Any one who follows the israeli/palestinian conflict closely would tell you that israel was never against negotiations with any group, they said it times and times again.
they negotiated with Egypt during the war, with Jordan, with the PLO, with all arabic countries...
they even are in the process of negotiating with Iran about Iranian jews still in Iran.
Bush tried to play Rambo infront of the kenesset and he had the right to, he helped israel a lot.
But for McBush to follow him blindly without getting the facts straight shows that he has neither the personality to make his own opinion nor the intelligence to come up with solutions as Obama did.
diplomacy and negotiation are a part of politics, if you don't believe in them then you shouldn't be in politics.

This whole thing started because Barack Obama said, during a debate, for the entire world to hear, that he would sit down with anybody without pre-conditions.

Clinton and the Republicans said that was unrealistic.

The OBOTS went into crazy cover mode, just like they do with everything.

All this is about is preconditions. If Hamas and Israel want to talk, nobody is saying or ever said they could not.

Now Obama is starting with "lay off my wife" imagine the nerve after everything his minions did to Bill Clinton.

No where does it say that Isreali and American policies in dealing with our enemies have to match. Furthermore, Hamas is not a recognized country that sponsors, supports and arms the terrorist groups and militias that killed most of those 4,000 soldiers you are so willing to use for political purposes. They died BECAUSE of Iran, not because we won't talk to Iran.

Here's the history. Hitler was appeased and his regime and power grew until we, America, took an 'unconditional surrender' policy.

Japan, until we annialated Hiroshima and Nagasaki, would have fought to the last man and took out millions of Americans and millions more civilians, had we appeased. We would have taken thos losses and invaded if we hadn't had the bomb, because appeasement was not an option.

North Korea held out for direct talks with the US, but when we stood fast, we got what we wanted; they are still pushing the envelope, but we will win that one as long as we don't appease.

Saddam thumbed his nose at the UN (& Bill Clinton) for 10 years. Only when W said enough is enough did he fall. Everything after that was the doing of Malitias, Shiite/Sunni clashes Al Queda and Iran; they were the ones who wanted more fighting death and oppressive power.

Iran 'secretly' supplies the weapons that killed many of those 4,000 soldiers. In due time, all enemies sit down to work out solutions; Iran is not interested in solutions. W knows that. McCain knows that. Even Hillary knows that. Obama does not.

Whatever Isreal does with Hamas (or Hezzbollah) is immaterial when it comes to how the US negotiates with a state sponsor of terror that has a seat at the UN whose biggest voting block is Muslim and has four UN allies with veto power willing to muck up any negotiating muscle the US has.

Yes, sitting down with Iran without preset conditions is not just appeasement, but outright begging. Reality: we don't need Iran to win in Iraq. We are winning. We will win. And when we win, in spite of the fact that we did not enlist the help of Iran, then Iran will be weakened. It is why al Sadr's militia called for a cease fire; they were being beaten by the Iraqi army and police with some (and I mean some) support from US and British air power.

It is looking better and better for US and worse and worse for Iran's goons inside Iraq. Unless, of course, we appease which is exactly why Iran, Hamas Hezzbollah and many other Radical Muslim American hating dust dwellers want a Dem in the white house and Obama specifically. The enemy could not ask for a better political environment in America than that.
