Could it be the same reason many profess to have read the book who have not? It has been touted as the 'word of God" for centuries and those who say differently have been labeled as heretics and sinners and have been persecuted for their 'lack of faith'. Given enough hype--I bet someone could convince most people that the TV Guide was divinely inspired and insist it be present in every courtroom in America. More people worship at the TV Guide's alter daily anyway.

...continued...In all technologies and hard works of athiest scientists and all thier machines and testings .To try to prove we do not ahae a creator .In the very book of Genesis 2:7 .It is written .and God fromed man out of the dust of the ground.and it took that long. that we are formed of the minerals and elements of the earth we are part of .We rely on the elements of the earth and its atmosphere for our physical bodies to survive .and this knowledge could not be in relation or be picked up by our senses alone .But only given by a higher source and knowledge .That source is God our Creator .The intellegence in our bible is guided by the wisdom of God in relation to man .what took thousands of years for scientist to understnad .which try to prove the bible false and of idiocy ...Only could prove God to be true .Its right in the bible .Hidded from the ignorant .Wisdom to the wise .

The Holy Bible ...is an intriguing recording or a history of Gods awesome deliverance of a people in great times of oprressions and a falleness by man choosing thier own willl .The consequences of relying on themselves.Instead of seeking the will of God .We can only see these same reflections in our society today .and how people have relied on thier own desires of themselves to please themsleves .These are nothing new and our genearation only confirms that what is recorded in the bible is so true .Mas mistakes and self power .and thier own ignorance because they will not recognize a higher sourse and fell into the traps of thier own glory which is always doomed to fail .Narrow minded promises .Self recognition .And God at the bottom of the list .Those who are left .as is today .propfess god in words .But thier heart is so far from him .Sciences try so hard to disprove God and only come closer to proving that there is a God .and the book of law .Of spiritual presense and natural law .is

Report This! The bible is man made full of contradictions,non turth fairy tales by ancient idots. If God intervened in human affairs and gave instrructions on how the earth was made, and how to behave and treat other people they would be clear and deciisive for all with no chance to interpret them in different ways.Gods representives would make no mistakes, change the dogma be evil or seek power and fortune. These gods around now should go thru anger management and take courses in the different sciences.

River Gihon could not possibly flow from Mesopotamia and encompass Ethiopia (Gen 2:13).

The name "Babel" does not come from the Hebrew word balbal, "confuse," but from Babylonian babili, "gate of God," which is a translation of the original Sumerian name Ka-dimirra (Gen 11:9).
