More than a little addicted to politics and the news that surrounds it, Denise has been voyeuristically involved in politics from an early age.   Having shared her formative years with the Civil Rights movement, the Vietnam War and Watergate she is a little older than most bloggers.  Jaded and cynical to a fault, Denise looks for the dirt she knows resides in every corner of Washington – just to keep her interest.

She's from southern New Jersey and is married to a wonderful man who puts up with non-stop cable news 24/7.  She has a lovely grown daughter who had the sense to be apolitical and still be a good person.  Denise works in IT consulting and her hobbies include reading about politics, watching politics, listening to political talk radio and crochet.  Her ultimate goal would be to work in IT for a wealthy political concern and retire at an earlier age than currently planned.

Denise also blogs at What Did They Do Now? and comments far too frequently at other fine virtual establishments.  She and her husband have also recently started a chapter of Drink Liberally in Pennsauken, NJ.
