To hitemup1time: I am with you and you're right. The democrats will lose this election to John McCann because I know there are other independent and democrats like m who would rather see an experience stateman in office than a questionable candidate whose wife had only been recently proud to be an American for the first time in her adult life!

If Hillary is "race bating" then I am Rex the wonder horse! What the question implies is that some reporters should not purchase a burial plot - they can be given an enema and buried in a small matchbox! Hate to see the Democrats lose the White House but, THE MEDIA AND THE DNC WILL FIND OUT THAT EXPERIENCE IS WHAT COUNTS WHEN PEOPLE TURN THEIR BACK ON OBAMA AND VOTE FOR MCCAIN AS HE DOES HAVE EXPERIENCE AND OBAMA DOES NOT! If Hillary is on the ticket then and ONLY then does Obama have a chance to live in the White House.

I am impressed with those that pledge to support Clinton even if the left wing of the party gives the nomination to Obama. He's not just a politiican, but one who is so unqualified that in a match up with McCain, of course more folks will pick McCain. In addition, the democratic party's decision to stick it to Florida and Michigan until they can make sure their boy Obama has the nomination encourages folks to go republican. Finally, the dems are ready to abandon the more loyal older and female voters in favor of Obam's claim to expand the party with new younger voters. Glad to know they won't miss all of us Clinton supporters who will go for McCain!
Be Afraid3:08PMMay 12th 2008
We must be very afraid of Obama, This is not about Race, It is about Egomaniia combined with No Experience. Please everyone Be Objective. We must not have another On The Job Trainee as President.

Hillary Clinton has run a very positive campaign. She has been accused of being negative by those who take what she says out of context and then misinterpret what she has said. An example of this is when Hillary explains why she will be better able to defeat John McCain in November. Her opponents say she is being negative and hurting her opponent's chances of winning. Hillary is the best Democratic candidate still campaigning in the Presidential Primary. The polls show that Hillary Clinton is the strongest Democratic candidate to win against Republican, John McCain. She will continue to speak up fight for us. May God bless you, Hillary!

I'm proud to say that I've never voted for a Republican president in my life. However, if Obama gets the Democratic nomination, it will be my first. I have no intention of voting for his "change" campaign. He's changed is positions on so many things and talks out both ends. The only "change" will be negative for the American people. Wake up America!

The media and Dem. party has been pro Obama from the beginning. I'm not sure who was leading who but they both have promoted him from the start. My suspician is this McCain has a chance to beat Obama but not Hillary, so the Republicans are hoping and promoting Obama too. Even if Oprah is supporting him, Barak Hussin Obama does not have enough experience to be the leader of our great country. Period.

OBAMA IS HURTING THE PARTY!
THE MEDIA TWISTS WORDS THAT HILLARY WAS JUST QUOTING.
OH GOD FORBID WE POINT OUT HOW RACIST IT IS THAT BLACKS HAVE VOTED FOR OBAMA IN HUGE NUMBERS!
OH GOD FORBID THE MEDIA EVEN QUOTE OBAMA FROM HIS' BOOKS ALL THE RACIST COMMENTS--I.E. ASHAMED OF HIS'MOTHERS RACE-WTF AND THIS GUY WANTS TO BE PRESIDENT TO ALL PEOPLE!
THE MOST SCARRY THING ABOUT OBAMA IS HIS MARXIST VIEWS!
THIS IS A WOLD IN SHEEPS CLOTHING!

Lets be real and admit it, it is about race to those who choose to make it so, and even about gender. The truth is, nonwhite Americans have voted for[When the right was given, including the womens right to vote]white men. Nonwhite Americans have entrusted these men with the future of this country, unto this very day. Not often was religion a main factor but did come up for a good debate ,for some during the campaign of 1960.If we can come to ourselves and give ourselves some credit, that we are not all so naive, to vote for a man because he is a man and that he is black or to vote for a woman because she is a woman and that she is white. It insults your intellect and the candidates intellect. No matter who you vote for, do it for the platform[principles, policies]and their integrity with sincerity ,that he or she will bring to the office of the presidency of the United States.Iam a nonwhite American, for this matter,as great as it is , lets all just become Americans and vote in the next human being to the oval office

