Tony Granato? C'mon, you dolts! What was wrong with Quenneville? He did a great job with what he had. St. Louis has sucked ever since he left. The Avs need to unload the deadwood, Foote, Forsberg, et al. They should have kept Chris Drury, Martin Skoula and Ryan Smyth. It doesn't help being in the toughest division in the NHL. Minnesota and Calgary should rule the roost for the next few seasons.

Scotty Bowman is with Detroit. He has no interest in coaching again but would consider a position as GM (like in Toronto?). He damn sure does not want any part of the Avs.

Good on Tony. He didn't perform poorly the last time around and has more experience as an assistant under his belt this year. As for Bob Hartley, that would be bad...he couldn't make Atlanta win...0-6, c'mon. Congrats Tony and good luck next season.
