As an African American female I was equally pleased with both Democratic contenders for president. Closely watching the competition unfold I am now very displeased with the negativity, obvious bending of the truths coming from Mrs. Clinton's camp. It is my belief that the racial and religious innunendos of this campaign are originating from her camp. How dissapointing as Mr. Obama has noticeably deferred from attacks upon her person relative to gender, religion and dismal past attempt at effecting a health care plan for all Americans. I had waited with much anticipation to a presidential run based upon the needs of this country and its people. What I have gotten is anything but. Gossip and slander aside, I hope the Democratic party is able to reconcile its two main candidates soon, as I am fast losing interest in the party and 'politics as usual'. Lastly, I do not believe that a Clinton endorsement will bring out the Black voters however much Obama might support her for president should he subcumb to the 'Clinton Virus Attacks'.

I'm a Black Woman that honestly believes that Obama is a fraud! He is of little substance and is very pliable. He is not "offensive" to White voters which from what history tells me means that he's not a threat. If he's not a threat then he really isn't an agent of change! Clinton is NOT responsible for any of the negativity that has been reported about Obama, he brought it on himself. People should stop making excuses for this man. If race has nothing to do with it he should be judged on his merits, and when you really look at it, he has very few.....

I'm a African-American incase that mattered..
CORRUPTION AND BAD JUDGEMNT HAS NO COLOR!
This is what has been overlooked there are plenty of African-AMericans that will not vote against their own interest but Reagan Democrats will..
My only problem against Obama supporters is stop talking about slander and give facts as to what has he done as a senator that quealifies him to be president?
Also, all the corruption issues are not lies.. THEY ARE FACTS!!! HE gave back money because it was tied to corruption...
The economy is too bad for all these slander issues to be a factor.. IT'S THE TRUTH! READ THE CHICAGO TRIBUNE - GAVEL TO GAVEL!

This is a great Poll. As Democrats, we should be more concerned who is more electable, not who won the majority, but fails to close the deal. Yes, that doesn't sound too great and even very American, but much like the lapel pin, does it really matter the way it looks or what it stands for? The relvenece is this. The Supers are not stealing or voting against the will of the people by voting for Clinton. Both of them failed to capture a lead big enough to get passed the magic number. The Supers are there to put them past that mark. Regardless.

What will damage the Democratic Party beyond repair? Barack Obama
The DNC, Democratic party, Pelosi, Dean, Reid, superdelegates look very foolish with their continued push for Obama.
Obama is a severly damaged candidate, and their continued pushing him down the Americans throats make them look severly damage.
I believe he is a weak candidate, and Pelosi's mouth is watering because she knows he will easily be manipulated by the far left radicals.
I have loved the Democratic Party my entire life, I have no racial bias, and yet I see a country now divided and people turning against each other over race, and people who are talking about leaving The Democratic Party. Yet, no one is noticing?
NO TO OBAMA/NO TO ANY SUPERDELEGATE WHO SUPPORT HIM

If Hillary gets the nomination, despite not having the majority of
pledged delegates it will negate the whole primary process. Why
bother letting the public vote at all if the candidate is going to be
chosen in the the cliche "smoke filled room" at the end of the day?
This will also make all of the complaining over the last two
presidential elections seem like sour grapes, when the dems are about
to "appoint" their own candidate rather than the one chosen by the
people.
As for Hillary being more electable? Doubtful, I have heard many
Republicans (some who changed parties in order to vote for her for
this reason) say they hope she gets the nomination because they know
that she can't beat McCain but that they are sure that Obama can.
Practically speaking, just how much more experience does Hillary
really have? She was First Lady for goodness sakes! That hardly
qualifies someone to run for president. I realize she is in her
second senate term but that hardly counts as years and years more
experience.
The Clintons haven't always been associated with the most savory of
characters. I think Obama has handled and dismissed Wright. Can all
of you recall every sermon your preacher/priest has ever given?
Didn't think so. Would you like to be judged on the behavior of
every person you have ever been associated with? Didn't think so.
If anything, the last eight years have shown us just how dangerous
political dynasties can be. This country needs a fresh perspective
and a new voice. As we enter a recession we need a leader who can
give the electorate hope and can inspire the public. When you have
children from elementary school age on up rallying behind a candidate
and quoting his speeches it is clear Barack Obama is the candidate
that can deliver hope when it is needed.
Should Obama have the pledged delegates it would be criminal for the
Democratic powers-that-be to essentially steal the nomination from
him and hand it off to their chosen candidate - really then, what
would have been the point of the whole primary process?

