Dick Morris has said that Hillary will win if she just gets the
single women to vote for her. When I read that, chills went up my
spine. We need you and your daughters to commit to stop her from
being the first woman president of the United States. Of course we
want, and will have, a woman, but not this woman.

We're against Hillary
because we are for:

1. Parents having the right to choose the schools that are best for
their children.

2. Personalized, free market health care that allows choices.

3. Individual choice over how our social security payroll taxes are
invested.

4. Tax relief and tax simplification.

5. Business owners being allowed to pass their business on to their
children without a death tax.

6. Border security.

7. Exploring for energy and increasing American production of all
types of fuels to free us from despot-run oil producing countries.

8. Lawsuit abuse reform.

9. The use of electronic intercepts to track potential terrorists
activity.

10. Giving the military everything it needs to protect us against
another 9/11.

If you are for this whole list or any part of it then you are against
Hillary and any other liberal politician. They are obsessed with
expanding Washington’s power over all of us.

As a feminist, Hillary embarrasses me and it was always hard for me
to explain until I read an Ann Coulter column. She says,
“Girl-power feminists who got where they are by marrying men with
money or power — Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and Arianna
Huffington — love to complain about how hard it is for a woman to
be taken seriously. It has nothing to do with their being women. It
has to do with their cheap paths to power.”

Ann is so right. Hillary took the, “cheap path to power.” This is
a fact that is so obvious and for some strange reason, old-fashioned
liberal women promote the idea that Hillary is smart to do this. This
means that we have never, and will never, see what Hillary could do
if
she stood on her own two feet.

It is clear that Hillary is trying to look like the next Margaret
Thatcher with her vote to support the war in Iraq and her visit to
Iraq just a few days before she announced that she is running for
President. Again, I can’t resist sharing Ann Coulter with you.
About Hillary’s brief lean to the right, Ann writes, “It is as
easy to imagine Americans voting for someone like Margaret Thatcher
or Condoleezza Rice for president as it is difficult to imagine them
voting for someone like Hillary. Hillary isn't piggybacking on
Thatcher because she's a woman, she's piggybacking on Thatcher
because Thatcher made it on her own, which Hillary did not.”

I rest my case. As a feminist, Hillary is an embarrassment. We want a
woman president but not this woman.

Then, in November 1999, while on a purported State visit to the
Middle East, she publicly appeared with Yasser Arafat's wife Suha.
With Hillary at her side, Suha Arafat made the deliberately false
allegation that "Our [Palestinian] people have been submitted to the
daily and intensive use of poisonous gas by the Israeli forces, which
has led to an increase in cancer cases among women and children."
Mrs.
Arafat also accused Israel of contaminating much of the water sources
used by Palestinians with "chemical materials" and poisoning
Palestinian women and children with toxic gases.

Instead of reacting with outrage, Hillary Clinton sat by silently -
and gave her a hug and a kiss when she finished speaking. Later, many
hours after the event, and only after a media furor put her on the
spot for what many view as a bit more than a mere political "faux
pas," Mrs. Clinton called on "all sides" to refrain from
"inflammatory rhetoric and baseless accusations" - including Israel,
whose leaders made no such accusations. Glossing over this remarkably
repugnant affair, Mrs. Clinton has yet to specifically contradict and
denounce the monstrous lies uttered by Yasser Arafat's wife in her
presence.

President Clinton during his tenure as Governor of Arkansas and/or

BARBARA OLSON - Author of "Hell to Pay" - a book critical of Hillary
Clinton, killed in the Pentagon bombing.

DARLENE NOVINGER - Former FBI operative, January 23rd, 2003. Novinger
was known to hold sensitive information on the Clinton and Bush I
administration's drug operations. Her husband murdered March 1987
when she went public with initial reports. Her father died July 8,
1993 four hours after Darlene was a guest on the Tom Valentine show.
Suffered retaliation after reporting discussions by government
protected drug smuggler who described contacts with Vice President
George Bush and his son, Jeb Bush.

