Stupid question.

Nobody is saying that it automatically qualifies you to be president.

But it sure gives you more experience and understanding about the military and military maneuvers than some yo-yo who has never even been in the military.

It is just ONE PIECE of what makes somebody qualified.

Unfortunately for Obama, he doesn't even have that one piece.

He is actually "pieceless".

And Arianna Huffington should go back to the country that she immigrated here from since she hates this county so bad. Who asked you to come here, anyway?

We always taught our troops to be leaders, unlike most militaries, the U.S. always gives the question what do you if your leader is not there to tell you what to do, troopers are taught to think for themselves, and to lead if need be that why we have standards for entry into the services!

Military service does not qualify you to be president. Intelligence, love of country and good judgement ranks up there. I don't doubt that McCain loves his country but his judgement is in question. He wants to continue George Bush's policies that has this nation in a deep hole. He is now taking advice from that crook Karl Rove and all the Bushies that ran GW's campaign. This country cannot afford another corrupt administration from McBush McSame 100yr WAR McCain.

Nothing makes it easier to criticize media than when they blatantly WORD a question in a manner to LEAD the respondants to answer a specific way to validate the political point THEY WANT to make.....using the word "automatically" is a prime example.......No one is claiming anything makes one AUTOMATICALLY qualified to be president...it is simply one of many FACTORS we consider when deciding who puts their money (or life) where their mouth is......McCain has successfully demonstrated he will defend our country.......Obama apparently has given it some thought and heard about it in his church.....

Barack Obama angered fellow Democrats in the Illinois Senate when he voted to strip millions of dollars from a child welfare office on Chicago's West Side.

But Obama had a ready explanation: He goofed.

"I was not aware that I had voted no," he said that day in June 2002, asking that the record be changed to reflect that he "intended to vote yes."

On June 11, 2002, Obama’s vote sparked a confrontation after he joined Republicans to block Democrats trying to override a veto by GOP Gov. George Ryan of a $2-million allotment for the west Chicago child welfare office.

Shortly afterward, Obama chastised Republicans for their “sanctimony” in claiming that only they had the mettle to make tough choices in a tight budget year. And he called for “responsible budgeting.”

A fellow Democrat suddenly seethed with anger. “You got a lot of nerve to talk about being responsible,” said Sen. Rickey Hendon, accusing Obama of voting to close the child welfare office.

Obama replied right away. “I understand Sen. Hendon’s anger. . . . I was not aware that I had voted no on that last — last piece of legislation,” he said.

Yep this has been a long campaign, and i suppose it will get bitter at the convention also! obama wants the mile high so he looks like a big wig! he is nothing but a peon, just like the rest of us! what's going to happen now that his big spenders are limited to the cash flow to him? how comes back in illinous obama had all the cash, that some gave too much? maybe he used some of that toward his big house ! i know auchi donated some to him, as did rezko, how much is he going to have this time around! he was involved with the dirty politics and still is! do you like to "play board games" obama? yea i bet you do!
