Obama's Bitter Aftertaste
But the only poll that matters will be held a week from today when voters cast votes in the Pennsylvania primary. Only then will we know whether voters in small towns are "bitter" or mad as hell at Obama.
John Judis of the New Republic thinks that Obama will be the one who's bitter when all is said and done:
Some liberal commentators have downplayed the effect of Barack Obama's fundraising speech at a San Francisco fundraiser last week. But that's wishful thinking. Along with the revelations about Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright, his remarks in San Francisco will haunt him not only in the upcoming primaries in Pennsylvania, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia, but also in the general election against John McCain, assuming he gets the Democratic nomination. With just 10 contests left, Obama has yet to show that he can win over these "salt-of-the-earth" Democrats.
To win in November, a Democratic presidential candidate has to carry most of the industrial heartland states that stretch from Pennsylvania to Missouri. That becomes even more imperative if a Democrat can't carry Florida--and because of his relative weakness in South Florida, Obama is unlikely to do so against McCain. Ruy Teixeira and I have calculated that in the heartland states, a Democratic presidential candidate has to win from 45 to 48 percent of the white working class vote. In some states, like West Virginia and Kentucky, the percentage is well over a majority.

IS John McCain ready to be president?
Please!
Age does not give you wisdom.
The man admitted that he does not understand the economy.
He wants to fight a 100 year war fighting the wrong people in the wrong country.
I’m not saying that John McCain is not a nice man.
But I don’t want him in charge of my pocketbook.
We have had 8 years with a moron at the helm it’s time to get some new blood in the white house.
And this is from a white, 60 year old Republican, woman!
And I am supporting Barack Obama

They are having a membership drive.
You may purchase a white robe and hood to wear to Obama’s inauguration on their website.

Have the American people forgotten?

Impeachment,
I have never had sex with that woman!
Paula Jones,
Jennifer Flowers,
Monica Lewinski,
And Vince Foster’s mysterious death!
I would now wish to see another administration overshadowed with
Scandal upon scandal.

The only way Hillary could win the primary if a Vince Foster happened to Obama.
I guess that is the miracle she is waiting for.
And I for one am terrified that is what the Clinton Machine is planning again.
Thank You Clintons8:12PMApr 15th 2008
Could it be that the American people know that if it was not for the Clinton’s filth and scandals that Al Gore would be completing his second term in office.

Two Clinton’s for the price of one?
For them it is a win – win situation.
Hillary is against shipping Jobs over seas.
And Bill earned $800,000 lobbying for trade agreements.
So what this nation needs is a first husband that will work to ship our jobs off shore?

I find it fascinating that the only dirt they can get on Barack Obama is that of his Pastor (not neccesarily a reflection of himself)...........and, hanging on an occasional word or phrase in a speech of his. That tells me that this man is the right guy for the job. Usually by now, they are slinging all kinds of "mud". Americans don't give a shit about bitter comments...............better move on haters.

USA Today:
Three days' worth of polling after the news broke that Sen. Barack Obama said some small-town voters are "bitter," he has edged out to his largest lead yet in Gallup's daily national tracking survey.
Gallup says Obama leads Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton 51%-40% according to its Saturday-Monday poll of 1,312 Democrats and voters who "lean" Democratic. Yesterday, Obama lead 50%-40% (matching what had been his largest lead until today). The margin of error: +/- 3 percentage points.

Hillary Clinton is the biggest elitist of all- she has managed to elevate herself into an elite group of two- above the Rule of Law and unaccountable to the government and the media- three special prosecutors confirmed that while Hillary may be indictable for perjury and obstructions of justice she has directed, she can never be convicted by any jury in America. See www.paulvclinton.com to learn of the unprecedented corruption and illegality directed by Hillary to obtain the largest contribution to her 2000 Senate race ($1.2 million) and the cover-up rivalling Watergate that Hillary directed to hide her role in the illegal solicitation and coordination of that contribution.

Lets see, he turned off people who are true church goers, the military and their families and friends from WWI, Korea,Vietnam,Iraq, etc. when he silently and complacently, stayed in a so called church when the Damning of America was being spewed instead of standing up for America! He turned off voters in Pennsylvania!!!!Voters in Michigan and Florida aren't happy with him either!! He married a woman who was not proud ever to be an American til recently...for the FIRST TIME in fourty some years!!!...He showed no respect for his grandmother, he puts down his mothers race(white) in his book about his father who he honors!!???...because his father left him at age 1!!!!!??? Sounds like MISPLACED PRIORITIES to me!!!!
He says he is the change candidate and you know he does change his words to fit the audience!!!CHANGES his words and spins the original.....hides the rest in so called church!!! Change we can do without!!!
VOTE HILLARY FOR AMERICA and for AMERICANS!!!!

Yes we Blue Collar Americans are Bitter !!!!!!!!!! with this kind of Leadership and Trade Agreements that favor Big Biz and the Enablers of Washington , as they get paid with Speaking Fees , like Bill Clinton getting 800,000 by Columbia for saying and enabling what they want , but to heck with the American Workers , and our ability to Compete as these guys can manipulate our Markets with their lower valued Currency , when are we all going to have the same priced Currency Values all over the world so we all then can just compete with our talents ??? Whats the point of a Good Education ,when we are faced with Currency manipulation that out competes our talents ???????, why wouldn't we be Bitter as heck ??? Clintons Trade agreements not setting bench marks for Currency Manipulators who enable Multi-National Corporate mporters to wipe out the Mom and Pops stores over the years , Republicans continue this unfair trade agreement , OBAMAS Right on the Message about being Bitter , Bitter as Heck !!!!

NPR's Juan Williams hit the nail on the head when he said that "e chose to be associated with Reverend Wright and saw advantage in it. And that?s why he exploited it up to a point when he realized, especially when he was announcing, that he couldn?t have Wright by his side for the announcement in Springfield and now seeks to somehow distance himself. But it speaks to his character, and it speaks to the judgment which is the basis on which Barack Obama has been running his campaign." Senator Obama is a great orator but he won't be able to cover this up with another great speech. It's just to hard too believe that the man that Obama calls his spiritual mentor never shared these incendiary beliefs with Obama or that Obama never heard them in person. He's trying to talk his way out of a situation that he should have walked away from years ago and publicly denounced then. He has donated large sums of money to Trinity. Much of that money comes from his job as US Senator and that salary is paid by tax payers many of who fought in wars. This is a sad development indeed. Regarding Obama's war record, Fournier does an excellent job debunking that with the following comment: "While he deserves credit for forecasting the complications of war in 2002, Obama's opposition carried scant political risk because he was a little-known state lawmaker courting liberal voters in Illinois. In 2004, when denouncing the war and war-enabling Democrats would have jeopardized his prized speaking role at the Democratic National Convention, Obama ducked the issue." Everything will go well. Best wishes to all the people. I just get this news, people on a celebrity and millionaire dating site called wealthysoulmate.com have been talking about it. It's said there are lots of models or even Hollywood star on that site. The rumor says Charlie Sheen found his love on that site last May.

Personally I think the "Annie Oakley" comment is just digging Obama deeper. Nevertheless, here's what Annie Oakley sang to her male competitor in the Broadway musical "Annie Get Your Gun." Appropriate, don't you think?
Anything you can do,
I can do better.
I can do anything
Better than you.
No, you can't.
Yes, I can. No, you can't.
Yes, I can. No, you can't.
Yes, I can,
Yes, I can!
Anything you can be
I can be greater.
Sooner or later,
I'm greater than you.
No, you're not. Yes, I am.
No, you're not. Yes, I am.
No, you're NOT!. Yes, I am.
Yes, I am!
