When John McCain Speaks...
Listen to that crowd response. Ouch. By now, it's all getting a little old.

John McCains understanding of the economy.
Its all in your head folks.
John McCain says the economic downturn is psychological. Having on multiple occasions admitted his limited understanding of the economy, Senator McCain instead turned armchair psychologist to diagnose the U.S economic slowdown. In April, McCain told Fox News’ Neil Cavuto that a lot of our problems today, as you know, are psychological. Apparently, seven months of job losses, oil at $140 a barrel, record gas prices at the pump, 47 million uninsured and a devastating home foreclosure crisis are merely figments of Americans’ imaginations.
EBAY IS THE ANSWER FOR POVERTY8:42AMJul 8th 2008
John McCain says eBay is the answer for poverty and recession. During his so-called Forgotten Places tour, John McCain offered the people of the economically devastated regions in Martin County, Kentucky and Youngstown, Ohio a path out of financial desperation: eBay. Today, for example, McCain said, 1.3 million people in the world make a living off eBay, most of those are in the United State of America. If that sounds like something McCain's national campaign co-chair and former eBay CEO Meg Whitman might say, it's because she did. In March, she told Lesley Stahl on 60 Minutes, We have about - around the world, about 1.3 million people make most, if not all, of their living selling on eBay. I try to make a little bit of extra money selling on Ebay.
Let me tell you when people are having a difficult time filling up their gas tank. Paying their mortgage and putting food on the table they are not buying on eBay. Also we eBay sellers do not have health insurance. Please ask Meg Whitman why she left Ebay when the bottom fell out?

So far this year, the economy has lost a total of 438,000 jobs, an average of 73,000 a month.
Mccain just returned from South America pushing for more free trade and jobs to go overseas 'cause its good for Americans"
yep lets ask the 438,000 who are unemployed if they agree...and if they are still going to be stupid enough to vote for this man who is not about them....
Mccain...not about you...www.aflcio.org

John McCain says he leads the fight against wasteful government spending. He has a plan to stop it. And where was John McCain when the nation debt climbed to 9.2 Trillion and counting?

President Obama says:
John its Iraq not Iran.
And we are looking for Osama Bin Laden not Sadam Hussein.

IS THIS THE MAN THAT YOU WANT WITH HIS FINGER ON THE NUCLEAR BUTTON.
Prayerfeathers9:09AMJul 8th 2008
Ok!
Lets think about this?
McCain is the man who voted to send our bravest to die looking for weapons of mass destruction that did not exist.
McCain is the man who does not know that 9-11 was caused by Osama Bin Laden not Sedam Hussein.
McCain is the man who does not know if the Sunnis or Sheits are our enemies!
McCain is the man who put our government on the China, Saudi Arabia credit card.
McCain is the man has adopted virtually the entire Bush agenda, often reversing long held positions and compromising supposed core principles. From Iraq, tax cuts for the wealthy, broken promises on the deficit to opposition to SCHIP, tax credits for health care, overturning Roe v. Wade and a right-wing Supreme Court.
Without question John McCain represents a third Bush term.
Our only hope is Obama.
On The Obama Bus9:15AMJul 8th 2008
Do you ever wonder why so many people are getting on the Barack Hussein Obama bus?
Could it be that this nation is becoming colorblind and does not care if a good person is black, white, red or tan?
Could it be that the American people don’t care if a person worships as a Christian, Buddhist, Muslim, Hindu, or Jew?
Could it be that people remember the scandals of the Clinton years?
Could it be that the American people remember Bush and McCain looking into our eyes and saying, “believe me there are weapons of mass destruction”?
Could it be that the American people are shell shocked that 4,000 precious lives have been lost fighting the wrong war in the wrong country?
Could it be that the American people have noticed that the people that know the Clinton’s best are working on the Obama Campaign?
Could it be that the American people have noticed how mean spirited the Clinton’s have become – and will no longer tolerate their type of campaigning?
John McCain is not a friend of the American Military9:29AMJul 8th 2008
Are we talking about the John McCain that does not know that 9-11 was caused by Osama Bin Laden not Sedam Hussein?
Are we talking about the John McCain that does not know if the Sunnis or Sheits are our enemies?
Are we talking about the same John McCain who missed 10 of the past 14 votes on Iraq?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in September 2007: voted against the Webb amendment calling for adequate troop rest between deployments?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in July 2007: voted against a plan to drawdown troop levels in Iraq?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in March 2007 was too busy to vote on a bill that would require the start of a drawdown in troop levels within 120 days with a goal of withdrawing nearly all combat troops within one year?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in February 2007 didn’t even bother to show up to vote against a resolution condemning it? For such a strong supporter of the escalation, McCain didn’t even bother to show up and vote for it?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in June 2006, voted against a resolution that Bush start withdrawing troops but with no timeline to do so?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in May 2006, voted against an amendment that would provide $20 million to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for health care facilities?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in April 2006, was one of only 13 Senators to vote against $430,000,000 for the Department of Veteran Affairs for Medical Services for outpatient care and treatment for veterans?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in March 2006, voted against increasing Veterans medical services funding by $1.5 billion in FY 2007 to be paid for by closing corporate tax loopholes?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in March 2004, once again voted for abusive tax loopholes over veterans when he voted against creating a reserve fund to allow for an increase in Veterans' medical care by $1.8 billion by eliminating abusive tax loopholes. Jeez, McCain really loves those tax loopholes for corporations, since he voted for them over our veterans' needs?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in October 2003, voted to table an amendment by Senator Dodd that called for an additional $322,000,000 for safety equipment for United States forces in Iraq and to reduce the amount provided for reconstruction in Iraq by $322,000,000?
Are we talking about the John McCain who in April 2003, urged other Senate members to table a vote (which never passed) to provide more than $1 billion for National Guard and Reserve equipment in Iraq related to a shortage of helmets, tents, bullet-proof inserts, and tactical vests?
If he believes that we should stay the course for as long as possible he should be willing to support the people he puts in harms way.
John McCain is not a friend of the American Military.

