I'd like to have a beer with Barack Obama and ask him how he really feels about Rev. Wright. I don't understand the attraction to Obama. He doesn't do anything for me but I'm not a young college student. If he doesn't get the Presidency, he should start a cult. Drink Obama beer.

I'd like to have a rootsbeer with Obama.

Haven't the voters learned that "Who you want to have a beer with?" is not the way to choose a President. That question was asked before and see what we have now!

HILLARY WHO?
Don Shook1:14PMApr 7th 2008
Drinking with anyone is better than drinking with any hack that works for this rag. The Huffington Post is a joke...as are your stupid surveys.
Glenda1:16PMApr 7th 2008
Hillary of course..she's the only REAL candidate.I bet Ol McSame would have a beer with anyone to get a vote.

I'd be honored to drink beer with senator Obama. I don't think I'd want any beer but rootbeer, though! I have read his outline/plan for America, but would like to ask specific questions and know that the answers came from him, not someone else. Since he teaches on the constitution, I'd ask about that, too. Not everyone gets to ask a Harvard law professor questions over beer.

if i had a beer with anyone, i would want to have it wish mccain because i would like to hear more about his war stories and just his past experiences...even though i am a democrat and will probably vote for obama. i also think its funny just how many people would rather spend their time drinking by themselves than with one of the candidates.

My poll would be this.
Do you think that this AOL poll is run by Idiots?
Yes
NO
Undecided
You never have the intestinal fortitude to really ask the real questions. you also never give real answer choices.
The way you word these polls is a lousy waste of my time.

THOSE PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO HAVE BEER WITH BUSH AND SELECTED HIM ON THE BASIS OF HIS BUBBLY PERSONALITY COMPARED TO THE STIFF GORE.......CAUSED US ALL TROUBLE.
LEARN FROM MISTAKES.
chefette1:30PMApr 7th 2008
I think I will pass thanks. It's all just too much this time around. You have Obama and Clinton acting like school kids fighting it out in the yard and McSame, as someone called him earlier who is just another Bush wannabe. oh the messes we get ourselves into. Now what?
WAM1:33PMApr 7th 2008
with...not "wish"
sorry

I would be proud to sit down with Mr. McCain and offer him a beer. I had friends that went through POW experience in the Vietnam war. I wish some of them could have come out as well As Mr. McCain. Hillary is more of the Clinton bullcrap, Obama talks pretty, but has no substance to back him up.(Trust me- I worked with people like that) While we still aren't afforded true choices in the presidential election- the Democrats are putting up the lamest choices. Slick Willie's wifey, or "Let's all feel good" Obama.....
God help my children, God help this country.
(Oh- sorry. I'm not sure if I am allowed to mention God when discussing government...Thanks, liberals, democrats...)
Shameless1:44PMApr 7th 2008
It would have to be about 6 beers with Hilary just to see if I could talk the panties off her and find out if she likes cigars also...
Dave 11:54PMApr 7th 2008
Sen John McCain would be my choice. I believe he will be our next President. He loves America, salutes our Flag, and stands when our National Anthem is played, Obama doesn't. Hillary has Bill as baggage, although I bet she wouldn't take any advice from him. We need a strong leader and John McCain is the one.
PATRICK1:55PMApr 7th 2008
count me in for a rootbeer with Sen. McCain ,
War hero, Sen., my era in age .... etc.
I am a Dem from Pa. but I am turned off by both clinton and obomma , waaaaaaaaaaaay to much drama with both people.
One is for socialism and the other is for racism.
NOTE: me being a registered DEM does not equate me being dumb. We / I have our own personal ideas on who we think is the best to lead this great nation.
I think Sen. McCain is my choice.
Patrick, proud to be an American
rebradd1:56PMApr 7th 2008
i would have a beer with sen. McCain i think it would be neat and plus his our only choice when it comes too knowing what his doing
SafeAndEffective1:56PMApr 7th 2008
I see an awful lot of green on the map. ("I'll pass" is coded green) I wish AOL had asked an alternate question: "Which candidate in the PAST 100 YEARS would you have liked to have had a couple of beers with?" Personally, I think Franklin D Roosevelt or maybe Woodrow Wilson.
Bree1:58PMApr 7th 2008
I would throw the beer on Hillary!

If I drank beer it would be interesting to have one with Hillary. Although it would be interesting to have a beer with each contestant to get their views.