DAN MULLONEY, a television news photographer who shot footage of the
1993 Branch Davidian siege.

CHARLES RUFF - White House Counsel and Clinton defense attorney
during the Monica Lewinsky scandal and the impeachment trial. Of
apparent natural causes.

JAMES MCDOUGAL - Clinton's convicted Whitewater partner died of an
apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. McDougal was a
key witness in Kenneth Starr's investigation.

MARY MAHONEY - A former White House intern was murdered July 6, 1997
at a Starbucks Coffee Shop in Georgetown. The murder happened during
the pre-trial publicity surrounding the Paula Jones lawsuit days
after Newsweek's Mike Isakoff dropped hints that a former White House
staffer was about to go public with her story of sexual harassment in
the White House.

VINCENT FOSTER - Former White House counselor, and former colleague
of Hillary Clinton at Little Rock's Rose law firm. Foster was found
dead July 20, 1993 of a gunshot to the head ruled a suicide. Rumours
were that Foster and Hillary had an affair.

RON BROWN - Secretary of Commerce and former DNC Chairman. Reported
to have died by impact in a plane crash. A pathologist close to the
investigation reported to the Bob Grant Radio Show a hole in top of
Brown's skull resembling a gunshot wound. At the time of his death
Brown was being investigated, and spoke publicly of his willingness
to cut a deal with prosecutors.

C. VICTOR RAISER II - Former National finance Co-Chairman, Clinton
for President Campaign and son MONTGOMERY RAISER died in a private
plane crash in Alaska, July 30th,1992. Raiser was described as a
major player in the Clinton organization by Dee Dee Meyers.

JEREMY "MIKE" BOORDA, President Clinton's former Chief of Naval
Operations allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the
chest with a .38 caliber pistol on his front lawn in May 1996. The
unauthorized wearing of valor pins was the alleged reasoning behind
the suicide. By 1998 this reasoning was proved false after the Navy
issued a report that said Boorda earned the right to wear the pins
afterall.

PAUL TULLEY - Democrat National Committee Political Director found
dead in a hotel room in Little Rock, Arkansas September 24, 1992,
Described by Clinton as a "Dear friend and trusted advisor".

ED WILLEY - Clinton fund raiser-found dead November 30, 1993 deep in
the woods in Virginia of a gunshot wound to the head. Ruled a
suicide, Willey died on the same day his wife Kathleen Willey claimed
that Bill Clinton groped her in the oval office in the White House.

Willey was involved in several Clinton fund raising events.

JERRY PARKS - Head of Clinton's gubernatorial security team in Little
Rock. Gunned down in his car at a deserted intersection outside
Little
Rock. Parks' son said his father was building a dossier on Clinton.
He
allegedly threatened to reveal this information. After he died the
files were mysteriously removed from his house

JAMES BUNCH - Died from a gunshot wound. Reported to have a black
book of people containing names of influential people who visited
prostitutes in Texas and Arkansas.

JAMES WILSON - Was found dead by hanging May 18, 1993. Was reported
to have ties to Whitewater.

KATHY FERGUSON - Ex-wife of Arkansas Trooper Danny Ferguson died in
May,1994 was found dead in her living room with a gunshot wound to
her head. It was ruled a suicide even though there were several
packed suitcases, as if she was going somewhere. Danny Ferguson was a
co-defendant along with Bill Clinton in the Paula Corbin Jones
lawsuit. She was reported a possible corroborating witness for Paula
Jones case.

BILL SHELTON - Arkansas state Trooper and Fiancee of Kathy
Ferguson.Critical of the suicide ruling of his fiancee, he was found
dead in June, 1994 of a gunshot wound also ruled a suicide at the
grave site of his fiancee.

GANDY BAUGH - Attorney for Clinton friend Dan Lassater died by
falling out a window of a tall building January, 1991. His client was
a convicted drug distributor.

FLORENCE MARTIN - Accountant subcontractor for the CIA related to the
Barry Seal Mena Airport drug smuggling case. Dead of three gunshot
wounds.

