Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton struck back today at actor/comedian Sinbad in response to the funnyman's refutation of her foreign policy credentials. Reports Politico:
Hillary responded to Sinbad's recollection of their trip together to Bosnia, which Hillary has portrayed as perilous, and at which Sinbad said the most difficult choice was where to get lunch.

"He's a comedian, you know," she said, recalling that she was moved into the cockpit for safety, that the plane made an evasive maneuver, and that there was no greeting ceremony.

"We basically were told to run to our cars," she said.
There is no truth to reports that Clinton went on to say that, while Sinbad could write and deliver funny material, it took Ed McMahon to make him a star.

Yakov Smirnoff, meanwhile, has yet to weigh in on what role, if any, Senator Clinton might have played in the breakup of the former Soviet Union.

What is Hillary Clinton doing in a smackdown with Sinbad? What's the best case scenario here, you make Sinbad look foolish? This one should've been handled by a spokesman last week. Like Al Gore's invention of the internet, I'm sure she's sorry she even brought it up.

But think about this for a moment: Hillary, Sinbad, Sheryl Crow, and Chelsea were probably in more danger, with less security, on that trip than our current "War President" is on any of his cups of coffee in Iraq. Maybe that "Commander in Chief" threshold isn't such a igh bar to meet.
