No excuse was necessary for the racists. They needed the excuses to persuade others. The status quo will prevail after all. Any candidate that is a threat to big money and corporations who have not only infiltrated government but are the government will be destroyed.

This man presented hope for the nation. The sad thing about it is that we will continue to shed our blood and support our country in conflicts all over the world and return to the arrogance of the ruling class.

They will always keep us divided and controlled because those few trickle down enough to keep the majority saying, at least they aren't black and they are doing better than blacks.

The big oil and big money and corporations don't give a damn about the masses of people or the Earth except that their profits continue to roll in.

Of course, Barack has a right to be angry. Jeremiah Wright is purposefully injecting himself into the presidential campaign to get his 15 minutes. He is risking injuring a candidate who's policies would be most favorable to the people Wright claims to be trying to help, just for his ego and fame. Do you think maybe its God opening Obama's eyes? Why do you think Karl Rove is gving Obama ways to win back th Nod? The Repubs have soi much stuff on Obama, even THEY will do anything to have him go toe to toe with McCain so they can CRUSH him and get another 4-8 yrs in the White House. many times over the past 30 years at my church i have disagreed with my pastors sermons; but that does not cause me to leave my church. your church is where you worship your god with your friends and family, not where you go to support your pastor and his sermons.

If the "POWER that BE" can win at this old game, then "WE" will continue to fight against one another and refuse to UNTIFY, failing to stay focus on the issues that effect "US" as a whole.

They really want "US", - 'everyone who's truly ready for a CHANGE' to jump ship, from what "WE" share in common and derail the "Power of UNITY" with this one detraction, which really will NOT hold no value after the presidential election.

If "WE" in the year 2008..., as an "IntelligentTHINKING" American, 'Caucasian, Black, Hispanics, Asian and et al can't see straight through this today..., let's NOT discuss our level of intelligent tomorrow.

Since Mr.Obama is so outraged with Rev. Wright's comments perhaps he should hold a press conference to state that he is withdrawing his membership from the Church where Rev. Wright served as the former Pastor. Quite frankly, I believe that any one who uses Rev. Wright's comments as a reason for not voting for Obama probably was not going to vote for him any way.
The Obama camp should use its media outlets and contacts to expose Fox News for not informing its viewing and reading and listening audience that the statements made during a sermon by Rev. Wright which were aired by its network contained quotes from a former White American Ambasador named Edward Peck. In addition Mr. Peck made his statements about the condemnation of America on Fox News after 9/11/01. I find it ironic that certain media outlets have asked why Obama did not state that some of his comments in some of his previous statements were quotes from some political associates. However, these same media outlets have not taken Fox News to task
for not informing the public that comments made in a sermon by Rev. Wright were quotes taken from a white man named Edward Peck who is a former American Ambassador.

It is quite obivious that certain media outlets are going to continue to bring up this topic. It hopes it can use it as a distraction from other more crucial issues in this 2008 campaign for Presidnet of the United States.

Is the Obama camp afraid of Fox News. There is a common phrase that has been used for years. "Sly as a Fox" How appropriate. I will vote for the Candidate who I believe can best lead this country based on his or her own ability. Not based on a sermon or any other comments made by some one else.

I am now doing some research into an allegation regarding Senator Clinton's affiliation with a Pastor who has been accused and perhaps charged with sexual molestation.

I am also doing some research to find out how many elected officials have denouced the Catholic Church and has actually left the Catholic church because certain Priest have been accused and in some cases deemded guilty of sexual molestation.

Has anyone asked Senator Clinton why she has not left her husband for his act or acts of adultry?

We cannot stop the exploitation of the peoples of the rest of the world because we cannot stop the exploitation being done to ourselves. The peoples of the rest of the world see us as the new communists, spreading our form of government through war. We will bomb them into democracy. What is actually in the interest of big money and big corporations is done in the name of the people of the United States of America. Is it not obvious that the Bush's are and have friends in the oil industry and that we have conflicts with OPEC members when they are in power?

I wish Obama was not Black so that they could not use race as an excuse to get people not to elect him.

I don't know how this preacher side show can be overcome but I wonder how many people think that the Pope or the Catholic church is a molester of boys because of the association with those priest that are or were.

Those in power do not have our interests on their agenda.

McCain is not as bad as other "money party" candidates but his legacy is that of military people and we do not need his legacy to be our destiny. He has stated that war is his answer to our problems. If the choice is between Hillary or McCain, it is a vote against McCain not really a vote for Hillary.

Heaven help us PLEASE.

Wright has been staged all along. Isn't the timing of Rev. Wright's reappearance convenient? Obama needs an opportunity to denounce Wright more forcefully before Indiana and North Carolina and voila! Rev Wright reappears. Wright is Obama's sacrificial lamb going into Indianan and North Carolina and Obama's denunciation is another one of his tactics to deceive the public..