SUZANNE COLEMAN - Reportedly had an affair with Clinton when he was
Arkansas Attorney General. Died of a gunshot wound to back of head,
ruled a suicide, was pregnant at the time her death.

PAULA GROBER - Clinton's speech interpreter for the deaf from 1978
until her death December 9, 1992. She died in a one car accident.

DANNY CASOLARO - Investigative reporter, investigating Mena airport
and Arkansas Development Finance Authority. Found dead with slit his
wrists in the middle of his investigation.

PAUL WILCHER - Attorney investigating corruption at Mena Airport with
Casolaro and the 1980 "October Surprise" was found dead on a toilet
June 22, 1993 in his Washington DC Apartment. Had delivered report to
Janet Reno 3 weeks before his death.

JON PARNELL WALKER - Whitewater Investigator for Resolution Trust
Corporation. Fell to his death from his Arlington, Virginia apartment
balcony August 15, 1993. Was investigating Morgan Guarantee scandal.

BARBARA WISE - Commerce Department Staffer, worked closely with Ron
Brown and John Huang. Cause of death unknown. Died November 29, 1996.
Her bruised nude body was found locked in her office at the
Department
of Commerce.

CHARLES MEISSNER - Assistant Secretary of Commerce who gave John
Huang special security clearance, died shortly thereafter in a small
plane crash.

DR.STANLEY HEARD - Chair National Chiropractic Heath Care Advisory
committee died with his attorney.

STEVE DICKSON - Died in a small plane crash. Heard, in addition to
serving on Clinton's advisory council personally treated Clinton's
mother, stepfather and brother.

BARRY SEAL - Drug running pilot out of Mena, Arkansas. Death was no
accident.

JOHNNY LAWHORN Jr. - Mechanic, found a check made out to Clinton in
the trunk of a car left in his repair shop. Died when his car hit a
utility pole.

STANLEY MUGGINS - Suicide. Investigated Madison Guarantee. His report
was never released.

HERSHELL FRIDAY - Attorney and Clinton fund raiser died March 1, 1994
when his plane exploded.

KEVIN IVES and DON HENRY - Known as "The boys on the track" case.
Reports say the boys may have stumbled upon the Mena Arkansas Airport
Drug operation. This controversial case where initial report of death
was due to falling asleep on railroad track. Later reports claim the
two had been slain before being placed on the tracks. Many people
linked to the case died (see below) before their testimony could come
before a Grand Jury.

THE FOLLOWING SIX PERSONS HAD INFORMATION ON THE IVES/HENRY CASE:

KEITH CONEY - Died when his motorcycle slammed into the back of a
truck in July, 1988.
KEITH McMASKLE - Died, stabbed 113 times, November 1988.
GREGORY COLLINS - Died from a gunshot wound, January 1989.
JEFF RHODES - He was shot, mutilated and found burned in a trash dump
in April 1989.
JAMES MILAN. Found decapitated-Coroner ruled death due to natural
causes.
JORDAN KETTLESON - Was found shot to death in the front seat of his
pickup truck in June 1990.
RICHARD WINTERS - Winters was a suspect in the Ives/Henry deaths. Was
killed in set-up robbery in July 1989.

Bill Clinton openly defended his "Final Solution" to crisis pregnancy, repeatedly vetoing a partial-birth abortion ban, thereby allowing this brutal procedure to continue with no restrictions.

Partial-Birth Abortion is an Affront

There is no way that Bill Clinton can whitewash the truth that
abortion stops a beating heart.

* Democrats led by Bill Clinton supported The Freedom of Choice Act, guaranteeing abortion rights to women, regardless of the Supreme Court's possible reconsideration of Roe vs. Wade, and overriding existing state regulations and provisions. The Freedom of Choice Act would take abortion out of the hands of the Supreme Court, the state legislatures that have traditionally regulated it, or any other agency that would regulate or restrict it.

The Clinton administration vigorously supported this legislation but wasn't able to get it through Congress. But those in power have not given up. Clinton's culture of death is still working to get this bill passed.

