Space Shuttle Discovery
A bright sparkling glow in the sky Wednesday night had some skygazers puzzled. Was it a star or a comet? Neither. It turns out that the light was urine and waste dumped by astronauts aboard the space shuttle Discovery as they were ending their mission to the International Space Station. Waste water in space freezes into a cloud of ice droplets until the sun hits it and melts it away.
