name was on the ballot, I think it was the right thing to do to thank the people of Michigan who did vote for her. That is all. The people of Michigan and Florida should not be penalized because of Government officials changing the rules. A vote is still a vote. I do agree that all names should have been on the ballot in Michigan but the candidates were the ones who decided to take them off. Now, why did Obama leave his name off Michigan but left his name on the Florida Ballot. Also, Hunter, remember the delegate counts, electoral vote are not as fair as the popular vote. Again delegate and electoral system are rules made up by the government. The popular vote counts the Peoples choice!

Billary should ask Vince Foster why she can't win. Texas for Obama.
