I am not an Obama supporter, but that was low class and uncalled for. I can't stand Bush, but would never make such a crass and dangerous joke.

Seems Huck-a-buck's disarming Bob Burns demeanor conceals a cruel streak, or if he meant what he said, he's too damn dumb to be a church usher, much less a VP. The good news: Now we know what this cat's made up. Even most idiots know what not to say.
Katherine6:14PMMay 16th 2008
I think that joke by Mike Huckabee was just a bad joke. He was trying to tie in the NRA somehow into the joke, but of course, it could only be a gun joke. pffft, maybe Huckabee should have said: Oh, you heard that? That was the sound of Obama kicking the US Constitution.
I think Obama wants take away the second amendment. Look at all this I saw on RNC website.

-Take control of the mainstream media and push propaganda, brainwash the gullible ones.
-Take away guns so American's can't fight back to protect their rights.
-Heavily tax not only the wealthy but the middle class, crippling the US economy on purpose...leveling it.
-Disarm the USA's military defense systems, thereby removing status as super-power and laying the USA naked to attack, which would also help destroy the economy.
-Swing open the borders, this helps for a few reasons, but one major one is that it hurts the economy.
-Befriend enemies, destroy global friendships and swap power players on the planet.
Voila! Destruction of capitalism, democracy, freedom and America's standing as a super-power and also world leader of democracy.
Yay! It's the revolution! Wooo! Marxism, Socialism, Communism! But the pain would be too much, the backlash too violent, the destruction of the American Dream too enraging...and a counter-revolution beyond all imaginings.
Obama is TOO FAR LEFT. Look the man UP. Learn everything about him. He is not just a regular liberal democrat!!

Katherine,
And I think the Republican Party is just a bad joke...
Of course, it would be much funnier if they win this election, kill about 10,000 more troops in a worthless war, completely rape the rest of our economy, and further erode our standing in the world. That would just be hilarious! Hardy har har!

Pastor Huck's remark really shows how unchristain & unresptecfull he is. All in good humor Huck? No, all in the political limelight to get a dig in at the Democrat that Repers feel will be a formidable candidate to beat. Cheap shot! Where is his brotherly love that his Big Black Book talks about? Another hypochrite bites the trail dust.
dave P.7:18PMMay 16th 2008
The shot was Cheney shouting himself in the foot.

Huckabee can stick his guitar up where Slick Willy's saxaphone belongs. Where the sun don't shine. They are both full of Political Phoney Baloney.
lmay7:27PMMay 16th 2008
Your normal citizen would have the FBI knocking at their door if they made a comment like that. Tasteless joke Mr Huckabee.
I can't stand Huckabee.....I can't stand Obama either but at least Huckabee loves America.
EVELYN7:28PMMay 16th 2008
Hillarious? No-----VERY DUMB. He is a HICK. Shows no class at all.
pete7:30PMMay 16th 2008
Everyone will remember Huckabee, if someone ever does take a shot at Obama. Are there some actually thinking about it? How is it that this comes to the top of his head on the spur of the moment. Christian? Proper thoughts about guns? This guy wanted to be the President of the United States???
Odd that the NRA accepted McCain after he HELPED do a few of the logical things that Democrats have been trying to get done without the help of the NRA. Safe guns. Is that a bad thing? It was his feelings about guns that convinced me to vote for him in 2000. Where is the rest of what used to be John McCain??

The sound was Clinton banging down a BOILERMAKER to drown her sorrow over all those Superdelegates Barack keeps getting.
lmay7:40PMMay 16th 2008
A video is about to be released showing Michele Obama/Zira chanting "Whitey" in that church they attend......This will be enough to official get Hillary the nomination!!!!
Al Gore will end up endorsing Hillary!!! Watch and see the Clinton Machine.......
Stay tuned...also Rezko trial just ended this week!!!
Go Hillary..all the way to the White House. If not Mccain has my vote!!!

Mike's sick joke, although sick, is not half as sick as the posts that claim Obama doesn't like America, doesn't wear a flag pin, doesn't cover his heart when the anthemn plays and the most ridiculous of all (Katherine) that he is "kicking the constitution." Those kinds of mundane, idiotic, far-fetched, bizare & ridiculous sayings are totally sicker than sick.
Dale Vickery8:03PMMay 16th 2008
IMAY..go the church and get saved. Your statement is anti-american. Recall that our founding fathers said, "no mixing of church and state." and another thing, we Americans have freedom of religion and you are not any candidate's judge, jury & God when it comes to religion or pastors. You are so desperate to attack the runner who is ahead in this presidential race that you use gutter tactics. If you had any real issues that affect all citizens you might appear more American. True Americans everywhere are worried over their dollar, bread, butter and war. Whose paster is who and preaching what does not affect their lives. Cheap gossip and cheap smears comes from not having any important issues re the dwindling economy and horrific acts of God that affect us all. Decent Americans are smart enough to ignore falsehoods, sick jokes, gossip and smears.

Thanks Mike! This is just what the Republican Party needed right now; the only GOP candidate who came out of this mess ahead spends his measly coin on a stupid joke. Way to go Reverend!
Old Lady USA8:11PMMay 16th 2008
Correct - this is the LAST thing in the "funny" department.... for any candidate.
However, maybe Huck, another GOP "leader", has shown what their real motives are.
Dog Food is getting a bad name.
tfitz10178:12PMMay 16th 2008
Anybody who thinks that Al Gore is going to endorse Hillary is nuts. OK, Al's a little nuts but still; ain't gonna happen nohow!
tfitz10178:14PMMay 16th 2008
Remamber, the role of VP is (was) limited and Hillary took a bunch of it from Al in those first two years. Can you imagine how humiliating it must have been to have to share his 'bucket of warm piss'?

That's pretty piss-poor for a so called minister. Maybe that noise was his fat-assed wife falling over after stuffing her homely face full of food!
