Why does Hillary not have to publicly apologise for her former pastor (William Procanic) who was arrested for sexual abuse of a 7 year old girl?

And why does John McCain not have to apologise for his former pastor (John Hagee) who is called "Hitler"?

I guess the reason is that Rev. Wright is black and deserves more scrutiny.

Also, that's not attacking his "character"--how silly.

It's a quote about how Obama obviously feels about guns.

He wants them banned.

He wants to toss the second amendment, because he wants America to be a communist country.

He also didn’t reveal that he was on the board of the Chicago-based Joyce Foundation, which takes an aggressive gun control position and in which he had considered (2001) becoming its full-time president

Obama also didn’t reference his audience to his own senatorial website, where he states that “the passage of legal protection for the gun industry would mark an enormous setback for gun control advocates and for leaders of cities such as Chicago, who have filed suit against gun dealers and manufacturers.”

Or, that he told the Chicago Tribune that “I believe we need to renew–not roll back–this common sense gun law,” referring to the 1994 AWB.

Obama lied about saying Rev wright was his spiritual mentor. I saw and heard him on PBS and again on a re broadcast. He denied Wright.

In Islam it is ok to lie as long as it is for the good of Islam.

It's not a gaffe, it was done on purpose. It's for legal reasons. It wouldn't be the best thing to put a popular American gun on the cover with the word Ban on it, etc. Also, they shouldn't advertise and promote for one either. Turns out the gun is not real, doesn't exist...you don't think that's a coincidence?

It's for litigious reasons.

Hillary did not bring up Obama's "speed bumps". They are his own character coming to light. She didn't force him to associate with terrorists and America haters! He did it all by himself.

Thanks for running this story, TC. I come from a midwestern farm family, and hunting was a way of life for us. My brother was a marksman in the Army and I even took a class offered by the Army ROTC in college on rifle marksmanship, even though I never could shoot very well. When I saw this gun ad, I was a little confused. First, the gun has two triggers, which is common among competition and sniper rifles in Europe (I understand) but is rarely seen in the US. Second, the bolt is on the wrong side, probably because the image was "flipped" to look better on the page. Lastly, this is a very expensive German rifle. The rifles and shotguns that my father hunted with all together didn't cost as much as this one gun. So, no Katherine, this was not done for legal reasons. It would have been simple to get permission to print a pro-gun image from a US manufacturer, or to otherwise obscure the make of the gun. The idea should have been to present a type of gun that someone who hunted in Indiana might actually have owned. Hillary is trying so hard to show that she is a common working class hero, but this ad shows how elitist her people are. Not a single person in the campaign, it seems, realized that in my midwestern family, this ad would have been passed around for laughs, and probably did more harm than good.
