It is sad. There are many obstacles/opportunities in our lives that others may see as silly, something to be made fun of, easy to get over etc. Obviously a woman in great pain. Here was a human being with her back against the wall, who apparently felt suicide was her only option.

That is sad. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

My condolences and sorrow for the family of Deborah Jeane Palfrey and her mother. I am sad and feel for her family. In my eyes she had done nothing wrong....There needs to be something changed about how we view prostitution between consulting adults. In some countries its legal and safe. Yet, the system was ready to lock her up for 55 years, mostly because she had names of so-called honest polititions....How can the system abuse, imprison women who gives us consulting adults what we need and enjoy, yet will only parole pedophiles and let them run loose in our neighborhoods???...I have to admit..I tried it once (and I'm single)....and i enjoyed it big time....
