Hey, I am not too proud to be corrected. What I meant is the axis from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Is that not the most populous port of the state? The keywords that you used were 'part of it'. I agree. For very stupid political reasons, we did not implement land-use planning that would restrict residential construction in these 'bowl' areas. Stupid, I agree. But this is not an accurate description of the entire city, which I know you didn't say, but I just wanted to repeat for those who didn't read your comments carefullly.

Meanwhile, the despicable AP does these unconvincing, propaganda SCARE stories on "dangers" that strike me as not real. I would bet New Orleans is still vulnerable to disaster (from, say, a direct hit from a category 5 hurricane). I would also bet that the "seepage" referred to in this story has almost NOTHING to do with the real dangers here.
