Rove is Right on Obama
That super-spooky, evil-genius, Lord-of-the-Sith GOP-mastermind Karl Rove, so despised and feared on the left, has again offered his unsolicited insights on the present condition of the Democratic primary. And, once again, Rove makes clear why the left so hates and loathes him - he is dead on in his analysis.
Rove begins... well, where Rove begins: Voter demographics. Despite outspending Clinton 3-1 and enjoying a 4%-5% lead in the days just prior to the election, Obama lost by 10% and failed to seal-the-deal with critical white, suburban votes.
The looming potential for disaster should have Democrats wringing their hands in fret. " Mr. Obama is near victory in the Democratic contest," Rove notes. However, Obama's"conduct in the last several weeks raises questions about whether, for all his talents, he is ready to be president."
Rove's perceptions on Obama's descent are enlightening.
And what of the reborn Adlai Stevenson? Mr. Obama is befuddled and angry about the national reaction to what are clearly accepted, even commonplace truths in San Francisco and Hyde Park. . . . Mr. Obama has a weakness among blue-collar working class voters for a reason.
His inspiring rhetoric is a potent tool for energizing college students and previously uninvolved African-American voters. But his appeals are based on two aspirational pledges he is increasingly less credible in making.
Mr. Obama's call for postpartisanship looks unconvincing, when he is unable to point to a single important instance in his Senate career when he demonstrated bipartisanship. And his repeated calls to remember Dr. Martin Luther King's "fierce urgency of now" in tackling big issues falls flat as voters discover that he has not provided leadership on any major legislative battle.
Naturally, there must be an inquiry into the motivation of such a contribution to the intellectual debate surrounding the Democratic contest from the dark overlord of the vast-right-wing-conspiracy. If Rove has an ulterior motive, it may be simply to articulate, via obvious perceptions and clear reasoning, the newly emergent truths: "The Democratic Party has two weakened candidates," and Obama may not be "ready for prime-time."

So since when has Rove ever said any thing good about any democrate? Has the swift boating of John Kerry all of a sudden been lost to our memories? Rove obviously is no friend of any democrate and will stop at nothing to make sure the republicans hold onto the Presidency. He should be in jail for outing a CIA operative, He would proububly lie even if he was sworn in at a trial or hearing.

It is about time for us Hillary-Haters to speak out for Obama. We know in our hearts that he would be more electable than Hillary. Even the elected democrats don't like Bill and Hillary because of their dishonesty and lack of loyalty. They don't want to be the next Vince Foster or Ron Brown. And, Hillary said "Screw Them" to the white southern voters. That makes me mad, too!

Rove at first supported Obama but that was before all this truth about him came out. It makes alot of people finally take one step back and really look a the fast talking big worded do nothinger.

Presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., is favored to win North Carolina, the largest prize among the contests. North Carolina is holding a wild card, new law allows unregistered voters to sign up and vote on the same day through May 3. Polling sites have been flooded since they opened last week and by midafternoon Wednesday, more than 74,700 "one-stop" ballots had been cast — about eight times higher than during the 2006 primary. North Carolina's Board of Elections also announced that an additional 8,400 absentee ballots have been collected.

Obama is the target of a smear campaign launched by white bigots who are in denial about their racism and their hypocrisy. Narrow-minded, beady-eyed rednecks keep harping on bs issues as a means of leading other narrow-minded, beady-eyed rednecks by the nose. Hillary is a liar and an abomination. Karl Rove is a murderer and a theif. George Bush is incompetent. Dick Cheny is an unholy mass of quivering compost.
This country should be proud to have produced a class act such as Barack Obama.
Get with it whiteys. Your days of ruining the world with your greed, your lies and your hatred are nearly at end. If there is a God, you white guys have a rueful judgement day coming.

OPEN LETTER TO NC and IN SUPERDELEGATES:
Dear Superdelegate:
As a fellow American who loves our country as you do, I am asking for your endorsement of Hillary Clinton prior to your state's primary. I truly believe the events of the last few weeks have raised too many questions that need to be answered before Obama is ready to be President of the United States. The concerns related to his former pastor, as well as several recent statements that offended groups of Democrats in areas vital to a national win, are examples of political inexperience that will be fodder for the Republicans next November.
I fully understand that it was his pastor, not Obama himself, who made anti-American, racist remarks from the pulpit. However, it concerns me that Obama continued to attend, and to expose his young children, to such rhetoric. One of the strengths frequently touted about Obama is his good judgment, but this issue raises questions about his judgment.
Please understand that I am not suggesting that Obama himself is necessarily anti-American or racist. Rather, I’m saying that we just don’t know him well enough yet. I would have no problem voting for a Clinton/Obama ticket, where Obama would have eight years to demonstrate his abilities and his character.
In this important time in our nation’s history, we need more than the audacity of hope to make this transition to a new administration a safe and smooth one. We need someone who understands the political machine that is Washington D.C. and has the tools to work for change within that political machine. We need Hillary Clinton in 2008!
Thank you for your consideration of my thoughts.

