Obama to Declare Victory on May 21
In a move that will rock the Democratic foundations, Barack Obama will reportedly announce his victory as the Democratic nominee following the May 20 primaries in Kentucky and Oregon. The bold (perhaps reckless) declaration will excite party loyalists and spark an aggressive response from the Clinton campaign.
Both sides will cite variously tortured numbers in support of their interpretations of the Democratic party's torturous nominating process. Obama's campaign will peg the threshold at 2,025 pledged and super-delegates (a tally excluding Florida and Michigan). Clinton will include those states and demand a total count of 2,209. Yet, Obama will not have met either of those markers following the May 20 primaries. Instead, Obama will have won the majority of pledged delegates (1,627) - excluding, of course, those from Florida and Michigan, which would raise the bar to 1,784 (which Obama will not likely reach on May 20). Clinton will also retort that pledged delegates alone do not win the contest, but only those Illuminati-esque super-delegate can finally award victory. And then there is the whole issue of the popular vote, which might not be in accord with the delegate count (with or without the two states in limbo).
Regardless of the dizzying math and rivaling perspectives, the inescapable result of an Obama declaration of victory will be that Clinton will cry foul. Both campaigns will then inundate the public with interpretations, constructions, statistics and a load of other perplexing formulations which will all boil down to calling the other candidate a cheat. The wedge between Obama and Clinton supporters will widen, and Clinton voters will engender animosities toward Obama which will make their conversion to his camp (following his inevitable nomination) all the more difficult. A Clinton vice-presidency will become less palatable as she resorts to personal dispersions against her too-presumptive challenger.
Obama's early declaration will be premature, and its effect will be to harden Clinton supporters and engulf the Democratic party in a bickering tainted with charges of fraud. Perhaps McCain could be so lucky that one of the campaigns would threaten a lawsuit. Obama's gamble will win him (unneeded) media attention, but it will not secure his nomination any sooner than would otherwise have occurred.

If "Billary" wins the nomination I'll vote for the 3rd party.
Sue claims "Hillary really loves this country." Hillary only loves Hillary! She is a proven liar, a cheat, and how do you explain all the suspicious deaths around her husband's term in office behind all of their scandals? Google "suspicious deaths around Clintons" Get an eyeful...

Report This! C'mon Super Delegates. You know Hillary is the best "woman" for the job. Just think what Obama for President will be. He cannot go beyond making a written speech. He uses the same words over and over. I have not heard anything new from him since he started this campaign. Change, Change. More of the same. He cannot tell one single plan he has for the US. Helping the children and people of other countries! Our poor, our children, our disabled, all our people need help and all he talks about is overseas. Excuse me!!!!
Hillary can stand up to the best of them. She has the poise, grace and power that our country needs. Elect Hillary!!

Dian, where did you buy your crystal ball? How in the world can you predict with whom Mr. Obama will surround himself?
You need to wake up and smell the coffee. Our country is already in great danger. Bu.Sh. and his "puppeteers" have placed us there. There could never be an administration which is "far worse than the one we currently have", and our country is already in dire straights right now imagine what it will be like with McCain, who will continue the Bu.Sh. administration policies in Iraq and probably take us to war with Iran.
We are the most hated country in the world and we are on the verge of another depression!

Fabman 59, What would be wrong with having a black woman for president? You Americans are way too colour conscious.
I see people accusing Mr. Obama of being racist. They should read their own posts and look into their own conscience.

Why do the ignorant feel the need to attempt to ridicule those who are better educated?

Thanks for sending out an alert about Obama. We are living and working in Kenya for almost twelve years now and know his family (tribe) well. They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election chaos here.
Thousands of people have been displaced by election violence (over 350,000) and I don't know the last count of the dead. Obama under "friends of Obama" gave almost a million dollars to the opposition campaign who just happened to be his cousin, Raila Odinga, who is a socialist trained in east Germany. He has been trying to bring Kenya down for years and the last president threw him in prison for trying to subvert this country! December 27th elections brought cries from ODM (Odinga Camp) of a rigged election. Obama and Raila speak daily. As we watch Obama rise in the US we are sure that whatever happens, he will use the same tactic, crying rigged election if he doesn't win and possibly cause a race war in America.
What we would like you to know is what the American press has been keeping a dirty little secret. Obama IS a Muslim and he IS a racist and this is a fulfillment of the 911 threat that was just the beginning. Jihad is the only true Muslim way. We have been working with them for 20 years this July! He is not an American as we know it. Please encourage your friends and associates not to be taken in by those that are promoting him. It is world wide jihad. All our friends in Europe are very disturbed by the Muslim infiltration into their countries. By the way, his true name is Barack Hussein Muhammed Obama. Won't that sound sweet to our enemies as they swear him in on the Koran!
God Bless you. Pray for us here in Kenya. We are still fighting for our nation to withstand the same kind of assault that every nation, including America, is fighting. Takeover from the outside to fit the new world order. As believers, this means we will be the first targets. Here in Kenya, not one mosque was burned down, but hundreds of churches were burned down, some with people in them, burned alive.
Jesus Christ is our peace but the new world order of Globalism has infiltrated the church and confused believers into thinking that they can compromise and survive. It won't be so. I will send you a newsletter we sent out in February documenting in a more cohesive manner what I've tried to say in a few paragraphs.

