Jesse Jackson Said What!?

No, not the nuts thing, the other thing, AOL News has it:
The Rev. Jesse Jackson used the N-word during a break in a TV interview where he criticized presidential candidate Barack Obama, Fox News confirmed Wednesday.
The longtime civil rights leader already came under fire this month for crude off-air comments he made against Obama in what he thought was a private conversation during a taping of a "Fox & Friends" news show.
In additional comments from that same conversation, first reported by TVNewser, Jackson is reported to have said Obama was "talking down to black people," and referred to blacks with the N-word when he said Obama was telling them "how to behave."
You stay classy, "reverend" Jackson. Somehow I just can't quite picture MLK saying anything close to this, so is it alright to say that Jesse Jackson just needs to go away? As a an average white person, it's obviously not my call, but those in the media and in the black community keep giving him a platform. Yes, I'm looking at you, Fox News. The illegitimate child should have been the death knell, if not the hymietown incident. But somehow Jesse keeps coming back.
If the very least that comes out of the Obama rise is an upgrade in the leadership of the Black community, it will have been worth it. But first, everyone has to agree that Jesse is over.

Guess Jesse Jackson isn't the man Obama thought he knew. He thoroughly renounces the things he says but he can't reject the man. Just another "crazy old uncle". Besides, Obama never heard Jesse say these things. Well, maybe once----or twice---or----------wow, maybe it IS time to throw him under the bus!!!

"I HOPE nobody notices how often I CHANGE my mind."
The truth appears to be that the man had not thought out foreign policy issues before he entered the race for president.
I would like to see him confront face to face and without a teleprompter a tough questioner on foreign policy and domestic policy for that matter.
If we were electing a teleprompter reader he would get my vote --- But the country needs a man of experience --- the more, the better. He is not the one. He is inexperienced on ‘most’ issues.
I’m voting for McCain in November.

You ARE kidding, aren't you? McLame cannot remember his OWN name w/o the use of a teleprompter. Or someone whispering it into his ear. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with using a teleprompter. I would venture the vast majority of people giving lengthy speeches - or even brief ones in the cases of Bush and McLame - use teleprompters. BFD So what? Why is that such an issue with you?
You go right ahead and vote for the Geriactic Kid, and don't you DARE complain when you get 4 more years of Bushwhacker mentality and policy. McLame doesn't even KNOW what he stands for, except for continuing the Iraq war and probably getting us into another mess in Iran.
Obama gets my vote. He knows who he is, he knows the difference between a Shiite and a Shia, he knows we cannot win the war in Iraq and we need to get the hell out of there, he knows what the economy, health care, education, Social Security, etc., all need. And he will surround himself with the best and brightest cabinet members and advisors to work toward restoring the US to a nation of respect.

What was Obama's job description as a community organizer? Does anyone know? How does this prepare him to be President?
I'm tired of seeing him point his finger at me as he reads from his teleprompter what his writers have written for him. Have you listened to him speak when he has to talk without notes? He can't get a complete sentence out without his "aah's." Although, he is getting better & his skill at memorizing has seemed to help. He has learned a lot in the last few months.
I'm also happy to see that his wife isn't running out on stage with him at every event. This waving & kissy-face on stage is a little sophmoric--but then again Michelle's handlers who have worked on her new image & her "softening" have done a nice job.

Strange, but isn't a Shiite one who practices the Shia persuasion of Islam? Let's hope someone in Obama's position knows the difference better than his constituents. The differences are between the Shiite and SUNNI beliefs. This is from a typical, uninformed but vocal Barack Obama supporter. Which explains the support for Obama.

