Now that the Democratic nomination is apparently within his grasp, Obama would do well to take a step back from his "Yes we can!" and "America, change is coming" vision for America. The record voter turn-outs in West Virginia and Kentucky (a solidly "red" state which Bill Clinton carried in both elections) despite the fact that it had already become apparent that Clinton could not catch-up with Obama in the selected delegate count signals that a significant portion of the traditional Democratic party base --- blue collar workers, women and seniors --- do not yet share Obama's vision. Obama has demonstrated his mastery of the Democratic party rules for the selection of delegates. But the endorsement and support of the Kennedy "machine" is painting Obama as a left-wing liberal at a time when the electorate is solidly centrist.
Combining Obama's visionary and inspiring rhetoric with Clinton's pragmatic and experienced approach to implementing change would be the strongest signal that Obama "gets it" that the electorate has
signalled strongly it's desire for a more INCLUSIVE vision for America. If Obama can convince her to accept it, naming Clinton as his Vice Presidential running mate would go very far to re-unite the
Democratic party, and signal "Change is coming!" which includes the truly historic nature of a candidacy with a black man and a woman at the top of the ticket!!!

I am so very disgusted with the Democractic Party and the American people. Why would anyone be supporting a Muslim. Have you heard this man's (Obama)minister's comments? . . . G-D America! What kind of talk is this? And the new minister on national television Saturday night said "If this is being videoed, What's up Hannity? (Meaning Hannity & Colmes) What is this man's intentions with this kind of comment!-especially for a minister! Yes the Clinton's have made mistakes; but this man (Obama) is lying too. One day he is best friends with his minister of 20 years and the next day he doesn't want anything to do with him. Obama's wife made the statement "this is the first time in her adult life she is proud of her country." What kind of statement is this? Obama and his wife both paint a very negative picture of America, yet they both grew up in high-class society and both graduated from ivy-league colleges. Not too negative here! Hillary is much more experienced to handle this very important job than some guy that thinks he can change everything suddently. If the Democrats are stupid enough to nominate Obama, they deserve to lose the November election - because Hillary's supporters will vote for McCain. McCain would be a better president than Obama. Wake up America - don't hand our country over to a Muslim!!!
Obama the Loser6:46PMJul 10th 2008
Mr. Obama turned to Mr. Rezko for help at several important junctures. Records show that when Mr. Obama needed cash in the waning days of his losing 2000 Congressional campaign, Mr. Rezko rounded up thousands of dollars from business contacts. In 2003, Mr. Rezko
helped Mr. Obama expand his fund-raising for the Senate primary by being host of a dinner at his Mediterranean-style home for 150 people, including some whose names have since come up in the influence scandal.
Beyond that, what does it cost to refurbish, furnish and move into a $2,275,000 home -- another $500,000?
At any rate, this is pretty good for a guy earning $165,200 per and who once ran his credit cards up so high that the credit card company denied him access to further use of his card.

Obama the Loser6:48PMJul 10th 2008
A BRITISH-IRAQI billionaire lent millions of dollars to Barack
Obama's fundraising effort only weeks before an imprudent land deal
that has returned to haunt the presidential contender, an
investigation by The Times has revealed.
The money transfer raises thequestion of whether funds from Nadhmi
Auchi, one of Britain's wealthiest men, helped Senator Obama buy the
mock Georgian mansion in Chicago where he lives.
A company related to Mr Auchi, who has a conviction for corruption in
France, registered the loan to Mr Obama's bagman, Antoin "Tony" Rezko,
on May 23, 2005. Mr Auchi says the loan, through the Panamanian
company Fintrade Services SA, was for $US3.5 million.
Three weeks later, Senator Obama bought a house on Chicago's South
Side, while Mr Rezko's wife bought the garden plot next door from the
same seller on the same day, June 15.
Senator Obama says he never used Ms Rezko's still-empty lot, which
could be accessed only through his property. But he admits he paid
his gardener to mow the lawn.
Ms Rezko, whose husband was widely known to be under investigation at
the time, sold a 3m strip of her property to Senator Obama seven
months later.
Senator Obama says his involvement in the land deal was a "boneheaded
mistake"