Senator Barbara Boxer (D-Ca.) introduced it again on April 6, 2006.

o The bill promoted by Democrats and which Clinton supported, permitted no limits on the killing of unborn babies. None! If passed, it will remove all restrictions on abortion in all fifty sates, during all nine months of pregnancy, for any or no reason at all. Terminating a little life because she is a girl instead of a boy would be entirely legal in all 50 states.
o Existing laws permitted by the Supreme Court in the Casey decision (1992) allowing waiting periods designed to ensure parental notification before abortions are performed on underage girls would be nullified.
o A fully viable infant could be fair game even in the eighth or ninth month of pregnancy. Abortions would be legal in any circumstance if "the health of the mother" warranted. Since "health" was not defined, it is reasonable to assume the provision includes "psychological health" as a justification. Thus, a baby could be killed up to the moment of birth for any reason - or for no reason at all.

"The first thing the Democratic leaders don't want you to hear is that, on this single issue [abortion], they have become a lock-step, litmus-test, gag-rule party. They have been intolerant of those who hold the pro-life view, who have carried the Democratic banner into battle and supported the party and its candidates for generations. The new intolerance will not abide doubt or dissent -- it claims it stands for freedom of choice, but it stifles freedom of speech. And so a movement that began by saying 'let every person decide' has ended up by silencing anyone who disagrees."

President Clinton clamped down on abortion protesters, with Bill Clinton signing legislation that makes blocking a clinic a federal offense. The Freedom of Access to Abortion Clinic Entrances Act (FACE) passed in late 1993. "The scope of FACE is so broad that it makes no distinction between violent and non-violent protesters, and, simply because they are pro-life, subjects them to the same harsh penalties," stated Elizabeth Law, director of government relations for the Family Research Council. The law limits First Amendment rights based on political beliefs. Praying, sidewalk counseling, picketing-- any activity construed as blocking clinic sidewalks or driveways-- is strictly prohibited for anyone with a pro-life viewpoint. In theory, this legislation prevents acts of violence at abortion clinics, but in actuality, it hinders free speech rights for a single group of people -- pro-lifers.

In April, 1998, a U.S. District Court held Operation Rescue and the Pro-Life Action League liable for damaging the ability of abortion clinics to conduct business over the past 15 years. The ruling in NOW v. Scheidler, awarded $255,000 in damages to abortion clinics in Delaware and Wisconsin and effectively punishes pro-life organizations for persuading women not to have abortions. It also classifies some pro-life speech as organized crime. (Washington Watch, May 1998)

Population Control

White House spokeswoman Dee Dee Myers said on April 1, 1993, the Administration regards abortion as "part of the overall approach to population control." The Clinton Administration submitted to Congress a proposed bill to completely rewrite the Foreign Assistance Act, which is the complicated law that governs the U.S. foreign aid program. The Clinton proposal would repeal the Helms Amendment which prohibits the use of U.S. foreign aid funds to pay for abortion.

* Clinton reversed the 1984 "Mexico City Policy" which required that U.S. assistance for overseas birth control programs be provided only to organizations that did not "perform or actively promote abortion as a method of family planning." According to the Boston Globe (Jan. 20, 1993), Bill Clinton complained that the anti-abortion "Mexico City policy" established by President Reagan "had severely limited international family planning and population control." Douglas Johnson, NRLC legislative director, said, "Clinton's actions means that U.S. tax dollars will be used to pressure African and other Third World governments to accept abortion as a method of birth control, although abortion violates the legal, cultural, and religious values of most less-developed nations." The Los Angeles Times (Jan. 24, 1993) quotes Mr. Clinton as saying, "Many believe that [rescinding the 'Mexico City policy'] is one of the most important environmental steps we can take." Mr. Clinton's moral confusion is chilling: the unborn must be sacrificed on the altar of environmentalism.

The Mexico City Policy has since been restored by President George W. Bush.