WHEN WILL OBAMA TELL HIS CHILDREN THAT DADDY WAS GAY,,
David S.9:45AMJul 8th 2008
I have to agree with some of this. McCain was being interviewed this morning on CNN - he gives these monotone rote answers - the mark of a career politician. When pressed for details on how he will 'reform' social security, it is the same failed Bush policy about young folks (voluntarily) putting some of the money in private accounts. He also curiously mentioned 'change' several times - could McCain be taking up Obama's theme?
I don't know who is handling McCain, but they need to just let McCain be himself. I am no fan of this man, but if he would just be McCain the maverick and outspoken the way he used to be he might have a shot at winning in November. Otherwise he will be the Bob Dole of 2008.

When will McCain tell his children from both marriages that his wife is a trollop and c*nt?
RIChris9:49AMJul 8th 2008
Don't blame the messenger. McCain very obviously does NOT have the mega-talented speechwriters he needs. He's no showman. But the thought of Obama's finger on the nuclear button (using the hand not holding the blow pipe) is somewhat unnerving.

What has been endorsed by over 300 professional economists including Nobel Prize winners, business economists with experience in the private sector, policy economists with experience in government and academic economists from major universities and state and community colleges?
The answer is John McCain's Jobs for America Economic Plan.
Kwaayesnama10:03AMJul 8th 2008
Dear David:
I agree with you.
The problem with McCain, like the Clintons will keep shaking up his staff because it is easier to blame them for his lack of brains. John McCain reminds me of the straw man in the wizard of Oz.
The Republican pundits are constantly pointing out how close the election is. I want to know is how a new comer to politics could be winning in every poll against a man who has spent his entire adult life in the US Senate?
Have a good day I have to go to work so I could make my monthly donation to the Obama campaign.

The Obama Boy will need a parachute to land when his "hot air" balloon capsizes under the weight of accusations that he is a muslim, ulta-liberal, black-radical, white-hating, anti-american, terroist-loving, CORRUPT and inexperienced puppy of the most corrupt Political Machine in the country. What more could we want?

My favorite is when McCain said:
"I will use the veto as needed. I will veto every single beer with earmarks," he said, as rumblings from the crowd could be heard. "And every single bill that we have come across my desk I will make them famous. I will veto them, you will know their names."
Budweiser?
That man really concerns me!