What are all you foolish sounding boiler maker fans celebrating over? Your Clinton hen only plucked off 10 delegate feathers in the primary race Tuesday. Cause we live in Tar Heel Country doesn't mean we are so backward that we can't count or read. If you have a phone, pick it up and call the election board and ask them how many delegates Clinton plucked off.

PETE: If the unelectability of the two democratic candidates is a newly emergent truth, why isn't this truth emerging in poll numbers?
REPLY: Both Democratic Candidates will not be electable by the time the Democratic Convention rolls around and they are still "knife fighting", there will be no time to bandage the wounds. If the Super-Delegates over-ride the "Will of the people" the Democratic Party may no longer exist.
For a growing number of years Democratics have been exiting the party and our Independent ranks are swelling. The Black-Afro-Americans, will become Independents and then a "New Independent" party movement will be a "New Independent Party Fact".
Your party needs to end this or Clinton, (FOC)Friends of Clintons, The Democratic Party and the race relations in The United States will all suffer and thats just to begin with.
Not a newly emergent truth, but an emerging one, not born but on its way to delivery.

Justin, I find it strange that you critisize the aol bloggers but you are here reading and contributing to this site, your thoughts on Karl Rove are interesting but not very bright if you think the architect that gave us two yrs or a loser is without merit your outright nuts this guy has the most experience of all the journalist, and pundents. Not that i like his views but take note anyone who does not listen and pay attention to what this man says is Nuts.

Heh you chicken poopers, your hen did not do so well on Tuesday. We can read and write too down here in Tar Heel Country, she only plucked off 10 delegate feathers and that didn't feather her nest. Obama plucked that hen and will pluck her some more. That hen will need an overcoat when she leaves here.

D.L. Graham,
I'd like to point out that your analysis and Justin's analysis are completely different. He is referring to the newly discovered "unelectability" while you are talking about possible hazards to the future of the democratic party. I'm not going to debate the merits of your argument (which you do make an interesting one in your mentioning of voter disenfranchisement). Instead, I'll just stress that by me disagreeing with Justin, I am not necessarily disagreeing or agreeing with you. So, don't take my post as a slight or anything like that.

The reason the Democratic party is falling apart is they have gone so far to the left that even the liberals of moderation will not follow the Siros's and the Oprah's of the world we do not need them picking our president.

And, Hillary said "Screw Them" to the white southern voters. That makes me mad, too! If you add the facts that Hillary and Bill invited both Tony Rezko and Rev Wright to the Clinton white house, you can see the Clinton's pattern of corruption. How about a plaque in the Lincoln Bedroom that says "Jeremiah Wright and Tony Rezko slept here?" If young black men had heros to look up to rather than just the hip hop agitators they would not be so violent.
DontThinkSo1:25PMApr 24th 2008
"Mr. Obama has a weakness among blue-collar working class voters for a reason."
That is precisely what will do him in...the middle class have been squeezed too long.
His appeal to blacks, wealthy, and young people will not cut it for their numbers are too small.

Justin,
Just one look at Rove's words here leads me to believe that he has an ulterior motive for these insights.
For one, Rove is no idiot. He is practically a genius when it comes to the affairs of campaigning. That being said, his observation of Obama's failure to capture PA is simplistic and largely inaccurate. Obama, with all the money and time he invested into PA, managed to scrape his way up from over a 30% deficit to a 9% deficit.
Is Rove, someone who is generally pretty spot on when it comes to the ways of campaigning, just flat out wrong here? Well, yes and no. He obviously doesn't mean what he says here, and it is obviously innacurate to any serious scrutiny. On the other hand, it is this point that reveals his ulterior motive. He is saying what it takes to help ensure a republican victory in November. What better way to do this then to seed the idea of a flawed democratic candidate? Karl knows for a fact that the media outlets and the casual voter will not provide the serious scrutiny needed to see past his words, and that will serve to be a huge advantage.
Likewise, polls continue to show the democratic candidates running even with the republican candidate. In fact, I'd go as far to say that these constant poll results are evidence of your shoddy analysis, Justin. If the unelectability of the two democratic candidates is a newly emergent truth, why isn't this truth emerging in poll numbers?
I just have to say, while I routinely disagree (sometimes vehemently) with the bloggers on AOL, I almost always find your analysis to be superficial and weak.