* The Clinton Administration resumed funding of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). The UNFPA is extensively involved in the population-control program of the People's Republic of China, which relies heavily upon coercive methods, including compulsory abortion and sterilization. The Henan Legal News, an official publication of the Chinese government, verified that two hospital officials caught helping women escape forcible sterilization were sentenced to death. In January 1994, the Chinese government also officially announced its plan to reduce, through abortion, the number of disabled and diseased children in China. Under the new laws, people with reproductive, hereditary or acute infectious diseases or with severe mental illness will be prohibited from marrying and having children. Doctors are required to recommend abortion if the pregnancy is "liable to result in the birth of a seriously sick or disabled baby."

* Vice President Al Gore led a U.S. delegation to the population conference in Cairo Egypt, a delegation that included Congreswomen Pat Schroeder and Jane Fonda as well as private advisers such as feminist leader Bella Abzug. Pro-lifers were not welcomed. Some were actually harassed. Vice President Gore insisted over and over that the term "reproductive health" in the Cairo population document did not imply abortion. But he must know that's exactly what it means in U.S. law.

* Clinton ended the gag rule that restricted abortion counseling in federally funded clinics. Secretary of Health and Human Services Donna Shalala suspended the 1988 Reagan regulations on Title X. In revoking this regulation, Clinton directed that 4,000 federally funded family planning clinics counsel all pregnant women and minors regarding abortion as a "pregnancy management option," that is, as a method of birth control.
o The tax-funded federal program known as Title X was created back in 1970 by Congress in order to fund "family planning" services for poor women. When this program was first drafted, the original language clearly stated "none of the funds appropriated under this Title shall be used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning." By the 1980's most Title X funds were being dispersed to clinics that either referred women for abortions or actually performed abortions on the premises. This misuse of funds continued until 1988, when the Reagan Administration issued regulations that barred Title X grants to clinics that promoted, referred, or performed abortions.
o Since Bill Clinton was in office, funding for Title X program has nearly doubled from $150 million a year to $288 million in 2005, with possibly as much as a third of it going to fund abortion-related services.

Health Care

Who can forget Bill and Hillary Clinton's failed legislative proposal for a government-controlled health care system that would have mandated coverage of abortion on demand as a plan "benefit." Under the failed Clinton Health Care proposal, every American would have been required to buy a federally defined "benefits package" that includes abortion on demand, paid for with payroll deductions for government-mandated "premiums." The government would pay the premiums for poor people, thereby nullifying the Hyde amendment and all state laws that currently restrict tax-funded abortion.

The Clinton's Health Care Plan perverted the very purpose of medicine: institutionalized killing in the form of abortion on demand and its logical counterpart, euthanasia through denial of treatment and care. Bill Clinton stated in a September 21, 1993 interview on MTV that the coverage of pregnancy related services "will guarantee that most plans will cover abortions." The Clinton's want all taxpayers to subsidize abortion on demand and for our insurance premiums to pay for abortions.

It is astounding that the president of a civilized nation should propose a plan under which life destroying abortion would be subsidized and routinely available as a "medical service" while life-saving, life-extending, and life-improving care would have to be withheld to meet the limits imposed by capping premiums well below the rate of health care cost inflation, leaving us at the mercy of some administrator's notion of what is "cost effective" care to preserve an acceptable "quality of life."

There is a new legal theory spreading among abortion enthusiasts — abortion as self-defense. This theory, reported in the Chronicle of Higher Education, acknowledges the humanity of the unborn child but sees the prenatal life as an intruder to be eliminated. In her new book, Breaking Abortion Deadlock: From Choice to Consent, Eileen McDonagh uses this chilling argument: "Even in a medically normal pregnancy, the fetus massively intrudes on a woman's body and expropriates her liberty. If the woman does not consent to this transformation and use of her body, the fetus's imposition constitutes injuries sufficient to justify the use of deadly force to stop it." She is advocating a coldly, calculated form of "justifiable homicide."

Birth Control

Clinton supported the abortifacient, RU 486, to permit self-administered abortions. Authorization to legalize this drug was signed on the third day after his inauguration.

