I HATE OBAMA.
dee8:56AMApr 23rd 2008
the obama camp turns every criticism into "racism" and has black ministers telling their congragations to vote for him because he's"one of them". who is playing the race card?
SweetPea9:03AMApr 23rd 2008
As far as I am concerned Hillary thanked everyone with the words Thank all of you. Why does she need to thank any one person when it took alot more than one person to win pennsylvania. Why don´t you dam reporters get off her back. She is dammed when she does and dammed when she doesn´t. No one says anything about the comments made from the other side such as not to many catholic voters in PA are well educated or Obama is reaching out to the well educated. Come Nov, I hope each and everyone of your kind have to eat crow or learn once and for all that America was not founded on the dollar but from the sweat of the forefathers of every living American today. Take the Kennedy´s who never got a blister on their finger from working hard or struggled to pay a bill and leave us poor uneducated people put that person in office who will do the best for us and not for you. That person is Hillary Clinton.
Jeffrey E9:04AMApr 23rd 2008
Look, when you out spend someone 3 to 1, you run 89 ad's, and you spend 11 million and you're the leading Democrat, and you're trying that hard to win Pennsylvania, and then get stomped, you're simply unelectable. Obama can spin this all he wants, but the simple reality is this, Barack Obama is not electable.
We're not talking Kansas, Utah, Idaho, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, SC, NC, Alaska, Louisiana, states that will never EVER go Democratic in November, we're talking about Pennsylvania here.
Democrats would be idiots to nominate this guy. Yes, he can tug on the heart strings in speeches, but so can used car salesmen, when they're trying to sale a Pinto.
Lynn9:06AMApr 23rd 2008
To sum up the previous person's post, if Obama does not win, the blacks will be so ticked McCain will win?
I'm just trying to understand your post...
The bottom line, as wonderful as everyone thinks it is that for the first time in History a black man and a white women are running for President, for the sake of getting the current regime out of office, these "firsts" should not have happened at the same time. Each candidate represents a lot to a certain segment of the population that should they have been allowed to come together, would have been unstoppable.
Obama's supporters played right into the puppeteers hands when they encouraged the very jr. senator to run for office so soon at this political juncture.
I am not writing this for or against Obama, I am writing this in an objective manner with the eye on the ultimate goal.
I realize of course that emotions' play a large part and renders this a moot point.
The damage is done.
Nancy Gemmer9:06AMApr 23rd 2008
You are incorrect and biased, sir, I heard Hillary Clinton thank the mayor of Philadelphia for his support. She will make a great President of the United States.
segrid9:06AMApr 23rd 2008
i am glad the people spoke in penn. the real working people . go hillary . the republicans did not have a chance to go vote for obama to prevent her from getting the nomination , because they know she can beat them in november .thanks segrid from florida

(guess by the time it posted, it wasn't the "previous person's post). I meant Asok's.
Jeffrey E9:09AMApr 23rd 2008
Asok, you're lying, she has thanked the voters in states she has lost repeatedly, and she thanked mayor Nutter last night, and shook her head doing so adamently in fact. Goes to show you another example of why people don't like your guy, you're a huge liar.
Tarheel9:24AMApr 23rd 2008
I don't think it's racism or negative campaigning to have legitimate questions about this Obama guy's patriotism. Michelle Obama's comment, Bill Ayers, the Weather underground network, Rev. Wright said "G-D damn America" and Obama's response was, he wasn't aware after 17 yrs that his church was like that. Rezco has some shady dealings and statements in his background. Throw in the fact that up until after Obama had the worst political beatdown of his career last night, that was the first time I personally have heard him say God Bless America. I do know when he stood at the pledge of allegiance, he had his arms crossed, and I do know he never wore the American flag until a veteran asked him to, and then he did it. Sorry, no matter how much Obama and his supporters make racist statements, trying to guilt trip whites and infuriate blacks, this voter does have legitimate questions that will not go away through manipulation tactics.
AnneMarie9:33AMApr 23rd 2008
If the Press had been more responsible and exposed Obama earlier he would NEVER have won as many states as he did. The media suppressed the information for months and let voters be decieved. They attacked Hilary and puffed up Obama trying to run this election. Voters deserved to be informed of Obama's associations with Anti American, racist, white hating, criminals and terrorists. It goes to the man's judgement of who he chooses to be in the company with.
