I am trying hard not to pass judgement on Obama, it just seems awful peculiar that in 20 years Obama never has heard Wright give a negative sermon on whites or on the USA in general. If this many sermons have been taped, how many sermons were not on tape and what are the odds that in 20yrs Obama never heard this guy speak in this manner? I just can't believe this story and feel that Obama has always known, had listened, and praised this minister.

The Media except Fox news ignore the Rev comments. Geraldine's comments and Johnson'sare personal towards Obama .The media was quick and forced a "sorry" out of them.Even the supporter of Mc Cain supporter mentioned HIS middle name ...It was a crime.

How disturbing is this to think this man could hold the HIGHEST OFFICE IN OUR LAND....

Obama has a 20 year friendship and belongs to a church with a Minister that shouts racism, hatred and anti-American slurs. States he never heard any of his Minister rhetoric, I question Obama, HONESTY character, his beliefs and JUDGEMENT. Ironic coming from Obama who says WORDS COUNT. What kind of change? I don't understand how anyone could possibly consider voting for this man. Along with his friendship with Rezko and William Aryes. His wife who obviously agrees with Minister Wright and has frequently touts her distaste for America.

Suddenly Obama also acknowledge Rezko gave him more more than first reported. Alot of baggage for someone new and has a different view on how Washington should run.


Not to mention how unqualified this man is to be our President.

The honesty factor comes into play here. I,too, find it very hard to believe Obama has never heard this kind of racial hatred coming from behind those doors at one time or another.It is sad to see people still respond like this and a man running for president has been there with him for twenty years. The media is insulting everyones intelligence by not making this a headline story while the Ferraro story was everywhere.

I agree that the Democrats are currently tearing the party apart - feeding into the glee of Republicans. That said, sooner or later, the Dems will have a nominee. Then hopefully McCain will start being scrutized the way Clinton and Obama have been.
But I believe the GOP is hoping for a Clinton victory - the Republican establishment knows that Hillary will energize Republicans in a way that McCain - let's face it - never will.

You can sugar coat Obama's association with Rev. Wright but if he has been going to this church for 20 years and he treats this clown as his mentor and "Uncle", then I wouldn’t want this person as President of the United States. I want someone who also represent my values as an American and of all its people. I will not accept him and neither should any American. This has been an eye opener for everyone and I can't see him recover from this fiasco. Imagine, when it comes down to voting Americans, all you have to remember what association this clown is to and how Obama has been indoctrinated for 20 years of twisted beliefs and how your vote will say its OK for "Uncle" Rev. Wright to officiate at Obama's Inaugural Speech in January 2009, in front of all the fools that voted for him. Guilt by Association by accepting this clown for 20 years as his Pastor, his mentor and how this Pastor divides, denounced all races and the tragedy of 911, and of how he treated America, that to me, is unforgivable. What gets me, is that his congregation cheered and applauded at this church, with this Pastor preaching hate and animosity towards other races and America. This is Obama’s church, where he gets his spiritual values from. Is Pastor Wright a man of Christ and of his teachings? No this is a man of hate and of low divisive values, definitely not a man of Christ’s teachings. How can we vote Obama when this kind of teaching has been ingrained in hate for 20 years? This is not the radical 1960's it is the year 2008, and there is still division within the black community against other races because of this kind of indoctrination. Very sad for me, and America!!