RU-486 is not the carefree solution it's made out to be. "After a woman has a pregnancy test and has her fetus dated, she must undergo a pelvic exam, blood test, and an ultra-sound exam using an intra-vaginal probe. After a one-week waiting period, she takes three RU-486 tablets registered under her name and leaves the clinic; 36-48 hours later, she returns for an injection of a synthetic prostaglandin and stays in the clinic for about four hours for monitoring. The woman returns to the clinic seven days later to ensure that the abortion is complete and to have her bleeding monitored; if the pill has failed, a surgical abortion is performed."

Social spending advocates expect government to substitute for mothers and fathers. Social spending by the federal government for children and families has increased dramatically since 1960, yet, almost all indicators suggest that child wellbeing today lags behind what it was three decades ago. Clinton's "Bridge to the future" means more money and less results.

Fetal Tissue Research

Although hardly mentioned in either the secular or Christian media, on June 10, 1993, President Clinton signed into law the National Institutes of Health Revitalization Act of 1993. Part Two of this legislation authorized for the first time in U.S. history, government funded research using tissue from aborted fetuses. With this stroke of a pen, it became legal to cannibalize and commercialize the tiny bodies of murdered babies.

* Supporters of the Bill call it "pro-life" because the research being conducted on fetal tissue from abortions might benefit patients suffering from debilitating conditions such as diabetes and Parkinson's disease. "To call this a pro-life bill sounds like the 'New Speak' of Nazi Germany," said Ralph Reed, executive director of Christian Coalition. "This legislation would have benefitted only one group - the half-billion dollar a year abortion industry." There is something deeply troubling about cannibalizing tiny bodes of living babies - even for humanitarian purposes. More unsettling is the method by which their tissue is taken from them. That process is not widely understood because the fetal researchers apparently don't want the public to know what they are doing.
o An article published in the New England Journal of Medicine (Nov. 26, 1992) extolling the benefits of fetal tissue research doesn't tell us that to harvest the brain tissue the baby must be alive. One method of extraction is a "partial birth abortion," to drill open the baby's skull while it is still in the birth canal and suction out of the live baby the brain tissue and placing it immediately on ice to preserve its viability. If kidneys or other organs are desired, they are removed while the child is still partialy in the vagina. If puppies or kittens were subjected to such cruel treatment, the protest of the animal rights people would be heard around the world.
* A government advisory panel recommended that the government begin paying scientists to create and do research on human embryos outside the womb - most of which are illegal in several states and other industrialized nations. Under the guidelines proposed by the Human Embryo Research Panel of the National Institutes of Health, federal money could be used, for the first time, to conduct experiments on embryos growing in glass dishes for up to 14 days after fertilization. The panel said that very young embryos "do not have the same moral status as infants and children." Also recommended for funding was:
o Using donated eggs and sperm for the special creation of "research embryos" -- living human embryos whose only purpose in life will be to undergo harmful experiments and then be destroyed.
o Use of "parthenogenesis" (doubling the genetic complement of an egg without fertilization by sperm) to create new embryonic beings that can be grown in the laboratory and then dissected to provide "embryonic stem cell lines."
o Experiments to manipulate the embryo in the laboratory beyond the "primitive streak" stage, up to "the closure of the neural tube." This could carry destructive experiments into the fourth week of embryonic development, when the developing human has a beating heart and an early nervous system.
o Harvesting eggs from the ovaries of aborted fetuses to make "research embryos" and "parthenotes" to be experimented on and discarded.
o Use of a "cloning" procedure known as "artifical twinning" or "blastomere splitting" to create several genetically identical embryos from one, so long as the resulting embryos are experimented on and discarded instead of being transferred to the womb.

Eugenics

Once you start taking the lives of the unborn, the next class of people to lose their rights would be the elderly and the infirm. The same court system that established a constitutional right for a women to kill her unborn child is now saying there is a constitutional right for a doctor to assist in killing a patient. Two federal courts have recently ruled in favor of a constitutional "right" to doctor assisted suicide.