We raise our children and especially when they become teenagers to choose their friends wisely. We encourage them to associate with families who have the same morals and values we raise them with. We teach them you can and may be judged by the company you keep. If they are in the company of gangs, drug dealers, dishonest, irresponsible people they too will be judged along side them. It is basic common sense.
We choose our church and spiritual guides and mentors because we see in them what we ourselves are looking for and already believe. We introduce our children at the earliest ages to our beliefs by bringing them to our church and allow them to be taught our religion and faith. We surround them with our church community by going to functions, services and even bible studies so they can see what our faith is. So when Obama says he attended Trinity for 20 yrs and didn't hear those hate filled sermons and that he doesn't share the same beliefs as Rev Wright it is hard for me as a Christian religious person to understand WHY keep attending that church? In all my years attending mass for over 50 yrs I have never ever heard my priest, pastor or deacon spew hatred or Anti American remarks in the name of Christianity or in the name of scripture or in the name of Jesus Christ. For me... to spend one second spewing hatred to bring home a message of love is counter reactive.
It would be like us tearing our children down just to build them up. Where is the common sense in this? Where is the trust we would want them to have in us? What is the message? Jesus taught.. to love thy neighbor. Jesus taught... to forgive thy tresspassers. According to Rev WRight he is teaching his congregation to avenge the white people and the Americans for the wrong they did against their race hundreds of years ago. He is promoting hatred for oppression. I hear HATE and AVENGE in his attitude. How can Obama ask us to believe in him when we can't even understand his explanation of "WHY" he stayed in Trinity for 20 yrs and allowed his children to be exposed to this hatred? Michelle Obama has expressed her unpatriotic feelings, and how does one chose a spouse with feelings counter to your own?
Obama has more to come, the media has more and are sitting on it. The media didn't mind attacking Hilary or John McCain with very little to go on, yet with facts they chose to suppress exposing Obama.
If Obama loses this nomination the blacks have NO ONE to be upset with and blame but OBAMA himself. He did a good job going around promising NEW, HOPE and CHANGE when all along he has been your "TYPICAL" politician. He gave Americans false hope. He is NOT strong enough to weather a vetted debate how could he expect Americans to trust he could handle even more difficult situations if he were President. He faltered, stammered, stuttered and literally fell flat on his face in that last debate. He showed if he does not have a speech written by some great writer and a teleprompter to read it from he can NOT deliver intellible words on his own. He fumbled explaining his tax cuts.
Obama whined the next day and went out making jokes and mocked Hilary. He blamed Charlie and George two of the most respected Newsmen in the country of being too hard on him. He accused them of setting him up with a "gottcha" strategy. Blaming others is Obama's game plan. To blame Charlie and George just showed America that he is never willing to take any responsiblity for his own words and actions.
Obams said early on, "Words matter." Well we have heard his words and in Pennsylvania, Ohio, California, Texas, Florida, Michigan, and all the other states he has heard "their words" NO Obama and YES Hilary. This race is far from over and those out there yelling for Hilary to step down because she is hurting the democratic party.....Shhhhhhh because she is NOT going anywhere. The Americans WANT her to stay in and there are 9 more states who deserve to have their words heard. Obama is not viable, he is not electable and he has hurt his ownself. Don't blame anyone but Obama if he is not the nominee. If anyone wants to vent their anger as the newsmen and politic wolves suggest if he does not make it there will be rioting in the streets..........just turn your anger toward the person who deserves it..Obama. He is the one who lied to America, he is the one who caused the American people to mistrust him, he is the one who in the last debate showed he is weak and undecisive. NO ONE is stealing this nomination from him...........HE IS THE ONE TO BLAME...no matter how much fear the media is trying to inflict on Americans if he is not handed over this nomination.
We have had 7 years of an administration holding us hostage out of their scare tactics and fear tactics. We are NOT willing to be victims any longer out of FEAR. I have a whole lot more faith in Americans whether they are black, white, red, yellow of blue....to accept who ever is the nominee and to join together to get the republicans OUT of the white house and as Hilary put it, "Take back this country."
YES WE WILL, Words will be solutions and hope will be reality!!! YES WE WILL!!!!
Georgette9:34AMApr 23rd 2008
Hillary Cliton, has been and is working very hard through this campaign for the American people. She will work even harder for us Americans when she is President. Go Hillary. Our faith in you has NEVER waivered.
