Gore Won't Put His Money Where His Mouth Is
Today is the deadline of the Global Warming Challenge - a bet proposed by J. Scott Armstrong, a climate-change skeptic who doubts the varsity of climate forecasting models upon which Al Gore had based many of his dooms-day predictions.
The challenge dictates that Armstrong and Gore each put $10,000 into a Charitable Trust Fund. Armstrong then proposes to forecast temperature change more accurately than any climate model Gore chooses over a 10-year period. Armstrong forecasts that global mean temperature will not change.
Gore insisted that he was too busy to enter into the bet by the original deadline, so Armstrong extended until today. Gore has failed to accept.
Of course, this entire ordeal is a political stunt. The cash involved is minuscule and the bet requires an excessive duration. However, it does illuminate a single point: Gore is willing to wager taxpayer money on his wild, the-sky-is-falling hypothesis, but he feels that personal risks are beneath his merit. I commend Mr. Gore for refusing to wager his wealth on such a bet, and hope that voters do likewise whenever the issue is brought before them on a ballot.

Obama took a bad hit for two weeks. No one said anything negitive about Clinton. The point is if there is something positive about Obama, it means something negitive against Clinton. Hillary Clinton has the most negitive and angry supporters. Take it easy.

No Gore is too busy plotting how to steal the election. He has put no time and money into it, but he is already being whispered around as being THE one. After all don't you know he is the TOP Democrat? Stay tuned for "As the Race Churns, Boils and Bumbles"

Sorta like the Muslims and Arabs talk about Barack Hussein Obama being THE FACE.
As for Global Warming again it is being media pushed, just like they are pushing Obama down our throats. So who died and made them god?

Hey, skeptical about global warming? That's fine. How about looking at things from an economic point of view? The majority of fuel that we currently need to run our country comes from the least stable area on the planet! Or how about looking at it from a health perspective - don't you want clean air and drinkable water for your children and grandchildren? I don't care if there are people out there that refute the idea of global warming. What bothers me is that so many people say "Look, it doesn't really exist" and then feel justified drinking from their plastic water bottle as they drive their Tahoe 3 blocks to the McDonalds drive-thru after a long shopping trip to Wal-mart.

GORE NEEDS TO BE HELPING HILLARY!
THE DELEGATES NEED TO BE FAIR TO ALL AMERICANS!
NANCY PELOSI, HOWARD DEAN - FOLLOW 1984 RULES FOR 08':
Nancy Pelosi is scrambling to quell Democratic infighting. Two states broke the rules with earlier-than-allowed primaries, and two candidates are dueling for an advantage among superdelegates who could hold the key to the nomination. NANCY PELOSI WANTS TO BE THE “FIRST” FEMALE PRESIDENT!
Sound familiar? It was 1984, and the woman who is now Speaker of the House — and chair of this summer's national convention — was getting an early and sometimes painful education in how delegate rules can breed party strife.
"Nancy and I both well remember the agony that we went through (in 1984). We always take up knotty issues, as we may well again," said Charles T. Manatt, who was the party chairman then.
"She would look people in the eye and say, 'Here's what the rules say, and here's how we interpret the rules.' We defused most of it," Manatt added.
In advance of the 1984 convention, it fell to Pelosi to take a hard line against New Hampshire and Iowa as they threatened to — and then did — schedule their contests earlier than party rules allowed. She and Manatt staunchly argued that rules were rules, and refused to make an exception for the two states. Ultimately, though, the party caved and allowed the delegations to be seated.
Let all the votes count in 2008, just like 1984!
CITIZENS IN FLORIDA AND MICHIGAN ARE AMERICANS, TOO!

IS AL WORKING WITH NANCY?
Good Old Nancy---Any time there is a chance to get her name in the headlines, she jumps at the chance! She is a woman who wants to keep her name in the public’s memory for when she decides to run for president. According to Pelosi, she was going to stay neutral---NOT! The caucus voting was unfair to Hillary because the elderly and working people were unable to vote. Then, the DNC refused to count ALL the citizens of Florida and Michigan (we have 50 states---not 48).
Pelosi simply wants to be the FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT. She doesn’t care if ALL American citizens suffer because of her desires.
AMERICAN CITIZENS NEED TO WAKE UP!! CALL YOUR SENATORS AND MEMBERS OF CONGRESS AND TELL THEM HOW YOU FEEL===NOW!

I think Obama is someone who would make a good President of the U.S. Hilary is a woman and I cannot see a woman being President of the U.S. McCain is getting too old to hold that office in todays world. Too much going on in other countries. McCain definately won't be getting the troops out of Iraq soon. He will stick it out the same as President Bush is right now. More and more of our troops will die for a war that should never have been. Obama is young and intelligent and he would be for all nationalitiesl. If you listen to him talking he would do the best for the country and the war.

Well here's another fine mess we find ourselves embroiled in. The Democratic party is about to
implode like a tired old casino from the Las Vegas strip. All the while, Hillary Clinton is allowed to tap dance roughshod on the precious remains of our party.
And then there is Bill Clinton telegraphing every move she makes. The King of Deceit would now have of us believe that his 'hit job' comparison of Barack Obama and Jesse Jackson in South Carolina was a myth. That he was the victim of a mugging. How Ferraroesque.
That was Monday, by Friday he was advancing the calculus that only John McCain and Hillary Clinton
really love this country, prompting Ret. General Tony McPeak to make the much needed comparison of Bill Clinton to our most iconic Witch Hunter, Joe McCarthy.
So where is Al Gore? Where in the world is the would be standard bearer of the Democratic party? Where is the rest of the spineless Democratic leadership when they are needed most? Barack Obama is the great hope for this nation and our party is teetering on the precipice of greatness for the first time in a generation.
I guess Gore and others are too busy selfishly contemplating their own political currency. Too busy to do the right thing for us for a change. No one should be that shocked however. These are the same tactics of the do nothing House and Senate leadership that always turn a blind eye in their complicity with the Bush Crime Family.
If Obama were trailing by such epic proportions his campaign would have been shut down in February. Instead we are helplessly subjected to Hillary and Bill Clinton in lockstep with the Right Wing Hate Machine.
We need to hold Bill Clinton accountable to his own words in support of John Kerry's White House bid. "Now one of Clinton's laws of politics is this, if one candidate is trying to scare you and the other is trying to get you to think, if one candidate is appealing to your fears and the other is appealing to your hopes....you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope!"
Now we must demand that our most super, super delegate, start acting like one. This is exactly the purpose for which these ethereal delegates were created. Will someone remind Al Gore of his role in this process. Does he need to be hit over the head with his Oscar? Are his eyes covered with his Nobel Prize wreath? Or is he only listening to the hedge funds and capital markets?
Of course Al Gore's most recent political judgment is not much to invest in, just ask Joe LIEberman who spends most of his time keeping John McCain on message.