Why is Jesse Jackson's verbiage such a surprise to anyone? He's always had a nasty mouth and an embarrassment to the black community - his jealousy of Barack Obama is overwhelming and his dream of becoming the next MLK is ridiculous - he doesn't even come close.
ANYBODY-BUT-OBAMA1:01PMJul 17th 2008
Obama is a genius. He has taken advantage of being an "unknown".
He's playing the part of being the newcomer to Washington politics who has "no connections". That part is true.
He has coupled that with the beautiful message of "change and hope" for the future like so many politicians before him. It works.
Over the last three weeks Obama has taken virtually every position on every major issue.
His people have been given the opportunity to extract from public opinion polls the best possible combination of positions to take to get the most possible votes.
Day by day as he flips and flops on issues as he learns more and more about what America wants to hear.
By the DNC he'll have all the information he needs to know who he's going to be until the election.
For the time between the DNC and the election Obama will follow a straight line but imaginary platform that will get him elected.
During those last two months the public will have become so enamored with his sweet talk that they will forget all the wishy-washiness we are seeing now.
IN JANUARY THE REAL BARACK OBAMA WILL APPEAR.
For now --- like a parentless child --- he continues to search for his identity.
God help us all!
I'm voting for John McCain in November.

OBAMA'S NOT READY TO LEAD. HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HE'S DOING!
In the past month, Mr. Obama abandoned his commitment to public financing in order to avoid restrictions on his ability to raise massive sums online.
Normally, a staunch defender of abortion rights, Mr. Obama seemed to reject a mental health exception to the ban on late-term abortions in an interview with a Christian magazine.
He commended the Supreme Court's reading of the Second Amendment to protect individual gun ownership rights.
In a speech about patriotism, he deliberately placed distance between himself and the adoring left-leaning Netroots by attacking MoveOn.org for last September's "General BetrayUs" ad.
His vote in favor of a Bush-administration-endorsed version of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act further infuriated online liberals to the point that his own Web site became a forum for grievances.
And Mr. Obama's July 3 remarks that he was willing to "refine" his Iraq position to reflect the realities on the battlefield, while not substantively different from his earlier positions, led to charges of flip-flopping from the left and right, first prompting a follow-up press conference to "try this again," then on July 9, a petulant-sounding explanation at a town-hall event that his critics "haven't been listening" closely enough, and then, on July 14, an Op-Ed in The New York Times restating his position on withdrawal.
Each clarification from the campaign, or from the candidate himself, came to seem, as one donor put it, like an "apology du jour."

I'M VOTING FOR McCAIN IN NOVEMBER.
JayJay1:27PMJul 17th 2008
I am getting so sick and tired of the "oh my God, he said the N word" bullsh-t. Get over it for Christ's sake. The more they can bring that into the campaign they think the better chances Obama has of getting elected.
Apparently a goodly number of people have not sat on a major city bus as I have going to and from work morning and night - or any time of the day if using public transportaion. I listened to blacks constantly during their conversations with each other using that word but usually preceeded by mother F-ing N word. Every other word was the N word and yes for most of us on the bus it was offensive and the bus driver (although black) did nothing to curtail it. They are always very loud during their conversations so there is no mistaking the content.
So what the Obama camp and every other whinner that brings up the topic of the N word is saying is that it's okay for a the blacks to use that word but find it so offensive if a white person uses that word that it's almost grounds for criminal charges! Get over it! If they aren't offended by using the term to each other and in each others precense, then what makes it way out of line if a white person uses the term. It's okay if they refer to whites as honkys; whitey and some other unsavory words. Webster dictionary has a very different definition of the word - and does NOT refer to persons of color!
The world isn't going to come to an end because someone uses the so-called N word. The American Indian has been called many names and treated a whole lot worse than the constantly whinning blacks. They have made something of their situations and depend on nobody for their support. You don't hear them making a international incident if someone calls them names.
This whole campaign's success has been based from the start on playing the race card and I guess by constantly keeping it out there it just gives Obama another leg up in the election. Frankly I am sick and tired of this "poor black" crap aa I am sure many others are. I think Jesse Jackson knows that keeping the race issue going was his intent all along with Obama's blessing. Clever move? Maybe but I think it is going to backfire because again they have insulted the intelligence of the American people.
Is it because Obama hasn't a clue what this country needs to bring it back on track that he keeps the "race" issue going as a means of distraction? Why aren't there any debates and/or town meetings happening as discussed. Does he think his standing in front of an audience with the mic in his hand having complete control over the people without benefit of question and answer format is the only way to go? Not so. He's avoided that at all costs and not one media idiot is asking that question. Where are the debates?
