Oh How I'll Miss The Bushisms

And they call Obama an elitist...
On a recent White House visit with Phillipine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, US President George W. Bush tried this funny on for size:
PRESIDENT BUSH: Madam President, it is a pleasure to welcome you back to the Oval Office. We have just had a very constructive dialogue. First, I want to tell you how proud I am to be the President of a nation that -- in which there's a lot of Philippine-Americans. They love America and they love their heritage. And I reminded the President that I am reminded of the great talent of the -- of our Philippine-Americans when I eat dinner at the White House. (Laughter.)
PRESIDENT ARROYO: Yes.PRESIDENT BUSH: And the chef is a great person and a really good cook, by the way, Madam President.
PRESIDENT ARROYO: Thank you.
Yeah, George. And I get get all misty-eyed about Mexico whenever I see Jorge and Jesus mowing my lawn...

and McCain was a navy brat, whose dad was an admiral, graduating second to last in his class at Annapolis, hell he couldn't even claim to be the anchorman (last in the class). The similarities betweem him and bush are amazing.

THE DEMS IN CONGRESS “SELECTED” OBAMA — HE WAS NOT “ELECTED” BY THE PEOPLE.
Obama has no experience on any political topic. His foreign experience is vacationing with his family on a beautiful island.
Read Obama’s books. This bi-racial man, who claims to be ‘black’ is a threat to our country.
From ‘Dreams of My Father’: “I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa, that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.”
From ‘Audacity of Hope’: “I WILL STAND WITH THE MUSLIMS SHOULD THE POLITICAL WINDS SHIFT IN AN UGLY DIRECTION.”
Early this year, Obama said: “Don’t tell me that words don’t matter”. His words on various topics keep changing. He has lost all credibility. OBAMA SIMPLY CANNOT BE TRUSTED.
John McCain does have foreign policy experience. In fact, he has more political experience on every topic than the ‘wanna be’.
McCain served our country during the Viet Nam War. He proved he loved our country enough to die for us. He has served in the Senate for 20 years.
Vote McCain in 2008.

The problem with the Bushits is that we minorities are so ready for a kind word that we actually believe Bush likes us while he is patronizing us--"he even speaks Spanish, and he did alot for us when he was Texas governor. Yeah right.

Exactly. People who used to tell me Bush is "like them" always amazed me. Just how is he like you? He is filthy rich and born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Bush never had to work a day in his life at any job most of us did. Bush's favorite game as a younger man was supposedly to look down on elites - yeah, easy to do when you were living off Daddy's money. And now, he still claims to look down on elites, all the while he is one - only his grasp of the English language would tell us otherwise.
