Well, not only did he condescend to the woman reporter by calling her sweetie, he never did answer the question about how he would help the auto workers keep their jobs, equally important in my mind.
I don't care what you want to call his attitude, I just don't like it. He's rude and insensitive and I don't think we need another President who thinks the American public is only necessary to him in an election year. Feel free to call him back and his press team will be nice to you. lol

I guess if your a man it means nothing to you...if it doesn't bother you that a man running for office would call your wife , female children, or fellow employees "sweetie".
I would never call an employee hon or sweetie it's condescending.. at least.. how long have some of these people posting been out of the work force ...

Ok sweetie, get over yourself. I am an accomplished female myself, but also a parent. Yes you may be a reporter, but like any child interupting a conversation you were pasified. If he had said "dude" to a guy, would that have caused outrage? Is there nothing else to pick on that the guy has to apologize for calling a woman sweetie.
