"Do the presidential debate commission's rules need to be overhauled?"

John McCain's speech last week was one of the crappiest things ever witnessed in modern politics. A confused old man who can't read off a teleprompter just listed a bunch of things -- Iraq, mortgages, socks, ice cream, stuff we lost in the garage, etc. -- and punctuated the incoherent jabbering mess with the worst catch phrase since humans
learned to speak: "Th-a-at's not ch-ch-ange we can b-believe in."
So McCain will need someone that can speak well in front of a telepromter and be able to wake him up from his naps (72yrs old yeekipes) and more important his running mate will need to have a grasp on the economy.

I'm a Democrat, I'm voting for McCain.
Jimi12:02PMJun 10th 2008
Its funny how Democrats decide on presidents based on popularity as opposed to substance! Hillary's ideas are nearly identical to Obama's, its only that she flopped on whether to go to war or not that got Obama the victory. Then people like Clifford get mad, and vote for McCain.
Fine by me, McCain's the right choice in the first place. Hillary has really crashed her party!

Mc Cain/Jindal '08 then Clinton '12....just wishful thinking. The fastest way to Clinton again is the aforementioned....I will not under any circumstance vote to intrust my country to Obama, my choice, my vote. Mc Cain will do fine kept in check by a democratic senate. Just an opinion.

THE DNC TRIED TO CONTROL THIS PRIMARY BY FIAT. NOW, THIS FIASCO IS LED BY A SENATOR WITH A TRAIN LOAD OF SHADY CHARACTERS WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO SPELL THE WORD INTEGRITY. CALL ME FICKLE IF YOU LIKE, BUT I WILL USE REASON WHEN SELECTING A PRESIDENT. CLEARLY, OBAMA'S ENDLESS ARRAY OF DUBIOUS FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES SUCH AS TONY REZKO,REV. WRIGHT,FATHER PFLEGER,BILL AYERS,ETC. GIVES ME CAUSE TO PONDER A SINGLE QUESTION. WHO IS THIS BI-RACIAL MAN?
Arrianna12:40PMJun 10th 2008
Hillary Clinton was cheated out of the Presidency by the DNC. Howard Dean and Nancy Pelosi are two of the biggest idiots on earch. Obama was not on the ballot in Michigan and therefore did not deserve the 59 delegates he was presented to him on a silver platter by the DNC. Vote McCain '08 and Clinton '12. News media needs to back off with there sexist broadcasting. Our journalists are idiots. I will never vote for Obama. Not because of his color but I was taught by my mother you learn alot about people by the company they keep and the sight of Father Pfleger and the concregation at Obama's church told me all I needed to know about where Obama and his "whitey" hating wife's priorities are.

This election comes down to who is most electable in November, and Senator Clinton holds the two cards that count: she has more than enough GUARANTEED Electoral College votes to win in November. Senator Obama does not. Her support base is composed of repeat, committed voters that you can count on in the Fall. His are new, young, and overscheduled, not as committed to getting to the polls.
Please dispel any notion you may have that ‘we’ will support Senator Obama in the Fall. There is a huge citizen movement building in opposition to the undemocratic way this primary has been run. We are male, female, trans, gay, bi, and lesbian. We are families, single moms, single dads, seniors and college students. We are Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, Spiritual and Atheist. We are white, black, brown, red and yellow. We are educated, street smart, uneducated, or being educated. We are poverty, lower class, middle class and upper class. We are rural, urban and suburban. We are mainland states and island states. We are Clinton Democrats and PUMAs (watch for this moniker). WE ARE AMERICA.
If Senator Clinton is not the Democratic Nominee for President of the United States, we, 17 million strong, will vote for John McCain or abstain. We are not going to ‘fall in line’, even if Hillary asks us to or if she is on the ticket. We support her vision of our American future. We do not support the vision of America through the eyes of Barack Obama. If we vote McCain it is because he is a moderate conservative that has sacrificed for our beloved country and is not afraid to go against the grain of his party for what he believes in. We are not concerned about Roe v. Wade because a Democratic Congress can stop any movement to overturn the verdict. A Democratic Congress will also ensure that McCain’s power will be limited for his four short years of office. We will not put a Junior Senator with less than one year of experience in the Senate who has questionable connections and poses a threat to 60 years of tolerance in the most powerful position on Earth: President of the United States. In summation, we feel that Barack Obama poses a much bigger threat to this country than John McCain.
We also want our democracy back - ‘of the people, by the people, for the people’. We want transparent, simplified and condensed primaries that are accessible in all ways to ALL who are eligible to participate. One person, one vote. We are prepared to fight for reform, peacefully and legally. We are gathering and organizing. Mr. Dean has received hundreds if not thousands of shredded voter cards and party change request forms already. McCain is seeing a huge increase in registrations on his site. We will work to ensure McCain’s success and the removal of all elected officials who played a part in this charade. We will make it our mission to find out who voted against their district’s and constituent’s choice and endorsed the opposite candidate. We will begin working on Hillary ‘12, as independent voters. We will make Martin Luther King, Jr., and all the people who sacrificed, fought and died for our democratic rights PROUD.

"What is the most important quality in a running mate? Someone who".......is not Hillary.
Julie3:38PMJun 10th 2008
Boy, if anything goes wrong in this country, the republicans sure have a way of twisting the facts to make it Hillary Clinton's fault. Every blog is about how Hillary did this, and Hillary did that. Bush screwed the nation to hell, and yet somehow, the newly democratic congress AND Hillary Clinton are to blame. When will you stupid republicans get over it and point the finger where it goes - BUSH AND CHEYNEY!!!! For once in your lives, pull your heads out of your asses!

I have supported Hillary ever since she announced her intention to run and will write in her name. All the above qualities are important. Joe Biden is the best choice for Obama. He has extensive experience in the Senate in foreign relations and the judiciary committees. I have wanted him for president for a long time. He is a native of PA. but now lives in Delaware. He and Chuck Hegel, a Republican from Nebraska, have worked together a lot. Hegel has not hesitated to criticize the actions of the Bushies. Unfortunately, he is not running for re-election. He is a Vietnam vet.

I totally agree with Joyce. The press has been force-feeding Obama to us and I have done nothing but choke. I find both he and his wife to be arrogant and self-serving...with highly questionable alliances. I would not, under any circumstances, help to elect them into the white house.
I truly believe that he will need Hillary on the ticket to have any real chance of winning the election. Still, regardless of my respect for her, the democratic party has lost my vote; I would rather stay at home and watch the grass grow.
This entire nomination process has been a farce. You'd think after the whole G.W. Bush fiasco, the country would have wisened up. Obviously, it hasn't. We have two candidates that aren't worth the gasoline to waste for the drive to the voting booth.

I liked this poll about the first ladies. Obama's wife is a shrew and a rude and arrogant person. I like Mrs. McCain's approach to everything...subdued. Keep going, Michelle with your mouth...you will trash your husband's chances and save us all from HELL

With either a president who will be getting on-the-job training (Obama) or a president who will be the oldest ever elected to a first term, the VP's better be ready on Day One.

With a weak unqualified person such as Obama there needs to be a very strong V.P. It's a frightening thought that he could actually be our leader. This is not an apprenticeship position. Hillary would without a doubt make the best president. She's has much too much going for her to be V.P. Besides that I cannot vote for Obama as my conscience would not allow me. He & Michelle do not belong in the White House. I have no trust for either of them & believe it to be risky business. My concern is for our country. The heck with any party affiliation. The Dems created a fiasco so they must deal with it.
