Ralph Nader's Poem to Hillary Clinton
Democratic leadership may be asking Hillary Clinton to quit, but not everyone is. Ralph Nader, in particular, wants her to keep going. In fact, he feels so strongly that she continue her campaign that he has, well, written a poem. And it goes a little something like this:"Don't listen to people when they tell you not to run anymore
That's just political bigotry
Listen to your own inner citizen First Amendment voice
This is America
Just like every other citizen, you have a right to run
Whenever you like
For as long as you like
It's up to you, Hillary
Just tell them
It's democracy
Get used to it."
Now, it's a standard rule here at Political Machine to avoid any commentary on the literary arts. Even when Millie Bush is the author. Nevertheless we feel that this poem--while breaking free from the traditional shackles of rhyme, metaphor and references to booze--falls slightly short of the slam-dunk necessary to keep a sinking campaign afloat. For what it's worth, our editorial team has come up with some additional poetic tributes, and we invite you to share your own in the comments section below.
Fire and Ice
"Some say campaigns end in fire. Some say in ICE.
But don't listen to those people
That's a literary/political mashup that doesn't
work at all.
This is Bosnia
I'm watching Obama feed a cow on CNN
You have the right to do that Hillary
Whenever you like.
For as long as you like
It's up to you, Hillary
It's not up to Gore because he lost a while back
Bowl forever."
This Is Just to Say
I have eaten
the plums
that were in
the icebox
and which
you were probably
saving
for breakfast
Forgive me
but I'm not
bowing out
of the race, fools
What?
You've been through worseAnd so have ILike that time I made seatbelts mandatoryOr that time I pooched the '00 election for everyoneRemember that? I don'tWhere am I?Where are you?
We're all here. United

TO ALL MY PENNSYLVANIA FRIENDS...if this gets cutoff PLEASE write to vemocgh@aol.com for full text...you'll love this one....
I wanted to let you know that Obama has released a brand new ad for Pennsylvania. He stands in front of a gas pump at a gas station, and explains that gas is now $3.50, then he goes on to say that he does not accept money from oil companies, and HE IS LYING. PENN voters will not know he is lying unless this brief article is proliferated on the internet. Please help me to share this information where it counts. It is wrong for Obama to flat-out lie to voters in Pennsylvania!! PLEASE SHARE!!!

I'm no Ralph Nader or Mya Angelou, but I know a little something something about entertaining poetry and Clinton bashing. First, let me say something about Nader. Every time he runs it make me want to "Ralph." Now here's something for Hillary. If Obama wins in the Red and Hillary only wins the Blue; which one of the Democrats do you think is through? How about one more? A pot of gold that can't be touched might make a Clinton sellout their Mama; but it the only choice is Bush or Clinton 3 then America would take Obama. Fight like a Rocky, but you cannot win. He lost to Apollo Creed. Whatever happened to the Gold Medal strategy? Did Tonya Harding get hit in her knees? I've got a book just waiting to be published, but timing is everything.

Clinton-Obama race spurs party switches
By JULIA SILVERMAN, Associated Press Writer 1 hour, 7 minutes ago
PORTLAND, Ore. - Matthew Buckingham, a stay-at-home father in Portland's suburbs and lifelong Republican, is fired up about voting for Sen. John McCain in November.
Like nearly 10,000 Oregonians — and thousands more voters in other late-primary states — Buckingham has temporarily switched his party affiliation in order to be able to vote in the red-hot Democratic primary.
"The bottom line is, this is the first Oregon presidential primary I have ever voted in my life that actually could matter, and I am not going to pass up that chance just because I am registered with the wrong party," said the 45-year-old Buckingham. "I want to make sure whoever gets in there, it is someone I can live with."
Many voters say they have made the switch to grab the chance to have a voice they never thought they'd have in a historic race that conventional wisdom had predicted would be decided on Super Tuesday in February.
Some renegade conservatives, though, will admit to switching in order to drag out the Democratic primary as long as possible in the hope of bruising both candidates along the way.
Talk radio hostess Victoria Taft, a familiar Republican voice in the Democratic-leaning Pacific Northwest, said that even in her wildest dreams she never imagined urging her listeners to vote for Clinton.
But these days, Taft is firmly on the New York senator's bandwagon, along with national conservative talk radio heavyweights like Rush Limbaugh and Laura Ingraham.
"I want to vet (Illinois Senator) Barack Obama more than Hillary," said Taft, whose daily program during prime evening drive-time reaches about 30,000 people. "We know what she is all about, but we don't know a stinking thing about him."
Her urging has resonated with listeners like Deborah Whisler, a Tigard-area retiree, who changed her registration from nonaffiliated to Democratic after hearing Taft on the radio.
"I almost can't say this without choking, but I'm going to vote for Hillary Clinton," Whisler said. "Just on the basis of finding out more about each candidate."

