Yet another stupid question. How in the world would any healing be accomplished? Of course, it was a special day for the entire Bush family, but the lavishness did nothing for the people struggling to make ends meet in our "rich" country. I wish the newlyweds well as any children they may have will be the ones to suffer the consequences of the Bush administration. This occasion did absolutely nothing as far as healing goes & I don't how it could or why it should.

Oh yes. I woke up this morning and the world was at total peace. Everyone had a job. Health care was available to every man, woman and child. The economy was booming. Our borders were secure. Terrorists had put down their weapons. Solutions had been found for all of our environmental and energy problems. World hunger no longer existed. Can you imagine how much healing would have occurred if both Bush daughters had gotten married. What a stupid question! Although I wish Jenna and her new significant other nothing but the best, don't you think there are more important issues for this country?
Peni9:16AMMay 13th 2008
What idiot votes yes? Connecting a wedding to the economy is absurd, unless the taxpayers paid for it, now that's cruelty.

TALK ABOUT A STUPID QUESTION!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOW I'VE READ THEM ALL.
jillian10:04AMMay 13th 2008
You have got to be kidding me!! How can the wedding of an over priviledged, nobody cares about, presidents daughter heal America!?! Why don't you ask questions about issues that really matter? I've frickin heard it all now! I can't believe I took the time to respond to such idiocy, except that I'm still in disbelief!
I AM conservative but !10:54AMMay 13th 2008
Do you drink?....ah that's it.....wet brain questions...HOW DO you get a spot on this site? your stupidity is annoying...she is a young woman, she got married, she did not "heal the world"..In the light of Day and sobered up, try to get a look at what you wrote and go hide your head....and find a meeting.....
Leave the girl alone!11:52AMMay 13th 2008
Look, I don't like a lot of things the Bush government has done but I don't think these attacks on family members who have little or nothing to do with our country's problems are fair, nor nice.
Jenna Bush had the grace to NOT have a big overdone White House wedding. If she had done that, then you might have the right to critique her for it. But she had a quiet, humble, private ceremony at a small ranch owned by her family.
There is no guarantee that Bush's daughters have the same political leanings as their father. I know that I differ from my father. And if you look at past examples, you can see a 360 degree difference in say Ronald Reagan and his son, the ultra liberal Ronald Reagan Jr.
So leave the girl alone. Let her enjoy her day.
When it's time to vote, let's not get nasty... !

Wonkette has really "wonked out" this time. If only the "healing of America" could be that easy!
Wedding Belles12:37PMMay 13th 2008
Yes! She did look beautiful. No! It did not fix the economy. What does Jenna's wedding day have to do with the economy. I wish her the best.
CONNIE12:45PMMay 13th 2008
I DIDN'T KNOW HER WEDDING WAS SUPPOSED TO DO ANYTHING BUT BE HER DAY. NO WEDDING EVER HEALED ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE PEOPLE INVOLVED AND SHOULD NOT BE EXPECTED TO DO SO.
John G12:54PMMay 13th 2008
That is, without a doubt, the STUPIDEST question I've ever heard.
linda2:13PMMay 13th 2008
How would Jenna Bush's anything help our country? This is the most stupid question I have read.
Karina2:18PMMay 13th 2008
This is one stupid question.... What would heal our country would be a plan to bring growth to our economy, get rid of the illegal aliens who are cloggin up our jobs, roads, and welfare system, Bring in some morals, and get a president that both Democrats and Republicans can support......
Now who that is, is still to be determined because neither front runner has it! Our country has had a great divide since the clinton era, and it unfortunately is continuing to this day! Dear God have mercy on our Nation!
bennie2:24PMMay 13th 2008
i think the wedding really help heal the usa and i dont want to pay for other people mortages as no one help me when i loss my home when i got cancer and disabled and i didnt expect no one as u have to take of yourself in this world and god bless the USA
givemeabreak3:12PMMay 13th 2008
You know these poll questions are truly biased and there is no way that anyone could get info out of this poll.
Yes Jenna was beautiful....and what do foreclosures have to do with this...I am certain that she didnt get married to "heal America"..and most being foreclosed on should have never gotten a loan
My suggestion is the AOL find someone with a brain to post poll questions
Jeff E.3:22PMMay 13th 2008
I can't stand Bush at all, but this might very well be the stupidest question in the history of the internet. What does Jenna's wedding have to do with this country's problems?
sriash3:40PMMay 13th 2008
Only a stupid person can ask such a stupid question!
mdjobo3:50PMMay 13th 2008
yeah, it solved all my problems. Now I can pay my mortgage, buy gas,..., even got a better paying job.
Are nut? You actually thought this is a survey question. You are as dumb as the question itself. I can't believe AOL is allowing such garbage.
J Vragel4:19PMMay 13th 2008
Frankly, I didn't and don't give a damn about Jenna's
wedding. I'm sure it was lovely for all involved, but what has that got to do with the U.S. economy that's in the ash heap, the war in Iraq, or the dozens of Constitutional violations committed by G. W. Bush?!?!