Wow. The Hillary supporters are really angry.
Wow. L you must be a jackass. Because someone doesn't go to college doesn't mean they're stupid. I know plenty of college graduates that are horses posteriors. You are an elitist just like Obama. You think you're smart just because your parents had the money to send you to college. Harry S Truman didn't graduate from college and he became President. He was probably one of our smartest Presidents because he learned from books, life experience, and people. Obviously you've learned from none of those.
KK, you obviously need to take a debating course, because you are unable to articulate yourself without using profanity. I simply said exactly what Mrs. Hillary Clinton said. She said her core base was uneducated. Please do not get upset with me, because you are probably in that category. As it relates to my parents, they most certainly did not send me to college. I sent myself and paid for college myself. I grew up in a middle class family, so I did not have that luxury. Please do call me names that simply do not describe me, or Obama, because you heard Hillary Clinton say the word. For you to be so hateful with your comments is simply not necessary. Again, I was simply stating what Mrs. Hillary Clinton said out of her own mouth. Jesus Loves You and God Bless You KK.

This is typical media bull. What race baiting? It all started back when Bill Clinton said fairy tale and the media picked it up as trashing Obama's campaign. Then nobody showed the total clip, where what he was speaking of was Obama's voting record on the Iraq war. Women are mad as hell about how sexist our media is and how that seems to be OK. I'm a life long democrat and now I refuse to vote for Obama. I have joined the movement that calls for voting for Democrats in the house and senate but voting for McCain for President. That way we really let our voice be heard.
WOW! KK9 YOU DONT REALLY MEAN PEOPLE ONLY SHOW PARTIAL CLIPS OF STATEMENTS OR SERMONS DO YOU?

I AM SO TIRED OF SORE LOSERS, OBAMA IS THE WINNER, AND IF PEOPLE STILL CAN'T GRASP THAT OH WELL TO BAD, HE'S THE WINNER, THE WORLD IS TIRED OF THE CLINTONS LIES, AND DON'T FORGET THAT BILL LOVES TO HAVE FUN IN THE WHITE HOUSE, THE ONLY THING IS IT'S NEVER HIS WIFE, IS THERER ANOTHER MONICA WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT? COME ON GET RID OF THE CLINTONS. OPEN YOUR EYES. JUST TO LET PEOPLE KNOW I AM REPUBLICAN AND I FAVOR OBAMA RIGHT NOW.
Sandy Ortega4:51PMMay 12th 2008
HOW MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE ARE STILL SO PREDGIST AGAINST BLACK PEOPLE, ALL THAT IT SOUNDS LIKE IS THAT PEOPLE CAN'T EVEN STAND TO THINK THAT WE MIGHT HAVE A BLACK CHIEF AND COMMANDER, WOW! HE'S NOT THE SLAVE ANYMORE REMEMBER, HE'S JUST LIKE WE ARE, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, WE ARE ALL AMERICANS. THERE IS NOT ONE PERSON WHO IS BETTER THEN THE OTHER, LET'S NOT FORGET PEOPLE.

I wish some of you would read the NY Times or other papers. I am guily to reading this blog. McCain will be another Bush. Our country is in danger of a true recession as well as endangering lives of soldiers who are fighting a war which only benefits the oil companies. I will vote for either Democrat. Stop getting your information from television or these blogs. Unless you are very rich and/or immoral. this election should be a no-brainer.
bill5:09PMMay 12th 2008
Obama gets 92% of black votes versus Clinton, Clinton gets 65%-70% of white working class voters, both are not numbers generated by racists but by exit polls of well respected polling companies and news organizations. Clinton is defined in popular news media as racist because she acknowledges that she is more popular among white middle class voters than Obama, and that these middle class white working voters are the votes that the Republican Party relies on to win the executive office. Bill Clinton was the last Democratic candidate to appeal to this voter group and he is also the only two term Democratic President since Franklin D. Roosevelt. Bill Clinton won in West Virginia and Kentucky, these states have voted Republican in all elections since Reagan except for B Clinton. Comments that Clinton is playing the race card by mentioning the white middle class vote in primaries to date is crap...a fact is a fact not a racist appeal to voters... Obama needs to show he can appeal to the vast middle class. We are, in the Democratic Party, continuing to push out moderate and conservative Democrats to the Republican fold...the danger to the Democratic Party is not that the Black voters will move to the Republican Party, but that Democtrats, such as myself, in the middle class will forever give up on the Democratic Party representing their interests. A 92% vote by any race for one candidate of the same race is patently racist largely based solely on the color their skin...black voters have every right to vote for any candidate of their choosing for any reason...apparently Clinton voters need to affirmatively state in exit polls that their vote was not based on skin color or her vote is tainted...We haven't come very far in race relations in this country if both candidates aren't subjected to the same scrutiny by the news media!

