Here's the question for tomorrow's poll. CAN THE HOT SEAT POLL ASK ANY MORE STUPID AND/OR BIASED QUESTIONS. Your choices are:
Yes, they still have a lot more idiots on their staff.
No, even people working there refuse to do this any longer.
Who cares about this idiocy.
I believe this will result in an overwhelming vote for "Yes, they still have a lot more idiots on their staff".
Everyone, vote now.

I am one of the "I quit watching debates" voters. I am sick of this election and I will be glad when I don't have to hear anymore. These candidates act more like children than adults!!

Peggy, Yes is my answer. Todays question is stupid and biased. What are they getting at with the flag pins? My husband and I both wear flag pins. It is a choice. Does not make you unamerican if you don't wear one, but what does it have to do with debates. Did I miss something?
bob2:21PMApr 17th 2008
The no choice is so stupid as if they only asked about flag pins. I see why it was brought up, Obama is the one that made a big deal about why he wouldnt wear one now all of the sudden he has one on whats the deal. You are just upset because they didnt ask obama if he wanted his pillow fluffed. Grow up, its not the moderators job to throw softball questions at the candidates because they prefer one over the other. We saw how real journalism is done. It was Great and one of the best debates.
H.Catherine2:21PMApr 17th 2008
The media is in complete control of the debates and
show they are leaning to Obama making it a one-sided
unfair event.
TypicalAmerican2:22PMApr 17th 2008
Why can't the answers just be a simple yes, or no on these polls.
However,
Watching the Democrats Debate;
As anyone else noticed that when Obama is asked a question he wants
to pull Hillary down instead of just answering the question.
He reminds me of a third grader that can't wait to be a tattle-tail.
Hillary answered the questions, without putting Obama down, Why could
he not show her the same respect?
spike2:22PMApr 17th 2008
Sara.your question is terrible !! We need a choice of answers that allows to let the world know what we thought of the 2 losers last night. The only winner was the Republican Party because the Democratic one showed their buffoonery last night. I recommend the Decmocrats find a new candidate (bring back Kerry or Gore) because neither Clinton nor Obama can compete with the anti-American baggage they're carrying.
mel2:22PMApr 17th 2008
After last night- I AM VOTING HILARY.
Osama dodged the flag question [again] fo rthe last time and who is he really??? Since we do not know, I cannot trust him and will NOT VOTE OSAMA
Valerie2:22PMApr 17th 2008
Well...I was wondering when the negativity concerning Hillary was going to start today. Since it's pretty much clear from the pundits and broadcasters that Hillary won that debate, now the debate was the worst one ever. What a coincidence.
Why doesn't the media just go ahead and accuse Hillary of the Kennedy assassination? The media has thrown everything else into a negative spin concerning her...why not fire some big guns.

Peggy
Are you surprised that someone who bills herself as a wonkette has enjoys taking biased polls. Sara K thinks that if she has her pic taken looking like a little girl then people will equate that to intelligence. I guess I know know why the US is lagging in scholarship and why we have to import trained experts from other countries. What a flake she is.
Marie Roberts2:25PMApr 17th 2008
So, when the questions are directed at Obama, and "are unfairly asked", then the debate is bad. When the same is true for Clinton, then it is okay? Obama should quit crying and the public should realize that "the devil you know is better than the devil you don't know!".

As a Bush supporter, I'm appalled
KSun, I am also appalled that you are a Bush supporter. He has been one of the most worthless, dumbasses we had to look at for eight years. No wonder Letterman features one of his dumbass moments every night. Vote Democrate in 2008
J delaney2:26PMApr 17th 2008
It's not about him not wearing the pin as to the reason he does not wear the pin! He is running to be the Pres of this country and he doesn't want to offend the people that do not agree with this countrys policies????????????????????????????
Good God .....he is so pathetic and un-electable!
Linda2:26PMApr 17th 2008
KSun, are you for real? Come out from under the rock you've planted yourself. . . Obama the antichrist? What next? People like you need education to form real opinions.
Fran2:27PMApr 17th 2008
The debate was a big waste of time.. we already know that Senator Obama can defend himself and we know that Senator Clinton cannot tell the truth!
It's over...
bttohr6232:28PMApr 17th 2008
No matter how you vote in this poll, it is a negative vote. I thought it was a good debate but I don't think flag pins are crucial.
Valerie2:28PMApr 17th 2008
One thing that was funny, though, was when they asked both candidates how they would use George W. Bush during their administration.
They looked at each other like..."Hmm...can you take this one? I can't think of an answer."
Deborah2:29PMApr 17th 2008
This debate was completely ridiculous. It wasn't a debate; it was a sucker punch. Charles Gibson and George Stephanopolous acted like bullies ganging up on the popular kid, and Hillary jumped on every opening they gave her to join the fray against Obama. I don't know why they didn't think those tactics wouldn't backfire on them. Hillary will suffer for this, and I hope Gibson and Stephanopolous do as well; they have no business being called journalists. They did a huge disservice to themselves, the candidates, and the voting public last night; not to mention the news media; it already has enough problems with perpetuating drama and garbage. I am totally boycotting ABC after this debacle.
Lynne2:29PMApr 17th 2008
Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulis were a disaster as moderators> Who needs Fox News when you have these two baffoons! Tabloid journalism and truly ugly.

As a Bush supporter, I'm appalled by how softball the questions were for Obama! They totally ignored all of the deeply disturbing questions that Americans like me demand to have answered...shame on you ABC! Anyhow, here are the IMPORTANT questions that Good Ole Charlie should've asked:
1) Senator Osama, there have been several rumors about your involvement in Satan worship lately; in fact, many people even say Senator Obama that you are the ANTICHRIST, how do you respond to these rumors that you are in fact yourself the ANTICHRIST? Isn't it true that you did not attend church services this weekend? Just for the record, Senator Clinton was seen attending church this weekend and so was Senator McCain. Don't you love Jesus, Senator Obama?
2) Senator Obama, it has been widely reported that Jane Fonda has endorsed you for President of the United States. As we know, Hanoi Jane is a dirty hippy pinko from way back in the day when she stood on a tank and pledged allegiance to Ho Chi Minh while Senator McCain was being tortured. How do you respond to criticisms that your candidacy has allowed someone like Fonda to support you? Weren't you once at a Hollywood party in which Fonda was also in attendance? How do you explain this association?
3) Senator Clinton has pledged to nuke Iran into oblivion with 200,000 nukes, but you haven't stated yet exactly how many nukes you would consider to be enough to show our indignity. So, Senator Obama, specifically how many nukes do you consider to be proper amount to blast Iran into oblivion? Is it 200,000 or 250,000? Why won't you give a specific answer on this? Why do you keep defending the Iranian interests? Are you an Iranian sympathizer, Senator Obama?
