McCain Can't Wait to Debate
Jun 4th 2008 11:38AM
Filed Under:eBarack Obama, John McCain, Debates, 2008 President
McCain adviser Mark McKinnon floated the prospect last month of the two candidates campaigning in the same states together and holding joint forums without a moderator. Obama said at the time that he would be open to such a prospect. That could be interesting. It's hard to imagine McCain having the upper hand in those kinds of settings. Both candidates seem equally suited for such engagement.
But then this morning McCain went even further, suggesting that he and Obama criss-cross the country together, stopping in the same states to spar, away from any "big media-run productions." He wants a town hall every week until the Democratic convention. AND McCain even suggested the two men travel on the same plane! It would be a good way to go green and cut down on expenses, he said. Can't wait to see what Obama says to that.
Right now there are only three sanctioned debates, the first coming September 26 in Mississippi.

It will be sad to see Obama mop up the floor with McCain. Johnny is going to have to learn public speaking skills and obtain knowledge about the difference between the warring factions in Iraq. I don't think he will be allowed to have Joe Lieberman whisper the answers in his ear.
It is going to be more like Obama debating Grandpa Simpson. I can't wait!

Here Let me explain how the Muslim's believe (peaceful religion?), They
believe Moses came with the law and was rejected. Then, they believe
Jesus (who they think was only a prophet but not the Son of God) came
with the olive branch of peace and He was rejected. Finally, they
believe that Mohammad was sent with the sword and that if he is
rejected that they have every right to cut off the head of the non
believer.
I worked with devout muslims for years. The news media won't tell you this. They say it's a "peaceful" reigion. Yeah, peaceful if you go along with their beliefs..............

The devil is a great speaker. That's how we all got in this mess in the first place. A good speaker does not make a good person.

Security is something that cannot be compromised. Obama cannot cut corners trying to show how collegial he is and dash the hopes of so many being so reckless. McCain looks like he is ready to pop a gasket if he doesn't get his way. Spare change-McCain. Real change Obama.

Maybe McCain can ask Obama about his wife
Michelle Obama spoke at the Women’s Event, but referenced Bill Clinton in her rant — his presence at the conference was the impetus for her raving, it seems.
For about 30 minutes, Michelle Obama launched into a rant about the evils of America, and how America is to blame for the problems of Africa. Michelle personally blamed President Clinton for the deaths of millions of Africans and said America is responsible for the genocide of the Tutsis and other ethnic groups. She then launched into an attack on “whitey”, and talked about solutions to black on black crime in the realm of diverting those actions onto white America. Her rant was fueled by the crowd: they reacted strongly to what she said, so she got more passionate and enraged, and that’s when she completely loses it and says things that have made the mouths drop of everyone who’s seen this.

Beware of a flattering toungue with lying lips.

Christopher,
I think this move is an interesting one on McCain's part. If Obama agrees, this plan would do wonders to equalize Obama's huge funding advantage. Of course, Obama will not agree to this. Instead, McCain will walk away from this proprosal with some light kudos for an attempt at straight talk.

no dans irish wife, it's going to be more like McCain debating Homer Simpson.

dans irish wife, you obviously haven't watched Obama's previous debates. If you take him off the pre-written speech he has in front of him, he starts stuttering and stammering and making things up as he goes along. BTW, mixing up Sunni and Shia are not quite in the same league as believing the US is comprised of 57 states...with two to go no less! LOL Obama and his outspoken wife are a joke and the American people are quickly waking up to that fact! He doesn't dare take McCain up on his suggestion of mulitple townhall debates because he can't afford for America to see how lacking in workable ideas he truly is!

It's finally over and the winner is The UNITED STATES of AMERICA. Barack Obama will be a good President of these United States. I respect John Mcain because he is a genuine War Hero, but he is too much like George W. Bush. He doesn't have the compassion nor the charisma to be the kind of President we need at this time. Let's all unite and Barack-n-Roll.
OhReally2:31PMJun 4th 2008
Obama debate? Guess again, he might get asked some hard questions and he will run.....again.
OhReally2:34PMJun 4th 2008
You can get your Democrats-against-Obama gear at Cafe Press right now. Between half of the Democrats who don't want him, his unwillingness to debate, and the republicans, he should be done in a couple of weeks.

CLINTON OWNS OBAMA if he really wants to be President.
Without Clinton's 20-MILLION voters, Obama's quest for America's White House is T-O-A-S-T. That's a F-A-C-T
And a large number of those Dem voters have indicated they will put MCCAIN in the White House no matter what Clinton or Obama say or do. OUCH!

TRIKA DEBATES?
(D-NY) US/Senator Hillary Diane Rodham-Clinton has claimed to have won the Democratic Nomination if not now then it will be won in Hillary's mine at the Democratic Convention on Aug. 25, Hillary has not and seem not planning on leaving this Presidential Election Season until dragged bodily off the stage by Secret Service Agents on Inaugration Day, and may have to be physically stopped from taking up residence in the White House and baracading herself inside.
So, will these be "Trika" Debates? Hillary and John can take turns attacking the youthfull inexperience of Barrack while showing that they are the most mature and experienced to hold the Office. Hillary as Prsident and John as her (VP)