Obama is just a hot headed, know nothing bigot! Vote for Hillary or vote McCain in the general election!
cleffnote5:15PMMay 12th 2008
I can't believe the push pull of this question. Clinton to blame? I don't think so. That would the Obama campaign who started the whole race question. Enough of this.
mj5:20PMMay 12th 2008
If Cinton wins despite losing the popular vote and the delegate vote and the superdelegate vote, don't you think the Obama suporters would have more grounds to be angry? and YET, the same suporters still say they would vote for Clinton and deny the republicans. Obama's supporters are true blue democrats . Hillary would be proud of them. I do not think that Hillary would be proud of all those who say they would vote for McCain is she does not get the nomination. Obama's suporters are democrats after HIllaries's heart. Seems like many of Hillaries fans are just groupies.
Diane Henrick5:21PMMay 12th 2008
While I believe that all politicians use the "race-bait" card, it is only serving John McCain. While the democrats are bickering and mud-slinging with each other, John McCain is sitting back and plotting out his plan in debating the democratic nominee for the race to the White House. How about the democrats stick with the issues and pick a decisive nominee and let the real race start!

A VOICE IN THE WILDERNESS
I’m just a voice in the wilderness. Only one voice and I suspect that it will go unheard until the masses open themselves to the realization that the wool is being pulled over their eyes. We are being misled and torn apart by our press, and leaders of the political, religious, civil order.
His campaign began with the “audacity of hope” and then as if overnight, a movement was born a movement for change. It is an ideal that had taken root so much so that even political rivals are using the mantra “Change”. Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Republicans, Democrats. Now everyone wants to be the voice of “Change”.
I have heard this man say time and time again that the game of politics as usual must end and that he does not want to improve the game. He doesn’t want to play the game. So set off he did by earning his campaign money through donations from the people and not accepting PAC money and not beholden to the special interest. I am proud of any candidate who can do that and still raise 20 to 30 Million dollars a month.
He has the votes the delegates and perhaps the super-delegates, but still the same people who are screaming for “change” who say that race don’t matter and that they don’t want to see this “battle for the White House” become a fiasco is making it just that.
Well back to being misled. Now I am watching our American citizens being used and torn apart by our press and our so called leaders of the political, religious, civil order for their own agenda. Today people are loosing their loved ones in a war in which no end is in sight. Today, right now some father or mother has to tell his or her child that they are homeless because they cannot pay their mortgage. Right now in America there is a senior who has no medicine because they cannot afford the cost and they are in pain. Today a man and a woman have lost their job because our businesses are leaving and going somewhere. Today, right now, in America a child is hungry and is living below the poverty line. In my city over the last 48 hours mothers are crying for the lost of a child due to gun violence. There is a voice in the wilderness screaming “Change” and Right now as I type these words our press and leaders of the political, religious, civil order are using distraction to sway its citizens from the reality of what our problems are. It is not (our problems) what Rev. Jeremiah Wright said Monday or who someone knew when they were a child or if I love this country less if I don’t wear a flag pin or that I don’t put my hand over my heart.
The press, only want to give you sound bites to hype its ratings so where is your interest of the need to know the facts compared to their bottom-line? We elected them but when someone talks about doing away with special interest and not taking PAC money and not accepting contributions from lobbyist don’t our elected leaders have motive to de-rail a true campaign for change? It’s their money that’s at stake and do you really think that they care about the “people” compared to all the money they stand to loose? You got Pat Buchanan, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and every other so-called religious leader hawking for a camera to give you their spin. Do these people, who all use Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. name and words in vain, honestly believe that they have your interest at heart? Dr. King is crying. It is not about black against white, rich against poor. It’s not about a candidate being too black or too white or if it’s a man or a woman who can win. She can say she is viable all she wants she still has baggage. She will be hit just as hard if not harder because of her baggage in the general election. It’s about the American People. That is what’s at stake. This election and every election after are about the survival of our children and our country. But I’m just a voice in the wilderness, only one voice, telling its masses that it is time for change.