This order is the official revival of the eugenics movement which has not been officially sanctioned by a Western government since the Nuremburg war crimes trials. Fetal experimentation combined with genetic engineering is going to lead us right into the eugenics movement, the search and destroy mission for imperfect babies, unwanted human beings.


How is abortion a litmus test of a person's stand on other issues?

* A person who doesn't value the unborn and have concern for their lives probably won't stand up for other dependent members of society, such as the elderly infirm, the disabled and the mentally challenged.
* Those who "go with the flow" of prevailing opinion on abortion may be easily influenced by their peers and not choose to think for themselves on other issues.
* A candidate who wants to restrict abortion is likely to be against other kinds of destructive influences in our culture such as gambling and pornography.
* How an individual views abortion is a good indicator of where they will stand on other human rights violations, including international ones.
* A candidate who is pro-life from the view that our constitution protects "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" will probably want to stick to the limits of the consitution on other matters as well.

"Kelly" (a pseudonym) was a medical technician working for a firm that trafficked in baby body parts. This is not a bad joke. Nor is it the hysterical propaganda of an interest group. It was reported in The American Enterprise magazine -- the intelligent, thought-provoking and utterly trustworthy publication of the American Enterprise Institute.

The firm Kelly worked for collected fetuses from clinics that performed late-term abortions. She would dissect the aborted fetuses in order to obtain "high-quality" parts for sale. They were interested in blood, eyes, livers, brains and thymuses, among other things.

"What we did was to have a contract with an abortion clinic that would allow us to go there on certain days. We would get a generated list each day to tell us what tissue researchers, pharmaceutical companies and universities were looking for. Then we would examine the patient charts.

We only wanted the most perfect specimens." That didn't turn out to be difficult. Of the hundreds of late-term fetuses Kelly saw on a weekly basis, only about 2 percent had abnormalities. About 30 to 40 babies per week were around 30 weeks old -- well past the point of viability.

Is this legal? Federal law makes it illegal to buy and sell human body parts. But there are loopholes in the law. Here's how one body parts company -- Opening Lines Inc. -- disguised the trade in a brochure for abortionists: "Turn your patient's decision into something wonderful."

For its buyers, Opening Lines offers "the highest quality, most affordable, freshest tissue prepared to your specifications and delivered in the quantities you need, when you need it."

Eyes and ears go for $75, and brains for $999. An "intact trunk" fetches $500, a whole liver $150. To evade the law's prohibition, body-parts dealers like Opening Lines offer to lease space in the abortion clinic to "perform the harvesting," as well as to "offset [the] clinic's overhead."

Opening Lines further boasted, "Our daily average case volume exceeds 1500 and we serve clinics across the United States."

Kelly kept at her grisly task until something made her reconsider. One day, "a set of twins at 24 weeks gestation was brought to us in a pan. They were both alive. The doctor came back and said, 'Got you some good specimens -- twins.'

I looked at him and said: 'There's something wrong here. They are moving. I can't do this. This is not in my contract.' I told him I would not be part of taking their lives. So he took a bottle of sterile water and poured it in the pan until the fluid came up over their mouths and noses, letting them drown. I left the room because I could not watch this."

But she did go back and dissect them later. The twins were only the beginning. "It happened again and again. At 16 weeks, all the way up to sometimes even 30 weeks, we had live births come back to us. Then the doctor would either break the neck or take a pair of tongs and beat the fetus until it was dead."

American Enterprise asked Kelly if abortion procedures were ever altered to provide specific body parts. "Yes. Before the procedures they would want to see the list of what we wanted to procure.

The (abortionist) would get us the most complete, intact specimens that he could. They would be delivered to us completely intact. Sometimes the fetus appeared to be dead, but when we opened up the chest cavity, the heart was still beating."

The magazine pressed Kelly again: Was the type of abortion ever altered to provide an intact specimen, even if it meant producing a live baby? "Yes, that was so we could sell better tissue. At the end of the year, they would give the clinic back more money because we got good specimens."