I think not only does the press want to stop Hillary but the democratic party wants to stop her as well. The democratic party is set up to fight to the end but now they want to take her right away. If the two contenders were of the same gender or race we would not be trying to put this contest to rest. If this contest were to end today and Ombama was the winner the negative attacks would still be happening and it would be coming from the republican party. Remember he is a poor debator. He will blow it debating McCain anyway What's not being said is the Democratic party is affraid of the two being of different races, the the nomation would be considered stollen from Ombama because he is black. How soon they forget they made the rules as to how this nomation is to be played out. With all this being said , If I was Senator Clinton, and my party was doing everything in ther power to stop me I would say okay have it your way but after the convention I will declare as an Independent and stop you. Two can play that game. McCain will be a one term president just like Daddy Bush and her turn will come in four years. So four more years of Bush is better than four years of not knowing what our president's beliefs are and what he really stands for and who he really is.

I find it very frustarting for the Democratic party officials to keep pushing the need to have a nominee by June. If, in fact, there is a nominee by that point, I htink they should cancel the National Convention - what would be the point of holding it? A big party? I thin not. Used to be that convention delegates acted upon the will of the state they represented. Seems like all it is now is that super delegates get to do whatever they please, and that's just not fair.
Go HIllary - your experience has my support.

Hillary is the most ELECTABLE, PLEASE!! let's not Goof up this election and put yet another man in the Whitehouse who doesn't have the experience to get to clean up the mess left by this administration. America just can't afford it.

With any swing toward the Clinton camp, I feel the
nation loses its ability to see beyond the 'politics
as usual' counts and NOT the problem solving approach
representative government this country needs. This also goes for the Republicans who would continue the
present course of government destruction!
No Obama12:53PMMay 2nd 2008
Hillary can win!
Obama doesn't have the 2025 delegates necessary to win the nomination, no-one can "steal" anything from him that he doesn't have. He'd like for the nomination to be "given" to him because he is ahead in delegates!
All the math does is give the candidate the right to win the nomination at the convention. If Obama has 2025 delegates then he would be the "Presumptive" nominee, just like McCain is now for the Republicans.
No-one "is the nominee" until the convention, the candidate that gets the required delegates is the "Presumptive" nominee, Obama "doesn't" and "will not" have 2025 delegates!
People get the facts Wright!

I will tell you what will "DAMAGE" the democratic party. If we let the press decide who needs to be president.
Senator Obama has shown incrediablly "BAD" judgement with his associations and judgement.
Please read link to understand Senator Obama political career in Chicago. He is a 1st-term senator.
http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/HL0804/S00064.htm
After you read that he has had to donate over $250,000 dollars from his presidential campaign over corrupt associations in Chicago then why would you want him to be president?
He has no experience so his judgement MATTERS! Obama's district where he was senator is full of gangs and abandon buidlings where Rezko stop paying on loans "STATE MONEY" that Senator Obama and the others helped him receive from the housing commissioners.
If you add Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers (Whom he has still not denounced?) and Tony Rezko.. Why should he be president?????
If all of this came out at the beginning he would not be in the lead but the "BIASED" media does not shine a light on that fact.
WE HAVE HAD 8 YEARS OF INEXPERIENCE IN THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT AND NOT ONE WANTS TO MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN!!!
OBAMA HAS A "BAD" JUDGEMENT ISSUE and you are over too many lives as president to not take that SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PLEASE READ LINK BEFORE YOU VOTE!
