Voter Purges in 6 States May Violate Law

The New York Times reports that tens of thousands of eligible voters have been purged from voters registration lists in at least six states, a move that appears to violate federal law. The newspaper said the purges appear to be accidental. The six states identified as having purge problems are: Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Nevada and North Carolina.