Some practical souls will probably swallow hard and insist that, well, if these babies are going to be aborted anyway, isn't it better that medical research should benefit? No. This isn't like voluntary organ donation.

This reduces human beings to the level of commodities. And it creates of doctors who swore an oath never to kill the kind of people who can beat a breathing child to death with tongs.

U.S. House Votes to Hold Hearings on Trafficking of Baby Bodies and Organs:

On Tuesday, November 12, 1999, the U.S. House passed HR 350 on a voice vote. The resolution, offered by Representatives Tom Tancredo (R-CO), Chris Smith (R-NJ) and Joe Pitts, expresses a sense of the House of Representatives with respect to private companies involved in the trafficking of baby body parts for profit. It directs the Congress to exercise oversight responsibilities and conduct hearings and take appropriate steps if necessary, concerning private companies that are involved in the trafficking of baby body parts for profit.

When Bill Clinton took office in 1993, he overturned, by executive order, the ban on taxpayer funding of research involving the transplantation of organs and tissues obtained from aborted babies (fetal tissue) that had been instituted by the Bush administration. On March 11, 1993, Congress codified Clinton’s executive order by passing HR-4, The National Institutes of Health Revitalization Act, by a vote of 283-121. 57 Republicans voted with 225 Democrats and 1 Independent for this law that allows for federal funding of research on the transplantation of human fetal tissue for therapeutic purposes.

The law prohibits any person to knowingly acquire, receive, or otherwise transfer any human fetal tissue for valuable consideration if the transfer affects interstate commerce, but does not exclude reasonable payments associated with the transportation, implantation, processing, preservation, quality control or storage of human fetal tissue.

Information acquired by Life Dynamics of Denton, Texas reveals that at least 5 companies are in the business of procuring babies’ in-tact bodies, bones, blood, organs and tissues for profit. One company, Opening Lines of West Frankfurt, Ill, published a brochure in which they listed charges for various body parts including $999 for a brain, $500 for a trunk, and $325 for spinal cords. They claim they are within the letter of the 1993 law which allows for the above-mentioned reasonable payments. The hearings, which are to be scheduled by Congressman Tom Bliley (R-VA), chairman of the Commerce Committee, are expected in January when Congress returns from its recess. They will look into whether these tissue retrieval companies are violating the law.

What Life Dynamics has brought to light is the fact that there is an enormous and growing business of filling orders from researchers for in-tact, non-fragmented organs and tissues obtained from induced abortions. Evidence is mounting that some babies are aborted alive and then dissected and killed so that researchers may receive the perfect specimens they desire. The research is being conducted in taxpayer-funded facilities such as the National Institutes of Health, public universities and medical schools and by private pharmaceutical companies. Many have long believed that this has become a major reason for the use of the partial-birth abortion technique.

While it is important to hold hearings on whether or not these companies are guilty of selling babies’ organs for profit, we urge our friends in the pro-life community to begin legislative action to prohibit the use of fetal tissue derived from induced abortions for research purposes. If a mother suffers a spontaneous abortion, or her baby is still-born and she wishes to donate her child’s body to science, that is a different matter and would be consistent with current practice in adult organ donation.

People are going to continue to find ways to make money from the sale of aborted babies’ body parts as long as it is legal to conduct research experiments on them. Whether funded privately or by the taxpayers, this practice must be stopped.

Will Members of Congress attempt to ban fetal tissue research on aborted babies? It's hard to tell because of the pressures that will be brought by high-powered lobbyists from the pharmaceutical industry and others. Some claim it would be a futile battle because Bill Clinton would veto a ban.

Who knows what will happen? As word gets out about these horrible practices, the public will become increasingly outraged. Congress has an obligation to try, win or lose, to do the right thing. Sometimes progress comes as much from the battle as the victory.

If your Congressman/Congresswoman holds a town hall meeting, please take that opportunity to present this information to the gathering, Ask him/her publicly to support the hearings and to demand an end to research on tissue obtained from induced abortions.