American and Susan Nation: Talk about sour grapes! Good Lord. And because you did not get your way, your solution is to abridge the First Amendment? Again, Good Lord!
Mr Brown, your analysis fails from the start because of its faulty premise: the "Democratic elite" has included the Clintons since 1992--it is, in fact, their base!! To presume otherwise is to ignore the facts. Who had a $200,000,000 war chest at the beginning of this campaign? Who had the better connections? Who had the greatest influence on the party elite? Who led, until this morning, in the very measure of that elite--the superdelegates? Hillary Clinton.
We have witnessed a revolution during this campaign. Not a revolution led by political insiders, backroom deal makers, and, as you term them, the "elite of the party," but a revolution led by the voters. These are the people who are tired of politics as usual, tired of gridlock in Washington, tired of do-nothing Congresses and stymied administrations, tired of the politics of personal destruction, tired of Rovian-style 'gotcha' tactics, tired of fascist "my-way-or-the-highway" reasoning, tired of the oligarchical sense of entitlement exhibited by Washingtonians.
Hillary Clinton did not lose this election last Tuesday. She lost this election on February 5--otherwise known as "SuperTuesday." She lost because she failed to recognize the strength of her opponent, the appeal of his message, and the organizational and leadership skills he possesses. She lost because she failed to communicate to the voters a message that resonated with them. She lost because she presumed the mantle of nominee and the voters said, "Uh, wait a minute." She lost because she lacks the skill set necessary to run a national campaign, evidenced by her failure in the caucuses, her need to replace her key staff, and her inability to do damage control as necessary.
No amount of whining can undo what has happened in this country. No amount of finger pointing will gain her the nomination. No attempts to change the rules in the middle of the game will garner success. And no draconian proposals of muzzling the opposition will ever come to fruition.

It is interesting to see how Obama has morphed into a typical polititan. He now uses negative attacks and rhetoric just like the politicians he disliked. I do not understand the public's fascination with him. He is an accomplished speaker, but is more suited to the role of preacher rather than leader. I also resent the media's apparent bias towards Obama and against Clinton. I have voted in every Presidential election since I was old enough to cast a vote, but I am seriously considering whether or not I should vote in this election. If the choice is McCain (4 more years of Bush) or Obama, there is no acceptable choice for me.

This is one Hillary supporter(Caucasian women with 2 years of college)who is not making her decision on emotion.
I was not for Obama before all the dirt starting coming out. When the story broke on Obama, it just reinforced my feeling that Obama was not qualified to be President.
Obama and his 3 amigos (Wright, Aryes and Rezko) make me question his CHARACTER & JUDGEMENT. We can not hand over the highest position in this country to some we know so little about.
What about Obama's cousin?

Obama has just proposed a bill to give 800 Billion dollars to third world countries but especially Africa and Muslims....so he is screwing the American people
Oh and by the way...
Obama broke the rule and advertised on TV before the voting in
Florida.

If Obama declares his premature "victory" on May 21, does anybody out there think there will be a huge "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" banner flying high in the background?

How do you not realize that Obama is a Terrorist? A man that hates America, that is a racist and hates whites, tells people that the American flag is symbol for hate...That would willfully divide the party...getting Americans to split from what they know to be the truth. Takes money from organizations that have ties to Terrorist nations, and gives money to fund Terrorist activities!
Tell me…How is Obama not a Terrorist?
Jack9:38AMMay 9th 2008
People can say all they want about McCain. But the fact is he may have ties to Bush, but Obama has ties to Wright! Which is worse, a dumb man or a racist American hater?

Here is a link regarding our current state of affairs here in America http://www.infowars.com/?p=1995..it is a you tube video with author Naomi Wolf. She sheds light on how close we are to a Police State and just how blind the US is to the erosion of our rights and how little we have lost. But since Bush has taken them so slowly...and we as "sheeple" have allowed it to happen to protect us from the "war on terror" I do not think most of us have noticed.
I support Hillary and what does the above have to do with that? I firmly believe she will restore our Constituion and Bill of Rights. Obama has voted AGAINST our right to bear arms..google OBAMAWTF if you don't believe it. There are 40 lies each with sources all on one web site right there for all to see that I was unaware of until a few days ago. If Hillary does not get the nomination I'll vote McCain; better the enemy you know than the one you don't.

The Audacity of Hope? Nope! Just plain AUDACITY. If the DNC cannot see that the problem is Obama's inexperience, his dubious political dealings, and his questionable judgment, then they deserve what will happen in the general election. Obama's disenfranchisement of MI and FL - oh, yes, it was Obama's slick legal dealings that halted the revote in both states - clearly demonstrates that his "principles of change" are nothing more than "principles of getting elected" - at any cost. I will not be sitting home this fall even if Obama becomes the nominee. Although I have been a lifelong Democrat, the events of this election have opened my eyes. If Hillary, the far superior candidate, is not the nominee, I will be casting my vote for John McCain - a man whose policies I do not totally support, but a man who has both integrity and experience. I respect John McCain and I can live with him as my President. I will never vote Obama, even if the DNC pressures Hillary to become his running mate.
Hillary 08 or McCain 08 - it's the DNC's choice.

4 years of McCain is better than 1 minute of Barack Obama.
Does anyone really want to have to listen to him drone on and on and on for 4 years?
I can't even stand to look at Barack Obama. I get that creepy vibe from him. Something is wrong, wrong, wrong.
Find out now or find out later.
Oh how I agree with you. Yes something is very wrong and hope not to find out later.