I see on the Power Line poll, that the majority of the people polled thought Obama’s misrepresentations were worse than Hillary’s false claims.
This media love fest with Obama just may well backfire.
While I am not a Hillary supporter I would vote for her forever over Obama.

2008 CAMPAIGN PUNDITS VS. REALITY5:07PMApr 1st 2008
HAVE SOMETHING TO SHARE WITH YOU:
Campaign 2008: Pundits Versus Reality
by Peter Daou 3/28/2008 11:18:45 AM
THE PUNDITS
Hillary Clinton will lose New Hampshire and the race will be over
THE REALITY
Hillary Clinton wins New Hampshire, defying the predictions and the polls
THE PUNDITS
Hillary Clinton will lose the big states on Super Tuesday and the race will be over
THE REALITY
Hillary Clinton wins the big states on Super Tuesday – and wins them by double digits
THE PUNDITS
Hillary Clinton will lose Texas and possibly Ohio on March 4th and the race will be over
THE REALITY
Hillary Clinton wins both Texas and Ohio on March 4th – and she wins Ohio by double digits
THE PUNDITS
Despite Hillary Clinton's big victories on March 4th, "the math" works decisively against her and the race is essentially over
THE REALITY
The math is simple: neither candidate has reached the number of delegates required to
secure the nomination and either candidate can win
THE PUNDITS
Barack Obama is substantially ahead in the pledged delegate count; pledged delegates are the only measure of success; therefore the race is essentially over
THE REALITY
The candidates are within fractions of one another on delegates; Barack Obama needs super delegates to win; and a marginal pledged delegate lead does not determine the outcome
THE PUNDITS
Barack Obama is substantially ahead in the popular vote; Florida and Michigan don’t count; therefore the race is essentially over
THE REALITY
The popular vote is virtually tied; half of Barack Obama's narrow vote advantage is from his home state; and his lead excludes Florida and Michigan
THE PUNDITS
Once the remaining states vote, Barack Obama will be substantially ahead in delegates and votes and the race will be over
THE REALITY
The race is a dead heat now and no one knows where things will end up after millions of remaining voters in the upcoming states make their choice
THE PUNDITS
Hillary Clinton's situation is dire; her campaign is struggling; her supporters are disillusioned and desperate
THE REALITY
Hillary Clinton and her supporters are calm, confident, and focused heading into the key
state of PA, where she is running strong
THE PUNDITS
Hillary Clinton’s campaign lacks significant grassroots energy; only one candidate has mobilized supporters to take action for the campaign
THE REALITY
Hillary Clinton’s supporters across America have written letters, blogged, donated tens of millions of dollars, volunteered millions of hours and made millions of calls
THE PUNDITS
There is a loud and growing chorus of voices asking Hillary Clinton to withdraw from the race
THE REALITY
Precisely the same number of voters (22%) think Barack Obama should drop out of the
race as Hillary Clinton
THE PUNDITS
Hillary Clinton is the candidate running a negative, divisive campaign; she is throwing the "kitchen sink" at Barack Obama
THE REALITY
Barack Obama has been throwing the sink, the stove, the plates and the garbage can at Hillary Clinton, attacking her integrity and character every day
THE PUNDITS
For Hillary to win the nomination, super delegates will have to "overturn the will of the
people"
THE REALITY
The will of the people is split and both candidates need - and are making their case to -
super delegates
THE PUNDITS
Hillary Clinton is threatening to poach pledged delegates from Barack Obama
THE REALITY
Barack Obama is reportedly already trying to poach pledged delegates from Hillary Clinton
THE PUNDITS
Florida and Michigan’s voters won't be heard and their delegates won’t be seated all
because of complicated procedural roadblocks
THE REALITY
Barack Obama is intentionally disenfranchising voters in two critical states for purely political reasons, namely, that he'll lose his small advantage if they count
THE PUNDITS
Every single word or action from Hillary Clinton, her campaign, her surrogates and her supporters is part of a calculated and cynical political strategy
THE REALITY
Hillary Clinton is a loyal Democrat, a lifelong public servant, a tireless and
tenacious candidate, and is fighting hard - and fair - to win with the help of millions of dedicated supporters
HILLARY CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT !!!

Patriotism, loving our country. Where does this man's true allegiances lie? Read his book, past drug use, hate mongering pastor and wife, rezko, plagerism...his inability to answer questions with anything other than a sermon and Ahh, Ahh, Ahh....
Fellow democrats and Americans..let's really think about this man look deep and hard. Are we willing to entrust the highest office in our country to a man like this. I remember when Bill Clinton smoked a joint and cheated on his wife and you would have thought the world was going to end, but now it's somehow acceptable with this fool Obama?? What's really going on here.
I have faith in the American people, we are smart, way too smart to ever let this man take the oath of office.
Lifelong democrat to the core, Hillary supporter no doubt. But I will for the first time cast a republican vote if Obama gets the nod. I'm sure I will not be alone.
Hillary 08-all the way to the convention--if not Mccain will be just fine!!!

