Saudi Arabia is definitely not a third world country. It's a shame that some people have such little geography and current events knowledge yet they have such strong opinions.

Well, the US only gets most of it's oil imports from Canada, then Venezula, then Mexico. Of all oil impoted from the middle east that only accords for about 25% of our needs. The speculation, futures market, hedge funds are costing us more in oil than the mid east gets. That and a weakening dollar.

who is spreading the rumour that "some eco-nazis" are the reason they arent drilling for oil in the usa?
everyone in the oil business knows that there's no drilling and no new refineries
because oil companies dont want to pay american wages.
its cheaper to go to 2nd and 3rd world countries.

Hi there, I just posted earlier this morning about the supply and demand for oil and how our President is just a beggar, so humiliating. As for myself, i own a hummer, live in a 500,000 house have three boys who I sent to college and married the most beautiful woman in the world. I owe it all to OIL. My Grand parents were very smart people who bought land back in the 30s. They hit oil and bought more land and hit more oil. Today my wells are making me filthy rich. My heir will never have to work a day in their life forever if they chose. Than goodness my sons are all doctors.

Most of you people are hopeless, you don't get it. Oil is traded in Hedge Funds. Greed is the over riding factor here, not domestic production. I don't care if they find a oil pool the size of the Pacific Ocean, you will still be sucked dry.
