well, since they had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11, i wouldn't call it surrender. besides, iraq was certainly not a threat to the u.s.
what many americans fail to recognize is that most of the violence is not from "terrorists." you have a variety of sects vying for political power and that is something our presence will never solve.

I THINK THE DEMOCRATS PURPOSELY ARE LOSING THIS ELECTION - I GUESS IF I WERE THEM I WOULD WANT McCAIN TO HAVE TO TAKE BOTH THE MILITARY AND FINANCIAL BLAME FOR THE BUSH FIASCO. THEY GET TO NOMINATE MINORITY CANDIDATES WITHOUT HAVING TO REALLY SOLVE ANYTHING. THEY ARE COWARDS AS WELL. BUSH IS JUST A FRONT FOR THE POWERS THAT SET ALL OF THIS UP. BUT HE DOESN'T KNOW THAT. AND THEY HAVE ALL DESERTED HIM NOW ANYWAY.

With about 6 months of continued propaganda before the war from the bush administration I guess a lot of people were scared into backing the destruction of Iraq. If people would have just put some thought into it like, Iraq had no air force, no navy and no long range missles they have not backed this war. People do not remember that in 8 years of war iraq could not even defeat Iran and Iran is no where near as powerful as the usa. Beside that if Iraq was a threat to anyone it would have been Israel and Israel would have nuked them at the drop of a hat.

MONDAY MORNING QUARTERBACKS. BUSH GAVE US NO OPTION EXCEPT TO REFLECT. ONCE BUSH DECIDED TO OCCUPY IRAQ AND DESTROY THEIR MILITARY AND INFRASTRUCTURE WE HAD NO OPTION BUT TO STAY. MONDAY MORNING QUARTERBACKING NOW INVOLVES WHAT WE DO TO MINIMIZE OUR OCCUPATION AND NOT LET IT HAS DONE - DIVIDED OUR NATION AND EMPTIED ITS MONETARY RESERVES. IT ISN'T A PLAQUE OR BANNER TO HANG ON THE WALL - IT HAS TO BE DEALT WITH. DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS ALIKE REFUSE TO DO THAT. THEY JUST WANT ELECTED AND HAVE ACCESS TO OUR OMNEY.

I guess we have to remember It could have been Iraqi crude oil that the jet fuel was made of and therefore Iraq was involved in 9/11. That could be the next post on here.