We must all care what she, Hillary Denise Rodham Clinton thinks and does. It is very important to the whole World that she wins! She will end all suffering and hate. No one, (on the accepted list), will cry or be sick. Hillary will specifically include this in her Democratic Social Welfare, Health & Happiness Program for Correct Thinking Americans.
We MUST make those RICH Fat Cat's who drive big SUV's & foreign cars and smoke cigars pay for these good helpful programs by taxing the hell out of their big money paychecks and their evil corporations which exploit us all for our meager money! VOTE DEMOCRATIC!
D. L. GRAHAM5:47PMApr 1st 2008
PATH TO DEMOCRATIC PARTY DESTRUCTION!
Independents really have to consider their options at this point. The 6th of May is fast approaching, and at that time it will become clear as to if the Clinton Campaign is prepared and able to press into the Denver Convention and the possible destruction of the Democratic Party.
The Democratics have made Race, Gender, Religion, and the choice between an individual vote is for a certain candidate or its simply about voting to select someone else to select who they want for a candidate.
Will the Democratic Party once again self destruct? Will (100) Super-delegates withold their votes on the first ballot to keep The Clintons Gambit of stealing the nomination from success, by going to The Former Vice President, Noble Peace Prize Winner, and Oscar Winner, Al Gore? Or, will the Super-delegates tear the Democratic Party apart, set race relations in this country back decades? But, create the possible of the rise of a new Party not Democratic but of Independents?
Independents need to look at the fact that we may not like how things are going with a Republican Administration now, but for (4) years, they can maintain a stable government, with a united party unlike the Democratic Party.
Do Independents really want a James "The Raging Cajon" Carville, Party of your a "Judas" if your not with us? Do we want a party were the members are using Baseball Bats and Knives against each other over an election? Do Independents really want a party who's media people want to give other people a knuckle sandwich over a (27) year old Woman who can't or won't answer question vital to making an educated choice of candidates?
On May 6th, Independents should consider we may have no choice but to hold our noses and once again vote Republican. The Democratics have failed over the last (8) year's and with a split party we can expect even less.

work hard, tend to your constituents, and get along with others.
Obama's advisors called it "the Hillary Model."
Guess who adopted that model when HE arrived in the U.S. Senate?
EXPERIENCE? Even Obama knew experience when he saw it!

NO-CLINTONS!~~~ The book called,"THE FINAL DAYS", written by Barbara Olson, an atttorney for the Justice Departement, gives you a glimpse into the life of the Clintons. In the last days of Slick Willie's administration, he pardoned terrorists, cop killers and drig kingpins among many. Democratic senators were former President Jummy Carter were appalled at these pardons. At the time Bill and Hillary left the White House, they removed everything that was not nailed down, many items given to former presidents that were property of the citizen's of the United States such as furniture, 70 psintings and pictures. These were stolen and put in Clinton's library in Arkansas. ALL of the Clinton's wrong-doings are too long to list here!!!
NO HERO!~~~The book written By John McCain "called, FAITH OF MY FATHERS",clearly points out that he dishonored himself, willingly traded information for medcial treatment, gave information to his interrogators violating the Military Code Of Ethics. He was not tortured before doing so. MAke nomistake, he gave more than 30 anti-war, anti-American propaganda broadcasts that show he was indeed was a collaborator. To portray himself as a heroic figure, when he well knew he was treated more lenient than other prisoners due to being a som and grandson of Navy admirals. His book states so. The senator's outrageous behavior during the Senate POW/MIA hearing reveal how dishonest and despicable he can be. He was also one of the cheating "KEATING FIVE."
John says in his own book that he dishonored himself! But, now that he is running for President, he plays that down; no mention.

FOR HILLARY:
POEM and entry by Dr. Maya Angelou 3/31/2008 10:45:30 AM
This entry is part of a series in celebration of Women's History Month.
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I’ll rise.
This is not the first time you have seen Hillary Clinton seemingly at her wits end, but she has always risen, always risen, much to the dismay of her adversaries and the delight of her friends.
Hillary Clinton will not give up on you and all she asks of you is that you do not give up on her.
There is a world of difference between being a woman and being an old female. If you’re born a girl, grow up, and live long enough, you can become an old female. But, to become a woman is a serious matter. A woman takes responsibility for the time she takes up and the space she occupies.
Hillary Clinton is a woman. She has been there and done that and has still risen. She is in this race for the long haul. She intends to make a difference in our country.
She is the prayer of every woman and man who long for fair play, healthy families, good schools, and a balanced economy.
She declares she wants to see more smiles in the families, more courtesies between men and women, more honesty in the marketplace. Hillary Clinton intends to help our country to what it can become.
She means to rise.
She means to help our country rise. Don’t give up on her, ever.
In fact, if you help her to rise, you will rise with her and help her make this country a wonderful, wonderful place where every man and every woman can live freely without sanctimonious piety, without crippling fear.
Rise Hillary.