Wolf9:35AMApr 23rd 2008
Listen people, regardless of weather or not Obama loses the big states to Hillary, doesn't mean that those states will automaticly go to McBush in November. Honestly, do you really believe that the ultra-liberal state of California will go to McBush just because Clinton lost the nomination? Did anyone pay attention to the fact that 1 in 10 voters were Republicans that registered as Democrats so they could vote yesterday? Who do you think they supported, when you have morons like Rush(pill popper) Lipoff telling his fellow neo-cons to vote for Hillary? Everytime she wins a big state(Ohio,Penn) it's because Republicans continue to interfeer in the Democrats primary, but come November they'll be voting for McBush. So, obviously her argument that Obama can't win the big states is nothing but BS, besides GW lost more big states than he won, yet we unfotunatly ended up stuck with that stupid moron for 4 more years.
Michael Starkey9:38AMApr 23rd 2008
Wake up America, obama is a musilm, what does it take, a bullet in the head for you to understand? this guy is bad news, and i for one dont want him to have his finger on the nucular button.
Georgette9:42AMApr 23rd 2008
Well said AnneMarie. I agree 100%
Wanda9:44AMApr 23rd 2008
The greatest threat to Obama is TIME. All Hillary needs to do and maintain a respectable, hopefully better than, for the remaining primaries. By June 3, the superdelegates will do one of three things: (1)they will accede to her point - Obama cannot be elected in the general election due his own baggage and his failure to attract the core of the Democratic constituency; (2) they will reluctantly agree to support his candidacy rather than lose their own political futures, or (3) they will hang on until the Convention.
If they vote in Obama, however, without factoring in Michigan and Florida, they realize that those two states will be lost in Nov. I'm betting that the remaining Supers will wait until the convention, have the Credentials Committee bring up the two states, where a vote IN PUBLIC guarantees their being seated, and allow Hillary the win. Once there, Obama will be offered the VP ticket, as sanity should have seen it months ago.
nancy petersen9:50AMApr 23rd 2008
Ethically she is wanting and unless Americans don't have values then can they vote for her in the general elections.
How stupid, the republicans spent 100 million tax dollars trying to sink the Clintons and could not do it, now we have Obama an inexperienced jr Senator with membership in a racist, angry church damning America, elitist attitude, with social democratic ties, mentored by communist influences, and with a shady real estate deal hanging over his head wanting to be president. Talk about "Swift Boat" fodder, the republicans will make mince meat of him.
Jeffrey E9:53AMApr 23rd 2008
Wolf, you seem to be missing the point. We're not talking about states like NY and Cali that will obviously go Democratic,we're talking about states like Florida,Ohio, and Pennsylvania which are states that go either way. those states as we have learned from the last 3 general elections are what decides the election. Obviously the Republicans will cover their usual southern and midwestern states, especially with Obama as the nominee. So the deciding factor is the middle of the road states, and Hillary Clinton runs much better in those states than Obama does. In order for Obama to overcome that, he would have to somehow break in to states like SC or Texas, and that simply isn't going to happen no matter what the polls may say in April.

The question here is, after all this miasma, will Hillary Clinton be tha eventual democratic nominee? The answer is no. Mathematically she is out. Ethically she is wanting and unless Americans don't have values then can they vote for her in the general elections. There is this adage that goes thus," remember to be kind to the people you meet on your way up, because you will meet these same people on your way down". Hillary Clinton has never thanked the voters in states where she lost and hopes to win in these states in the general election. Another case in point is tha fact that, during her victory speech in pennsylvania, she thanked the governor and lieutenant governor of pennsylvania without rendering thanks to the mayor of philadelphia for his support. If people deliberately turn blind eye to these vices of Hillary Clinton, then I wonder what values they possess if at all they do have values. The democratic party should understand that, John McCain is a candidate who appeals to Americans from both parties, he is a truthful person and stands a chance of getting the black vote in november if Obama is not the democratic nominee. I know some biggots would think that, without black votes any candidate can win the general election. Black votes are usually the tie breaker, so if the so called pundits, especially CNN journalist who clearly have shown that, despite their prentence, they are Clinton surrogates, think that African Americans are not sensitive to the negative attacks on Obama by Clinton, come November the ballot box shall tell. This is a big test for the democratic party, a make or break teast indeed. If the Clintons raise the argument that Obama can not win in november and this flimsy argument is bought by the superdelegates and Hillary becomes the nominee, the would be the beginning of the end of the democratic party. The eventual result will be a victory for John McCain because he can be equally appealing to African Americans.
