Talk about an historic election: both women running for First Lady are knockouts. Whichever woman prevails, millions will emulate her look.

Last Saturday, Hillary Clinton, trying to prove she's just a regular gal, drank a shot of whiskey at a bar in Indiana. Interesting, but nothing new. Here at Mo Rocca 180, we caught Ms. Clinton on tape a year ago taking a shot of Jägermeister (start watching at :47):

Of all the rumor mongering in presidential politics, the most anxiety-provoking are those that deal with race. Historically one of the most typical rumors circulated is that a candidate either is partly black (Warren Harding) or, more scandalously, has a black child out of wedlock (Bill Clinton, John McCain, Thomas Jefferson ... oh wait, that last one was true).

Barack Obama has been on the receiving end of more than his fair share of rumors. Is there anything people won't believe?

Lost in all the attention being paid to the "crucial" Texas and Ohio Democratic contests is the fact that Vermont is also holding a primary. Hillary is not taking the Green Mountain state for granted...

It's a political reality: Hillary Clinton must win Texas if she wants the nomination.

February is Barack History Month. The man is on fire. He was expected to dominate the caucuses and primaries this month - but his decisive win in Maine, a Clinton-friendly state, must have surprised even him. ("Remember the Maine" has a whole different - and happier - meaning in his campaign.)

Still there's one demographic that's up for grabs. Will they get the Barack fever?
