NY Times Smears McCain (Again)
Having unintentionally evolved into a New York Times bias watch-dog, I diligently attempt to remain on top of the mountainous heap of slanted news which is issued forth from that venerable institution. However, Powerline has beaten me to the punch this time, noting the Times' outright misrepresentations of the McCain/Obama/Hamas issue (which would cause a lesser instrument of journalism to slink away in shame).
The Times' story, "On McCain, Obama and a Hamas Link.," covers the issue of Obama's embarrassing endorsement by the terrorist organization Hamas. However, instead of contemplating why the thugs and murderers of Hamas have taken a liking to Obama, the Times' denounces McCain for untruthfully stating that Obama would pursue "unconditional" talks with Iran.
This shift in focus is distracting and fictitious, simply a means of covering for Obama and smearing McCain. In fact, Obama's Web site states: "Obama is the only major candidate who supports tough, direct presidential diplomacy with Iran without preconditions." Watch Obama discuss the issue here. As Jim Geraghty notes over at NRO, an Obama adviser has held meetings with Hamas.
I repeat and repeat again: a news organization which misrepresents the truth in order to deceive and mislead the public in critical issues of national import has betrayed its nation with a boldness and effectiveness beyond the scope of nearly any other institution. These are institutions imbued, by their very nature, with the public trust - their sedition is a matter of unparalleled shame.

The NY Times, also known as Pravda, will continue to smear McCain if for no other reason than he won't fight back.
McCain has no political guts and therefore deserves to lose.

THE FLASH PAN CANDIDATE
After May 9th (D-IL) US/Senator Barrack “Barry” Hussein Obama, became the flash pan candidate. Obama’a campaign became the classic tortoise and the hare campaign, by making the tactical blunder of disengagement in the “Primary” and turning to the “General” Campaign leaving the campaign of (D-NY) US/Senator Hillary Diane Rodham-Clinton wounded but not mortally wounded.
The Clinton Campaign since May 9th have been able to make the argument that Obama is the Black-Guy who was nothing more than the slick talking Allen Key, or Jessie Jackson Sr., from the South Side of Chicago, who’s talk of change was nothing more than all talk and no substance. That in fact Obama can not be elected, due to the fact that the United States is in fact still a racist country, and will never elect, a Black-guy to the Presidency. And, this point was made in her speech about Obama not able to get the votes of Hard-Working (WHITE) voter’s. And, in fact the point was proven by the air having come out of his balloon campaign after May 9th, at which point it was (FORD) Found On Road Dead.
The “Talk Of Change Express” had come off its rails, and every one of the last “Primary” contests has shown that Obama is a weak “General” election candidate, among (White), Women, Dual Citizen Jewish American Voters, Senior voters, Independent, and cross over Republican voters.
That in fact the “Super-Delegates” were set-up for just this type of empty candidate, a “flash in the pan”, no substance beyond the talk campaign, which can’t win in the “General” campaign, a house of straw campaign. The Obama Campaign was and is nothing more than a “Cult or Fad” Campaign, that fell apart after 9th May.

Bravo. Well written, poignant, and truthful. Something we haven't seen in the New York Slime newspaper in a long time. Thank God for the internet and other sources of news media. In due time, it would be a pleasure to see the doors of the New York Slime close.

Justin,
Did we read the same NYT article? The one I read was objective. Mr McCain, whom I have met and voted for, is the one who told the "lie." Obama's stance on Hamas is the same as McCain's. I support Obama because, unlike Mr. McCain, he is not afraid!

Never forget that it was the NYT and their star employee at the time Judith Miller who helped G.W. Bush "mislead and deceive" the public into initially supporting the Iraq invasion by printing Bush administrations lies on page one as if they were truths handed down to Moses on Mt. Sinai. In other words, there is nothing new about the NYT misleading and deceiving the public.

The New York Times used to be an institution that only reported on news that was fit to print; now it become a shill for the Far Left.
I cancelled my subscription about ten years ago and so should you. If you enjoy reading garbage, buy the National Inquirer instead.

Sadly, it's true... The NEW YORK TIMES gets things wrong. Yet still, it gets things wrong WAY less than any other newspaper in the country and perhaps the world. If only the United States Government could get things wrong and even misinform citizens purposefully as infrequently... You should be as critical of your government (ESPECIALLY this particular administration) as you are of newspapers... or you should be embarrassed that you are not.
